Even though the smell is absolutely wonderful, it does not lather up well at all and I find that it does not last long on my loofa. I have to constantly re-apply soap just to cover up my body!! I personally like my soap to be very sudsy but it just doesn't reach my standards for a soap I really love. Its a shame because the smell is so delicious.

Definitely one of those you need to smell before you buy! My bar smelled exactly like a cheap cherry lollipop you get as a kid from the doctors office. It was sickly sweet and wasn't very pleasant. I could maybe look past the smell if it was an awesome soap or lathered well, but it doesn't do anything for me. There are better lush soaps out there!

I ordered this soap online, sight unseen, and while I do like it it certainly isn't what I was expecting. The soap is much much darker than the bright pink block in the picture, more of a dull beige-y-maroon than in your face pink (I was kind of disappointed about that). It was also a pretty small block for the money. Despite these drawbacks, it definitely works well and does the job. It has a very strong cherry candy/ cotton candy smell to it, very sugary. Definitely not a smell for everyone, but it is much milder and nicer on skin than just sniffing the block. I'm allergic to everything and haven't had any problems with this soap. Wish it were larger and brighter. I think next time I'll try a different Lush soap, they have better

This product smells so good. It has everlasting smells. I have had it for 2 months and use it everyday. This specific soap has lasted me 2 months and still smells fresh like i bought it yesterday. Enjoy the product.:)

I really wanted to like this soap. It has really great reviews here. But the smell of it is so strong and off-putting - I'm skimming through the reviews below where they describe it as Vitamin Water or cough drops like it's a positive thing - it smells like chemical candies! The texture is hard and clear, unlike a lot of the soaps at Lush. It just doesn't seem as high quality as others. It did, however, leave me feeling clean and it's really easy to use. So if you have the opportunity, through a sample or at a store, and like the scent, there's no reason not to get it. I'm just not into the smell at all, and because of that this is probably my least favorite Lush soap.

I got a sample once and LOVED the smell it left in my dorm room before I even used it. After I started using it, my bathrobe smelled like Godmother for weeks. I did eventually have to buy a small chunk for longer shower use and definitely loved it. This is what got me hooked on Snow Fairy scent. Last holiday season I got so much Snow Fairy-scented stuff.mmmmm.... Also, it totally smells like XXX Vitamin Water, in case any of you are trying to place the scent and have had this Vitamin Water before. I love that stuff.

I got this as a sample with the Miranda soap I bought, and I honestly wasn't expecting it to smell so good! It's so smooth and moisturizing and the scent stays on my skin. I kept getting compliments on how good I smelled. I use it on my face and it feels so soothing. I recommend this!

I'm the type of girl who likes to lather up in the shower, and I mean bubbles and foam everywhere! I know it's terribly drying for your skin, but I love it! It makes me feel clean. I didn't know what to do with this soap, it just wouldn't bubble! But then I used a poof with it and rub the soap on the poof and finally, FOAM!! So yes, you definitely need to use a poof with this. I use the Hottie Massage Bar after to soften and moisturize my skin. The Godmother and the Hottie Bar are practically married in my house! What a pair! The perfect combo to greet you after a nice long run!

I got a sample of this and almost the entire time I was walking home I tried to figure out what the smell reminded me of!! Both my mom and friend tried to place it, but we all thought it smelld different. I think it smells like some kind of fruit punch. The smell is so strong that I think I will only use it once in a while.

I originality got this product as a free sample, I always use my free samples as my hand soaps to see if I like them enough to buy. Let's just say about 90% of the time I end up buying the item I got as a free sample, like the Godmother. I'm normally a sweet smelling loving person whether its food or beauty products, the Godmother isn't sweet per say but it definitively stood up to my sweet smelling loving personality.

If you love Lush, you may remember a shower gel called Snow Fairy. The Godmother soap smells exactly like it, and I couldn't be happier! I love so many of the Lush soaps, but this one has a great sense of nostalgia for those who remember Snow Fairy :]

This. Smells. Amazing. God, it is sooo good! I think it smells like white chocolate and black currants (like The Comforter). Its more of a dense soap, not creamy. It lathers okay, so the main reason to buy this would be because of the scent!

When I bought a medium sized chunk of this, I intended to buy Rock Star, but it was $30 and it didn't moisturize my hands when I tested it at the sink. I just smelled it ans bougth it for [$] because it because it smelled nice in the wrapper. When I brought it home I could NOT stop smelling it! It smelt like pure heaven! But the next morning, I used it and it kept slipping from my hands! When I got out, the delicious smell COMPLETELY faded and I was literaly squeaky clean. And when I put it back on the side of my shower, it would not stay there, so I had to put it on top of my Whoosh shower jellie container. I fealt like I waisted [$] after that experience. :(

I use this product in the shower, my sister said she hated it because it smells like "overpowering swedish fish," but I love it! I use it until it gets down to a smaller size (which happens too quickly) and I then put it in a little plastic container with a tad bit of water, and I make bubbles, then pour the liquid onto me until all the soap is gone. My sis cut up her bar, which makes it even worse, so now I am just stuck with some pieces that I use every day. overall this smells great, but the smell does not stay for a long time, but I still would purchase this again without hesitation.

The first time I bought this product was because my husband loved it. Then we got a couple of chunks for my in-laws and they got an addiction to its lovely fragance. I love it too, but if you can't have enough and you want to keep it so close that you almost sleep and live with it in your nose(Like my in-laws), let me give you a little trick, I used this one to wash my bed stuff, yes! Comforter, sheets, pillow shams, etc. Your whole bedroom will smell amazing for days and you will sleep like a baby! The steps are: Let your washer run with warm water. Boil a cup of water and put a chunk of soap (About 3oz) and let it melt in the water, pour the soapy water mix in the washer and put all your bed stuff. Let it soak for a few minutes(About 20min). After that time you can let the washer run normally, dry it as usual and voila! I gave this trick to my mother in law and she is doing the same, and the sales girl in the Lush store loved the idea! So in a few words, this soap is amazing!.
