Tea Tree Water
How to use
Spritz directly on the face after cleansing and use a cotton pad to remove any excess cleanser. To tighten pores, let the toner air dry. Follow with the moisturizer most appropriate for your skin's needs. Facial toners also help combat the drying effects of airplane travel and air-conditioned offices. Give yourself a spritz or two on your next flight or at work, you'll know what we mean.

I love this toner. I got it as an early Christmas present for myself along with Fresh Farmacy Soap. I have been using Coalface and Enzymion lotion for a couple months and I just wanted to switch things up a bit; altho the previous combination was working quite well. But I have been using the toner and Farmacy combo for about a week now, and my skin has never been so soft. I will admit, sometimes the Fresh Farmacy makes my skin a bit tight and the toner doesnt completely fix that, but a lil Enzymion or Johnson's Baby Lotion before I go to bed clears that right up! LOOOOVE THE TEA TREE TONER!

*PS, I am an African American woman with a medium-brown skin tone, and it's also cleared up any blotchiness, so dont worry my fellow FABULOUS black girls...LUSH is for us too =)

I've been using this product everyday for a couple months now, and I've got to say...I see very little difference in my skin.I had really high hopes for this product after reading all the reviews for it and considering the price tag. But maybe my skin is just way worse than everyone else's, because this stuff really doesn't have much effect on my skin at all. When I put it on, my skin does feel a little tighter, but it doesn't overdry. So it feels like it's working...but then I keep breaking out and still have huge pores. I tried to be patient with the stuff, but I'm just not seeing results. Also, the stuff smells like a clean toilet. Yes, a CLEAN toilet, but a toilet nonetheless. I would be more than willing to put up with a bad smell if it worked...but it doesn't. And the bottle is running out way too fast. I sprayed it directly on my skin for a while before I started using cotton pads. It still seems to run out quickly. So...I don't know. I'm really disappointed in this product. It's not terrible, doesn't irritate my skin, etc, but the [$]price tag is way too high for this stuff.

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

I was never a big toner user because it always dried my skin out and made it feel tight. When I was visiting the local Lush store one of the girls convinced me I should try this for my combination skin (oily T-zone). I haven't let one bottle run out without having the next waiting in the wings!! I love how this is such a refreshing step in my skin care, certainly not drying! The combination of ingredients leave my skin feeling fresh. Sometimes if I'm really tired and it was a light make up day I will spritz this on my face and do a quick wipe to remove some of the gunk. Bad, I know....but better than doing NOTHING, the toner is so good it grabs up a significant amount. So glad I tried this, I'll never do without it.

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

Was making my weekend rounds at a Lush store near me, and the woman asked me if I use a toner. I said no, but was interested in hearing more. She explained that the Tea Tree Water Toner is great for the T zone (forehead, nose, upper lip, chin). My T-zone, particularly my nose, gets very oily, but everywhere else on my face is pretty balanced. Still, she suggested this one and having been using it for a week now, I'm convinced it was the right choice. I noticed that if I use it before bedtime with my night regimen (cleanser, toner, then night cream) I don't wake up as oily anymore. It really does the job and can use it during the day as well. I'm glad I made this purchase!

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

I have always had acne prone, combination skin. I have tried every OTC and prescription treatment out there, and nothing ever really helped. I decided to go the opposite direction and try the all-natural approach.

At first, I tried Eau Roma Water, but I don't think that was right for me. It smelled nice, but didn't really address my acne issues. I switched to Tea Tree Water instead, and it's been great. I used to get regular breakouts almost every day, but when I use this product in combination with Coalface soap and Imperialis moisturizer, I hardly ever breakout, my pores are smaller, and I don't have an oil slick on my face by the end of the day.

The toner is very light and soothing, and feels nice after a hot shower. I use it twice a day after washing, but plan to use it as a moisture refresher during the winter months as well.

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

I have been battling acne and oily skin for 12 years. I have been on every medication and used every medicated cream known to man. I've always wanted to try a toner but my skin is very sensitive and reactive. I also wasn't sure how it would interact with my medicated creams; (retin-A & clindoxyl). This toner soothes my red, itchy skin without interacting with the creams and smells great!

Holy moly! I don't know what is in this toner - I mean, I do because I can read the ingredients - but after years of red, busted skin with bouts of rosacea, eczema and cystic acne, this is the only thing that keeps my skin clear. I noticed a difference right away and while I think it is pricey compared to other stuff, like all Lush products I use, it is so worth the price. Until I found this toner, I didn't know what it was like NOT to be embarassed by the flaws and blemishes on my face.

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

I have very sensitive, problem prone skin due to food allergies. Once in a while I get either rash like breakouts across my forehead and chest, and/or painful cysts.

After discovering that a gentle skin care routine helped to keep my periodic flare ups manageable (and that products for acne prone skin were the enemy), I stayed far away from toners as most have alcohol.

I decided to try this one in preparation for the humid summer (which makes me shiny) and I'm so glad I did. I received it in the mail just as I was experiencing a skin reaction, and it has really sped up the healing process. I use it twice a day with Fresh Farmacy and it really helps to keep shine at bay throughout the whole day.

It can be a tad drying, but a moisturizer does the trick. I look forward to eventually switching my moisturizer to one from Lush, as well as switching my spot treatment to Grease Lightening. Thank you Lush!

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

This product is actually great! It was my first purchase from Lush. My forehead gets really oily and gross feeling, while everywhere else is soft and smooth.
Just a few spritz, let it sit, and my whole face feels perfect. I use it about 2-3 times a day, or as needed. I was really unsure at first to buy this. I don't usually buy facial products, but it was well worth it. I will defiantly be buying from Lush again. Only downsize is that I hate the smell! But I can get over that.

After being recommended the product by a friend, I was so glad to purchase the big bottle. I use it everyday morning and night and in a couple of weeks it has truly transformed my face. I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin and this has balanced my skin and tightened my pores. There have been noticeably less blackheads. Along with the toner, I also use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and sunscreen and a gentle facial cleanser. Skin is under control. It is a little pricey, but for what it has done for my skin it is worth it!

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

This new Routine I've been doing for the past 3 weeks works wonders for my PREVIOUSLY: Oily, Hyperpigmented, and Occasional Acne Face! Weeks ago I was in search for something Natural that would help me deal with oily skin. I always heard a little oil is good for the skin, but mine was too much. Lush was a product I always wanted to try, but wanted to try it in person, so when I discovered a new Store in a Mall I frequent, I almost passed out with delight. So the Associate first introduced me to Dark Angels. Then I researched toners online, and thought Tea Tree Water, would work. I unscrew the sprayer and apply with a cotton pad after cleaning with Dark Angels. Followed by Enzymion for moisture. These 3 products have now lightened the acne scars, and toned down the oil a lot! Great thing is I only do this a few times a week to pamper my skin. Hey it works for me! Try it!!

I have recently become addicted to Lush, and got this to help my minor acne prone face. I loved the fresh-tight feeling it supplied, but than made my face extremely itchy and I broke out in acne =(

I cannot say enough good things about this product and wish that I had bought it sooner! This spray is so refreshing and effective, especially when my face tends to get greasy around mid-afternoon/early evening. I love throwing this little bottle in my purse and spraying my face when my skin feels oily. It's so convenient and easy to use!

I have also used this spray on my upper back and chest, which occasionally breakout and feels oily on occasion. This product works so well and doesn't irritate my skin.

I heard about LUSH from some YouTube beauty gurus and was so excited to find out we had one in my state! I never noticed it before! I walked in and asked the girl working if she could hook me up with a good skin care routine for oily acne-prone skin. And may I add, LUSH workers are SO great! Both informational and nice. I've been looking for a good skin care routine for months and nothing was working on my face. I used many toners and they just made me break out even more and stung! But not this product! I've only been using this product for two days, and wow! I first sprayed it onto my face and then a little bit on a cotton pad to work it around my face. Let's just say that my face has already totally cleared up! I do have some small bumps and scarring but I'll give that some more time :) I personally like the smell, it is very subtle. It is also very refreshing to use throughout the day, it works great to remove excess oil. I have nothing bad to say about it so far! Way to go LUSH! Thank you!

Comments about Tea Tree Water Toner:

So I am a rare/lucky individual who never had skin problems growing up so when I'd recently started getting acne as an adult (maybe due to cross country relocation) along the side of my face and on my chin I pretty much tried a wide variety of store front products, toners cleansers, spot treatments and nothing worked. In fact all the products I used seemed to further aggravate my face. About a week ago, I developed a weird facial rash from either one of the face products, pollens in the hair, or a weird combination of both when my cousin-in-law told recommended using this and herbalism together with one of lush's facial moisturizers (since my skin is so sensitive lately, I went with celestial). So after two days the irritation was completely gone and a week later, not irritation, no acne. Love it!

I had been looking for a toner, especially because my skin get really greasy as the day goes on (ex: T-zone becomes so shiny it's like a reflective surface!). This one really does the trick. It's just so lightweight and soothing overall. It smells delightful, too!

I would say it depends on your schedule and your skin. If you wash and use the toner on your skin in the morning, then go out to work/school all day, I would say cleanse and use it again at night, too. Mainly due to all the dirt/oil/environmental factors you will pick up during the day. But if once a day works well for you, you could stick to that. The minimum use is once a day.

I use it once a day, right after a shower to help finish clean my face. But the people at the lush store said people like to use it twice a day, once in the morning and at night; it's gentle enough to use twice a day.

Tea Tree Water is great to use after cleansing, as it will help to remove residual cleanser and hydrate the skin. In addition, you can use it throughout the day to help control blemishes and to refresh the skin. It is completely up to you how often you use it!

We would recommend using the Tea Tree Water first, as it will help to remove any remaining oils and dirt from the skin, as well, it will take off any excess cleanser left behind. Grease Lightening is best used as a spot treatment applied to blemishes as they come up.

You can certainly spray our toners on over makeup. Wait a couple of minutes to let it dry before touching your face and you should be fine!

I can spritz a little on my face over my makeup to keep oil in control. Hold the bottle away from your face, use only 2 or 3 sprays, and let it air dry. It won't smudge, smear, or take off makeup unless you wipe your face before it dries.

We usually recommend using a toner before applying a moisturizer. Toners help remove any excess cleanser that might be left over on the skin, and they help hydrate the skin (or LUSH ones do, at any rate, as they are alcohol-free), so that you don't need as much moisturizer when you do apply it. They also have other helpful ingredients, like antimicrobial tea tree, and oil-fighting grapefruit!

I do. You can go either way, when I spray directly i feel is too much product and I feel I am taking it off when I go over it with the cotton ball. That's just me. I like it more when I apply to a cotton ball.

You can use it with either option- spraying on a cotton pad or ball and wiping the skin, or spritzing directly onto the face, it's up to whichever method you prefer!

You can do it either way. I usually just spritz it directly on my face when I know it is completely clean and make-up free, otherwise I spray some on a cotton pad to remove any make-up that wasn't removed from cleansing and then do a small spritz to the face to add a little more goodness to my skin. Hope this helps! =)

The directions suggest spraying it directly on your face. You can then remove excess with a cotton ball, or let it air dry to tighten pores.

You can really do either. I would suggest spraying it onto your face and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. If there is any excess wipe it off with a round cotton pad. (I wouldn't use a cotton ball...they don't work as well)

For everyday use I spray it directly on my face and wait for it to dry. The only time I use a cotton ball is if I don't feel like washing my face before I go to the gym or something and I'll spray this on and wipe it off with a cotton ball. I think if you use a cotton ball to apply it, it wastes the product since you need a lot to dampen the cotton.

Spray it directly to your face. You can use a cotton ball to wipe off the excess, though I don't do that. I just let it all air dry. The excess just drips a little then it dries.

I usually spray a couple of spurts onto a cotton pad before wiping it on my face but only after I wash my face with a cleanser then I apply moisturizer.

If your acne is mainly from oily skin then yes it will help. Be sure to follow up with a acne cleanser. However this is more of a preventer than a remover. Hope I helped.

I believe that this product did indeed help get rid of my acne. I am taking Accutane for my acne but I don't rely on the medication alone to get rid of my acne completely. If you pair it up with the right cleanser for your skin type it will work wonders to your face! This toner did clear the blackheads on my nose and T-zone. I recommend this toner 100% so give it a go and see for yourself!

Once I started using this I definitely think it helped with my acne. I don't think it will heal it all alone so it would need to be used with a face wash and moisturizer. But who knows each person it different. Also, I found as soon as I started using this product it drastically helped decrease oily skin.
