4 stars because it's a great lip balm/gloss, very light, a nice sheen. 1 star off because it wears off verrrrry very quickly after putting on. Seems like you rub your lips together, talk for 5 mins - gone. Smells and tastes great! Really happy that LUSH has come out with a preservative-free, vegan, and borax free balm! Hope this stays past Valentine's Day!

I bought this on a whim while cashing out, hearing "this is just a valentines day product and we don't know how long it will last." I am SOOOO glad I did! I use this everyday. When I feel my lips getting dry or slightly chapped, I slather on this creamy lip gloss and it makes my lips smooth and shiny! NEED A BONUS? It tastes great also!

I love to use this everyday! Whenever I feel my lips starting to chap, i slather this bad boy on and my lips magically transform into slick and smoothness! I really love this, it smells wonderful, my sweetheart loves to give me kisses when I'm wearing this, it has a beautiful shimmer to it, However, be warned, keep this in your purse not your pocket. This was in my pants pocket (not tight), during the middle of winter, and I'm usually chilly, I don't run hot, but this melted into liquid within an hour. I had to put it in the freezer to re-form, but it made a mess. :(

I saw this on a recent visit to my local Lush shop and bought it on a whim and am loving it so far. In the tin, it looks like bright pink, solidified Pepto Bismol but don't let that fool you! It goes on very light and sheer, leaving a hint of sheen on your lips (but not much color), so it looks great over lipstick or lipliner. It doesn't smell like much to me, but it's moisturizing and lightweight and looks really pretty on. I'm happy with it so far!

This is a nice lip gloss. It smells and tastes nice, and is lightweight and seems to soak in pretty quickly. It's softer than the other "little pot" lip products.

Unfortunately, it seems to wear off kind of fast, and like most lip glosses, is a little tacky (as in sticky.)

If you're looking for solid moisturizing, you're better off going with Ultrabalm, and if you're looking for color, going with one of the lip colors from the Emotional Brilliance line. This might layer on top of an EB lipstick, or on top of a non-LUSH lip stain if you're looking for gloss on top of the color.

It's also very pink. It's a sheer very pink, but pink nonetheless.

I knew I had to try this because first I am obsessed with lush and also because its their 1st lipgloss. I really do like this stuff. I absolutely love the whipped texture of this. It feels like a mousse. The pretty pink sheen that it gives is really subtle but you do notice it. I agree with what everyone else has said that it smells JUST like a laffy taffy. It has a little taste but not too much. It does moisturize but not as much as their other balms. all in all I love it but it doesn't last very long. I kinda wish it was just a little heavier so it would last longer.

I have recently developed an allergy to waxes. Anytime I use a lip product with wax in it my lips breakout. (It is extremely painful!) i was stuck using aquaphor, for those who don't know it comes in a large lotion sized squeeze container. (very annoying to carry around). When I saw "The kiss" I had to try it. I went to somerset lush the day after it was released. I live the scent and the creamy texture. I'm really hoping it becomes a year round item.

I'm in between on this one. When I sampled it in store, I fell in love because it was so pretty & moisturizing. However, once I tried it at home, it was gone in a pinch. I felt it sunk into my skin well, but the fabulous pink glossy look of it only lasted a few minutes before I had to reapply

I love The Kiss!!!! I have been hoping that Lush would come out with a "perfect pink" lip gloss!!! It comes out of the tin very easily so it is not like Lip Service, but it has a great soft, slightly shimmery pink color that is perfect for everyday wear!!! Please LUSH do not stop making this product it is exactly what I have been hoping you would make for a long time!!!!

If you are looking for a go to gloss/balm that looks amazing on its own or on top of your favorite lip stick or lip liner, this is it! A soft natural pink with a lovely shine, yet it isn't heavy, slippery or tacky.

A slightly sweet taste and smell, yet not overpoweringly so. A little goes a long way and this product will not 'travel' or slide off your lips.

The tin is perfect for on the go applications, and after applying you won't be left with a yucky greasy finger to contend with, just rub the left overs onto your cuticles.

A great treat for you, a friend new to Lush or teens starting their cosmetic collection. Winterize your lips with this soft, sweet treat. A great buy to try!

This a very pretty, super sheer, shiny gloss, Think lip balm meets lipgloss. A little greasy, but not terrible. Only a touch of shimmer. And the texture is fun, like swirling frosting on your lips. I was hoping for a little more taste, but neutral is OK. Looks good topping a lip stain/tint.

No grittiness like the tints can have, either. I like this product alot!

This product feels like putting moisturizing cake frosting on my lips. It goes on smooth and feels great with a perfectly sheer pink tint to it. I have very fair skin and found that It Started with a Kiss lip tint was very dark for my face but paired with this is perfect. If only it lasted longer - it seems as though, once applied, any type of lip action that occurs tends to remove almost the product.

I love this product!!! The only negative thing I could say about The Kiss is that it's limited edition. I would love to see Lush come out with more lip gloss. I get compliments on my lips frequently while wearing it. The color is a beautiful pearlescent pink. It makes my lips really soft and it lasts much longer than other lip gloss. If they were to decide to keep the product, I would probably always keep it on hand.

I really like this product! I wasn't sure if it was going to be as "lipglossy" as other more chemically treated prpducts, but I was very pleasantly surprised! It tasted like strawberries to me, and went on with a pinkish tint. The main point is the shimmer though, because that really is very pretty. The only thing I didn't like was how buttery it felt, and I know that sounds weird, but since it was made of natural butters, it melted on my lips and felt like butter.

I bought "The Kiss" online while ordering a few other lovely Lush products, so I didn't have the chance to try it out in store.

I first used it after trying out Popcorn lip scrub (fabulous!) and my lips seemed to dry out following the application. I thought, "maybe it's the scrub", so I tried it sporadically throughout the next day. The first thing I noticed that I didn't like was the smell/taste. I didn't really detect any almond or mandarin. It was more like wax. It took a while to soak in. When it finally did it left my lips feeling dry and sticky. It left a nice pink sheen though, I did like that. I ended up giving it to my mom, who loves it.

I LOVE THIS. It is so soft. It isn't highly pigmented, but has a slight shimmer to it to bring attention to your lips. It feels like the most amazing butters are melting between your lips!! I has kept my lips from chapping. It is all I've been using for three days now. I can't stop. The only downside is it has to be reapplied frequently, or maybe I'm just so obsessed that I'm using it all the time.
