Crumbled the whole thing in the bath and then refused to get out for 2 hours. It smells just as I remembered. Sex in the woods, pure and simple. If you love woody androgynous scents with a tiny spark of girliness in the background then this one is for you. Total Bliss for this long time customer. I grabbed a bar of waylander soap to assist in the indulgence and my skin feels soft and smells like heaven. THIS is the lush I unsed to love. Bring back Bathos too!

Bubbles last 20 minutes or more... Definitely long enough to enjoy a bath. The scent is wonderful and relaxing.

Oh my, was this a nice surprise! I bought it on a whim and thought I'd give it a try, and good lord, did it inspire a lovely bath. First off, the bubble bar I got must have been very fresh because it was silky when I smooshed it under the running water. I was interested because everyone said the smell was particularly "manly." This is true. It smells like a man...or rather how I'd like a man to smell. Like a well-dressed gentleman. The smell isn't overwhelming either, it's just gloriously different, and I'd like to point out that I'm not a fan of coffee! The only downside if the coffee grounds, but nothing a quick rinse can't take care of. Definitely a new favorite.

This one gets a mixed, but mostly negative review. The scent was pleasant, very nice, non-floral without any patchouli or sandalwood. For that, it gets a solid B.

The bubbles were on the so-so side, so they get a middle C.

The rest of the experience ranged from D to F.
The water was the icky color of dirty dish water. And it was filled with gritty coffee grounds. So the bath felt like bathing in a sink after doing the breakfast dishes. Not a great experience - Yuck!

This is the only Lush bubble bar I've tried that left such an unpleasant residue on both my skin and the tub. I'm not bothered by glitter, or flower petals - those come off with the body with a brisk toweling and out of the tub with a quick wipe. This stuff was sloughing off my body like dead skin and required going over the tub three times. Again - yuck! My hubby had to shower after the bath to remove the coffee grounds and itchy residue from his skin.

Sadly, this failed as a non-feminine bubble bar for a shared bath. Bummer.

I bought this and used in the tub this morn, I love it! This bar smells so good and has lasted all day long, not only that but I shaved my legs without having to use any shaving gel. It made me so soft and smooth feeling! The only down side that I found is that the coffee grounds sink to the bottom of the tub and are a little weird to sit on. :( But all in all I would totally recommand this to anyone. :)

both my boyfriend and i love this bubble bar. my boyfriend said it smells like a barber shop, and that's a perfect way to describe it. it's kind of a clean, masculine scent, but i enjoyed it because it smelled like a sexy man. :)

some people complain that sitting on the coffee grounds is uncomfortable, but i think they're either extremely sensitive or maybe they got some really big coffee granules, because i can't feel them at all when they're in the tub.

I was intrigued by the product and bought it. What a strange product. The darker half smelled like old dirt with no plant-friendly nutrients left in it, combined with dust. Even though the darker half smelled bad, the smell quickly disappeared. The lighter half didn't smell like anything. There were no bubbles at all.

I got this for my boyfriend so he could have his own lush experience (after making fun of me for mine :P)
The bar was easy to crumble and everything the the ig downside was the coffee grounds. His first complaint is because it instantly sinks to the bottom it became very uncomfortable to sit in the bath. Then at the end of the bath it left quite a mess. I think if they got rid of the coffee grounds it would be perfect. On the plus side the scent lasted for 2 or 3 days and it was HEAVEN.

This is the unsung hero of the bubble bar line. The smell is to die for, masculine and feminine, really enigmatic. It smells like smoking a cigar while drinking coffee in a library on an old leather couch with a spray of gardenias on the end table...so I guess that has to be your thing! Most importantly, something about this formula makes my skin so happy while most of the more popular bubble bars (e.g. the comforter) make me itchy and dry. And maybe it's just because I have a textured tub bottom already but I've never noticed the coffee grounds. The Wuss is a winner.

As many of the reviewers shared, there weren't many bubbles and the coffee grounds made for an uncomfortable tub. Ouch!

I liked the scent, but will stick to Smaragadine or Tramp, which aren't much different from The Wuss at all, save for the messy coffee grounds and the lack of lots of bubbles.

This bubble bar is like putting on a sweatshirt jacket your new boyfriend left in your car. You slip it on and you can smell his cologne as it mixes with your perfume. I would recommend this bar for cool nights in October right as the chill of fall is starting to set in. Like flannel shirts and coffee- warm and welcoming, this bar is great.

I used about half a bar (cut lengthwise to include both colors) and was very pleased. The scent doesn't seem that strong at first but really lingers throughout the day. The black bits were a bit of a hassle, but not so much so that I wouldn't buy one again.

The wuss is the perfect scent for men and women. The boyfriend and I both love the warm, rich, and comforting scent. Pipe tobacco, the pages of old books, expensive cologne, and a general air of gentleman-liness combine with something soft and herbal/floral (the gardenia extract, I'm guessing) to melt all my troubles away and leave me feeling soft and sexy. I'm usually pretty quick in the bath (the steam gives me headaches) but I couldn't bear to leave the wuss behind until the water turned cold! We broke ours into three pieces but I wound up using a full half of the bar in the end because I wanted more bubbles. Using the full bar would have been super overwhelming, so I would suggest just starting with a third and adding more as you see fit.

The cognac fragrance with a background of coffee and a hint of something else, maybe pipe tobacco - it is opulence in a bath. I am a Candy Fluff / Snow Fairy / Think Pink sweet smell person, but oh no, here is another product that I have to have. The coffee grounds were miniscule, I barely felt them. "The Wuss" leaves the skin nice & silky. My new favorite.

I've never even written a review before but The Wuss demands attention. This is my new favorite Lush product. EVER. The smell is sultry and intoxicating and left my skin sooooo silky. The bubbles were overflowing out of the tub. I could have stayed in for HOURS. I cannot wait to find a hot boy to share this one with.

After reading the description of this bar online, I knew I had to try it. When my order arrived, I was immediately taken with the smell, and couldn't stop thinking about it! When I used it in the bath, the whole room filled with the most amazing smell! It reminds me of really great aftershave, flannel shirts, and old libraries. It's beyond fantastic--I need to order ten more!

First bought it just because it sounded so strange that I had to find out for myself. However, this bb is great! Smells of coffee and pipe tobacco with a touch of sexy leather.. Strange and wonderful. Quite enigmatic sexy and un-girly!

I like the fresh clean smell of this bar. It is refreshing , yet relaxing. It smells like a cross between a good-smelling mens cologne and a warm spring day. This bar make me feel clean and soft.
I do like to sock this one in a nylon stocking to avoid the coffee grounds. I even get more bubbles this way! It might be better if the coffee grounds were ground into a powder!!

The Wuss smells divine. The cognac and coffee smells are nicely balanced by a rich, earthy, mossy smell. I love the "masculine" smell, but sometimes I combo it with half a Ne Worry Pas to add some citrus and balance it out.

i like this...it kinda smells like chocolate, and woodsy oakmoss or something. the coffee grounds did not bug me or my husband...i liked it...very odd smell, and that is why it was cool! will buy again..i already bought 2!
