The only other fresh face mask i've ever used was Love Lettuce. Recently I found a new way to exfoliate my skin (besides love lettuce) so I wanted to try for masks that would make my skin firmer and glowy. This did exactly that. I kept it on for 15 minutes and applied water when it got dry.

Differences in my skin after one use: brighter, smaller pores, firmer (especially around my eyes), eliminated redness** (that was a welcomed surprise)

NOTE: i'd recommend using some sort of toner afterwards to help get rid of the slight film that it leaves.

What wasn't good about this? It did everything it promised for my skin. I used Truth once a week, every Friday and I have missed it considerably since it ran out. My skin was so happy after washing this off, I didn't have to use any moisturizer for the weekend. After my third, maybe fourth time, I began to notice my skin looked brighter and felt softer, the redness around my nose was gone. This right here was heaven for my face.

I love this mask. I got it as a surprise from my mother because she walked by a Lush shop and decided to get a few things. I love this mask. Now Im 18 and my skin isnt mature, so this isnt made for me. But I love this mask. Its perfectly light. I would imagine it being a must have in the summer. It smells so good! Some people dont like the smell surprisingly. But its so fruity and light. Im sure most people will like the smell, it smells...fruity and tropical, but minus any citrus. It gave my skin a nice boost. Now I have acne prone, sensitive and slightly combo type skin. It didnt do anything for my acne, duh. It isnt meant for acne at all but I just loved it. Everyone should give it a go, espically if you have the 5 black pots and can get a free mask. It doesnt give drastic results but I love everything about it so I would pay full for it.

I use this mask twice a week. I have nice skin, but this mask just gives it that extra something. It smoothens my skin and its very moisturizing. My skin has that little extra glow that you see on the red carpet. Love this mask!

At first I wasn't crazy about this mask--the sales associate sold it to me to go with Dark Angels based on my desire for gentle moisturizing, but also skin rescue when I found that they were out of Catastrophe. She didn't give me instructions for use, so the first few times I left it on way too long, until the whole thing was dried up and uncomfortable, which actually ended up sucking moisture from my skin. However, once I checked reviews online I started using more product and leaving it on for less time (usually just while I brushed/flossed at night), and in just three days of using it nightly my skin was gorgeous, smooth, soft, and positively glowing. I was rehabbing my skin from a period of not treating it so kindly, and this did just the trick with my combination, bumpy, and congested skin. A great product, and I really would recommend the combo with Dark Angels for anyone who needs to clear things up or just wants a little extra exfoliation. I just wish I could order it online, because the closest Lush to me is over 4 hours away, and I'm absolutely addicted to this stuff now!

This is a perfect addition to your skin care regimen, especially in the winter when your skin needs an extra oomph in moisture. I have oily skin, and this doesn't make me extra oily or create any breakouts. After a Sacred Truth treatment, I'm left with softer, brighter skin that just feels supple and fresh. I generally exfoliate prior to using this mask (try the Love Lettuce to begin with maybe?). The mask tends to make my skin that much softer when my skin has just been scrubbed clean. A bunch of people have had issues with the smell, but quite honestly, what do you care? It's SO good for your skin!! I mean come on, if you prefer a mask that smells good (probably using a bunch of chemicals), Lush is not for you. Yes, Lush does try to use naturally good smelling ingredients, but we don't expect fried food to smell good, taste good AND be good for us do we? Well, maybe we do, but it's never gonna happen. So just deal with it!

I use The Sacred Truth in the morning before I get in the shower. It instantly wakes my skin up, de-puffs it, and makes is glow! The texture is smooth and silky and it washes off well. The smell is fresh and fantastic to me - like a vegetable garden. I love this mask.

I wish this could be shipped because I would use it all the time! I used it as a facial, leaving it on 30-45 minutes. After 3 days in a row, it was like I had new skin--soft, smooth, bright!

I've tried many of Lush's fresh face masks and know how to read my skin. With the transition between cooler months and the extra stress of Fall's moody weather, my skin began to flake around my mouth and on the sides of my face. I thought of Oatafix but I wanted something that would give an extra push of moisture and extra vitamins. Compared to Oatafix and other masks, the texture was extra creamy and I was able to apply onto my skin evenly and without having to drag it across my face. Once I washed it off, my face was glowing and smooth. I totally had that "ahhhhh" moment when I took it off an looked at my face. I would say its a great mask to revitalize your skin after a long week of stress, tired mornings, long nights, dry-over worked skin. If your breaking out, I'd say this wouldn't be as effecting as maybe the Cupcake mask. But it brightened my skin and gave it pearl like glow. Def a new favorite.
And note: its not for just mature skin. Being a young 20-something year old, it still did my skin wonders!

Such a great mask!!! I'm in my early 20s and so I'm slowly exiting the teen breakout phase and I only have the occasional hormonal zit. This mask makes my skin glow and it just feels refreshing and clean. Do NOT leave on for too long (5-10 minutes is enough!) because it dries fairly quickly. Not too strong of a scent and very classic! And shhh my boyfriend likes it too!!

I love using this when I'm in the mood to pamper myself. I don't see a noticeable long-term difference, but it works to soften and moisturize my skin. Plus, it smells lovely!

I really like using this product about twice a week to keep breakouts under control. I think this is a great mask for all skintypes, but it's definitely most effective for acne-prone skin. The results can be seen almost immediately the next morning.

It smells AWFUL. Like onion dip? I only leave it on for about five minutes because that's all I can stand. After, the smell doesn't linger on your skin as long as you wash it off completely. The smell doesn't deter me from buying this product almost every trip I make to Lush.

As I near my late 20s, I'm looking for products to preserve my skin for as long as it can hold out. Skin care from an early start is super important! I found this face mask and on a whim decided to give it a shot. Best. Decision. Ever. After I apply it, I do some minor chores before I wash it off. The results are instantaneous, silky smooth skin. I am preaching this to everyone I know.

The smell is not that bad, just very "garden-y". In other words, tolerable.

Finally, I LOVE that it expires soon because it is a good indication that it is all-natural and not packed with gross chemicals that does more harm than good.

I loved how this product made my skin feel! I don't have mature skin but I heard that this product was very good for dry skin. I have very dry, thirsty, and sensitive skin. After washing this mask off my skin felt very happy, balanced, and soothed. I caught a glimpse of myself hours later and my skin was practically glowing! The only downside is the smell. I'm pretty sensitive to smells so I can't wear this mask for very long or it will give me a headache. Overall very strongly recommend!

This mask is so good. This is best for Normal and dry skin. Its not greasy, Very Softening, Tightening and smells so good. I will use this product daily and this is my part of daily skin routine.

I gave The Sacred Truth a go because my local LUSH was out of Cosmetic Warrior. The sales associate recommended it based on my combination breakout-prone skin.

To be fair, it feels nice when it's on my skin. It goes on very smooth and it feels like it forms a moisturizing seal. But the smell is horrible - as soon as I made the mental association between the mask's scent and a zoo or a barnyard, it's been difficult to get through the rest of the pot. Then, when I try to wash it off, my fingers glide over my skin as though the mask left behind a layer of wax. It undoes my cleanser's "clean" feeling.

This product is not for me. I'm glad that I got it for free because I would be tempted to ask for a refund otherwise.

I love this mask. I can't really think about anything I don't like about it except its expiration date, which I suppose can't be helped. I love the smell, I love the way it makes skin smooth, supple, comfortably taut (I can definitely see why this is considered an anti-aging mask), and glowy. Although it's marketing to older women, I think this is great for all ages. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin, and Oatifix often broke me out and left me feeling greasy. With The Sacred Truth, I never have a complaint.
