I have been a long time user of the same name brand antiperspirant for years and finally made the leap to go vegan. I sweat pretty easily but never had a prob with BO but during my pregnancy (due in 6 wks)I've found my underarms to be less than appealing.
My products came in yesterday and I figured today would be a good time to try them out as it was hazy, hot, and humid and I would be moving around a bit. And I am very impressed! I did perspire a little more than if I had been using my name brand but nothing I couldn't deal with. And the smell (the from the new deodorant) was amazing! I kept sniffing myself for 1. to make sure there wasn't any funk lol, and 2. I couldn't help myself, I smelled awesome! :)
Also I was a little nervous about the white residue everyone has complained about... it's no more than a regular solid, IMO. And as for skin irritation, I did find that 'going with the grain' to be less abrasive. And since it's only day one, it's still holding it's shape so I just rubbed it on like a solid stick.
bottom line - love the smell especially with the coconut dusted on top! :)

This product is exactly what I never knew I was looking for. I wasn't out hunting for a new deodorant, but when I found it I couldn't resist the smell.

I will say, it is very crumbly and is pretty terrible at maintaining its shape. The girl in the store said she applies it using a cheap makeup brush and I've found that to be a very effective method for actually getting it on my body. I think I'll just stick it in a container and crush it up and simply apply it with the makeup brush.

The smell...it's amazing. I may or may not have used the brush to put some powder along my neck as well as kind of a dry perfume. I CAN'T HELP IT. It's also very good at what it's supposed to do. Now I just smell awesome instead of sweaty.

I was really hopeful about this product--I tried aromaco before this and it smelled so terrible I felt self-conscious the entire time, so thought I would try this instead.

This product smells very nice--the tee tree is pleasant and light enough after application.

However, it really does not last long. I found myself re-touching it with the generic drugstore deodorants (which I was trying to avoid). I felt smelly after about 1-3 hours, and even when I tried rubbing some more t'eo on, it never covered the B.O. smell effectively. I am not one to exercise much, and don't sweat very much either--and this really just couldn't keep up with my regular student life, sitting in classes, moderate walking on campus etc.

I wanted to love this--but really, it just does not work as I had hoped.

I use this product every day. It smells incredible almost like a strong lemonade. I sweat quite a bit considering that I live in Georgia, it is summer, and I'm outside two hours a day. This keeps me smelling fresh and has even improved my under arm skin. The application takes a little getting used to and I made the mistake of using it immediately after shaving (it burns) but once you get used to it you'll want more. I wish they had more scents in the bar like this one.

I will embarrassingly admit that I smell. I try hard to use natural deodorants and I had yet to find even one that would keep the smell at bay. Then I got this one and can't get over how well it works. I went two days on the same application and still no smell. I made my family smell my pits and they agreed there was no odor at all. It didn't keep me dry but even with the wetness there was no smell at all! My only wish is that I bought this a long time ago.

Amazing lemongrass and tea tree smell, its so natural and mixes well with the floral perfumes and lotions I sometimes wear. It also smells like a great perfume on its own! I have hairy pits, so many deodorants leave a white residue but this goes on invisibly and feels so clean(not greasy!). I am not a heavy sweater so I don't know how well this works as an anti-perspirant but it is great for me. I don't think I could ever go back to deodorants with a ton of aluminum and chemicals.

These two products together work better than any natural or regular deodorants I have ever tried (and I have even tried behind the pharmacy counter strength)! It's embarrassing to admit but I had a hard time controlling my under arm smell (aka stinky pits :( ). I can't say enough good things about them both. I have not had a single stinky day since I started using them, even durring stress, and a 5k run! I am not exaggerating at all when I say these things, I couldn't be happier.

I was the first to be super skeptical of a natural deodorant. I normally sweat very heavily, and so I thought that this deodorant wouldn't be enough. Boy, was I wrong. It smells nice, and it keeps me dry all day. I don't know why it keeps me dry, as it doesn't have an antiperspirant in it, but nevertheless, it works.

I got this product because it smelled better and was less expensive than the other deodorants . I've tried many different types of natural deodorants from other places and I thought I'd give this one a try because; I like some scents that both men and women can wear being a woman and the one I normally get was almost out . I liked the smell but when I went to apply this to my freshly shaved underarms arms it irritated my skin , got white power on my carpet and crumbled around the edges . It was summer when I tried this and it was 85-90 degrees out and I sweat a good deal more during the summer. It lasted me about to half of the day like most other natural ones I've tried so it was expected. But the good thing is I didn't smell like a hippy and when I reapplied I felt fresh and dry because the powder stuff its made of coats you and absorbed the sweat leaving me feeling not sweaty . now because of where it crumbled it scrapes me a bit and maybe because I got it a about 8 months ago it smells like cleaners now :/ . If this came in more of a cream type base I might try it again . But I'm not crazy about the irritation or the crumblyness

Nothing beats T'eo - hands down! It's too bad I'm a natural stinker. For 8 years I have tried every natural, non-aluminum option out there. I've done a ton of research and even tried making my own. Other deos usually wear out by 3pm and then I keep my arms glued to my sides until I get home. T'eo smells great and lasts all day, until the next morning which for me is unheard of. It feels light to wear all day, not sticky or waxy. I found my "lifer", please, Lush, never discontinue this product. Note, you will still sweat a little, which I think is natural and the guys I know aren't bothered by that. I've worn it with black tank tops and get a little white on it, but it can be brushed off easily, it's not like a powder that seems to go everywhere. I hope they find a way to improve the application, I don't see the way it is now as entirely efficient. But for the results I'm smelling...I'll take it in a heartbeat!

Great: Smells incredible, no plastic container involved, nice shape.
Not so great: Crumbles, leaves white powder on underarms, blue wax falls apart and if underarms get too warm, it becomes sticky and tacky.

Will continue looking for a LUSH deodorant that works for me.

It is a good deoderant, however I had 3 different people in my office ask "What is that smell?". Even I could smell it all day. Between the really strong smell, and crumbling in your hands while you apply it, this one is a no for me. If you were going for a long sweaty run with a board meeting immediately after - it could work?

I have been using T'eo for a few days now due to the fact that I wanted to switch to something natural to avoid all the harmful ingredients in other deodorants. So far it does the trick, but I don't really sweat much as it is so I may not be the right person to listen to. I don't think it is designed to stop sweat as much as it is to make your sweat smell better and not leave bacteria behind. But I will say that it is the best smelling natural deodorant I have ever smelled. It literally smells like lemongrass which is great. But If you get it I would say get one of the body bar tins for it. It fits in there perfectly and T'eo is kind of messy to just leave on your counter. Also if you drop it, I for-see it breaking into 100 pieces. Other than that it seems to be a great product.

I'm a guy in my 30's and I was made aware of some toxic ingredients in your normal everyday antiperspirant deodorants like "Dove" or "Degree" that kind of put me off so I started looking for a more natural deodorant. With some trial and error of other deodorants I happen to come across Te'o. I ABOSOLUTELY love this deodorant. I don't naturally sweat a lot so I use it once a day and theres no sweat, musty smell at the end of the day like with most other natural deodorants I've tried, which is a HUGE plus. Te'o has a fantastic smell which will last all day. Great product and I've recommended it to all my friends!

Granted, I've only been using T'eo for a week but so far I love it! I sweat pretty easily and at the end of day I could smell my armpits, even with little/no physical activity. I decided to try something more natural and went with T'eo over Aromaco because I can't stand even lightly scented patcholi. T'eo paired with Vanilla Puff of Coconut has kept me surprisingly dry and fresh smelling all day for 10-12 hours, then I do have to reapply like any other deodorant.

I keep T'eo in the paper wrapper it came in on my dresser in a cup. To use, I rub the top of the bar with my finger to loosen the powder. Then I gently (very gently) pat the bar into my armpit and cover the area. I finish by patting VP or Coconut on top to absorb extra moisture. Not sure how this will work in the humid Chicago summer but for the rest of the year I've found my forever deodorant.

I have always sweat like a man (and I'm a young woman so really not attractive) and tried all the high aluminum deodorants, even one prescription one that caused all-day irritation. So I finally just accepted I would sweat profusely and switched to natural ones to save my blouses from the aluminum deposits. I tried a well-known natural one from maine, but it never really dried on my skin which felt gross. After a year of natural deo, lo and behold, my sweat production decreased and it wasn't such an issue. And then someone clued me into Lush's deodorants, and the powders were appealing because they didn't add a wet feeling. T'eo not only smells great, it really helps keep your skin healthy from shaving. I don't use it directly after shaving because it can sting, but wait 5 minutes after your shower and it's great! And the powder lasts all day and several dog walks. It can sometimes add a residue on black clothes, so I use Aromaco first and then dab T'eo over it with a brush or my fingers. A little goes a long way, even for physical activities. Seriously, this has changed my whole routine! I'm in love with T'eo!

I really like and recommend this product. It lasts all day and does not irritate my skin. This deodorant is not an anti-perspirant but it does control odor and has a light herbal/citrus based scent. The only con I have is that it leaves a powdery residue, but it does not discolor my clothes.

I was looking for alternatives to deodorants with aluminum in them, and I tried another brand of stick deodorant first. When that failed, I turned to Lush and they pointed me in the direction of T'eo! It's a great way to ease into the powder deodorants. It has a really clean and refreshing scent, too. It lasts all day, keeps me dry and it doesn't interact weirdly with my body chemistry.

I work 9-10 hours as a grocery manager, constantly running around the store and moving heavy boxes all day...which means sweat shows up quickly and stays around all day. This deodorant kills any trace of odor and keeps sweat to a minimum, not to mention it smells fantastic! The only caveat to this stuff is that your investment literally crumbles in your hands! It's great when its a big solid piece, but after a couple uses it begins to crumble into smaller pieces and powder. Granted, you can still use these, but its annoying to see it dropping all over the floor. Don't carry the fragments in a plastic bag in your car, I'm sure you might attract some attention if it finds its way into the sights of the cops!
