I have recently discovered a new perfume that is way out of my price range that I LOVE, but it doesn't last nearly as long as this and costs twice as much for a very similar scent family. I got this in a sample pack of the Gorilla perfumes about 2 years ago and then over the holidays the store had it on sale and I was afraid that it would be discontinued, so I grabbed one. And I am so glad I did I had forgotten how much I love it!

Tuca Tuca isn't just a cute Pink Martini song. It's so hard to find violet scented things that aren't tainted with gross powdery grandmother scents--what I love about Tuca Tuca is its mild crowd-pleasing sandalwood and vanilla supports a true violet scent--like those violet mints you can buy! Ah, I love it so much... rumors that it will be discontinued have sent me into a panicking tailspin. No! I must have it!

(P.S. I found Tuca Tuca because I was looking for something like Balenciaga Paris / Balenciaga Paris L'Essence. It is very similar, although not as typical-complicated-French-perfumey; if you're looking for that kind of a complex everyday scent, this alone isn't it--but I layer it with the old Miss Dior Cherie for a perfect blend, and I'd suggest it to any perfumenik looking to so add violet to their repertoire)

This smells amazing! On me it smells a little powdery, with some musk, and a strong violet smell! It can be a little strong so in the morning i will dilute it with a little water

I was looking for a new go-to fragrance and had fallen in love with violet, so I knew I wanted something with violet. I was drawn in by the funny name, Tuca Tuca. Now I LOVE this perfume and wear it all the time, it's a fun and youthful scent that's not really overpowering. I get the 0.3 oz tube and it's great value for the money in that it's not horribly breakable like glass vials/bottles and I can fit in my purse and on airplanes.

Tuca Tuca is by far my favorite scent. I wear it every day and get complimented on it regularly. I use the perfume in the morning then follow up with the solid version mid-day.

I love this scent! I have been searching for a mature perfume for about a year now, and though I thought I found that with Mark Jacobs Daisy, I know I have found a keeper with Tuca Tuca. It's very floral and earthy; the vanilla isn't the "sweet" vanilla that one normally thinks of with perfumes. It's more of the smell I get when I open my bag of raw vanilla beans and take a whiff--that hint of deep pure vanilla.

I use the product every day, smearing a little on my wrists, right below my inner elbow, on my neck right behind my ear, and (when I'm feeling a little flirty) right at the start of my cleavage.

This perfume is long-lasting and I love taking a whiff of my arm throughout my day at work---almost like aroma therapy, to take me to a happy "I found my scent" place.

My fiance, who never notices (or tells me) when I smell nice, has told me twice today that I smell good. If a tough cookie like him likes it, I know for a fact that I've found a winner!

When I smelled this when it arrived, I was very unsure and continued shopping. It began to change and blend. I paid for my LUSH and walked out in the mall, continued to smell the violets. I returned to LUSH and purchased the Tuca Tuca 4 ounce Stick and the 0.3 ml bottle. I can't tell you the compliments I get in many different places. The smell of violets is a wonderful fresh scent.

I got the solid perfume for my birthday this year, the scent is wonderful. It is hard to describe, it almost has a musk scent, floral, and a little vanilla.

What I do not like about this is the solid perfume container. When I got this it reeled all the way up, and wont go down. The cap is still floating above my S perfume, all because of a light touch. The solid perfume is wonderful, but next time I'll go with a Lush oil perfume. Thank-you Lush, for making everyday a good day. - Katie

this is a beautiful and unique perfume. i get compliments on it everywhere i go, and people are constantly asking "what IS that?" they always want to know who makes it and where they can get it. i love tuca tuca because it's floral, but also has a really soft, subtle warmth to it. it's original, and doesn't smell like everything else on the market, so it takes people by surprise because it's not just another fragrance they smell on everyone else while walking down the street. i wear karma and lust when i'm feeling more earthy, but tuca tuca will be my signature scent as long as it is sold.

A friend of mine was recently working outside the New Orleans store on a film shoot and had some extra time, so she wandered into LUSH and found the TucaTuca solid perfume. She liked it in the store and bought one, but when she wore it out to the pub that night it smelled like cheap, sour, old-lady perfume.
As a huge fan of violet, and someone who used to work in a custom perfumery, I wanted to see how it worked with my chemistry, and everyone was amazed at how different it smelled on me. Our friends at the bar decided to smear some on to give it a whirl and on everyone it smelled distinctly different.
On me, it's a delicate but very base-note-y floral with an almost sweet thread running through it that makes you want to keep coming back to smell more. It's really a very sensual, exotic, rare, and delightful perfume.

On one friend it smelled exactly like you just walked into a LUSH boutique. On another one it all but disappeared into a slight kind of old floral dusting powder scent. And on the girl who bought it, it smelled like she should be wearing a floral housecoat and curlers and shuffling around to feed her 20 cats.
Luckily, it smelled the best on me and she gave me the sold perfume. I can wear it anywhere, from the office to the pub, and get compliments whenever anyone gets close enough to smell it. That's what I like about the solid perfumes--their scent is unique with your chemistry and if you dont over-apply they're not overpowering so you're not choking everyone within 10 feet of you.
I recommend this to people who like violet and aren't scared of a scent that's truly unique, but definitely get a sample or give it a test-run on your skin at a LUSH boutique before you buy the full-size.

I love smelling good, and am very picky about what works for me. I discovered Tuca Tuca quite by accident as I was not even planning on going into the LUSH store, but another store was out of my favorite scent so I wandered into nearby LUSH. Out of all the gorilla perfumes, this one reached out and grabbed me. I use both spray and stick and the scent of violets, black pepper (yes!) and a hint of vanilla envelops me all day. This is absolutely intoxicating! I have never been so affected by a scent as I have by this one and don't know if I can ever wear another one again. Tuca Tuca is kicky, sexy, fresh and fun. Please do not ever discontinue!

I love Lush and always will, but this is the first product that I was not impressed with. I ordered the Gorilla scent sampler (which is a great idea!) and liked almost all but the Tuca Tuca.

I found it to have an almost Cinnamon-like scent. VERY strong. My co-workers even commented on how offensive it was! :[

I'll stick with Vanillery, but my favorite was the limited edition Honey I Washed the Kids which I miss very much. PLEASE bring it back! :)

this is now my signature scent. this smell is absolutely perfect. it has perfectly combined layers that expose themselves throughout the day. this scent is the day he proposed. its the warm summer air on the beach. its explosive, but calm. its the flowers growing like fire on the coast of the atlantic. its saying goodbye and boarding the plane. its love, plain and simple. i will wear this as long as they make it, and it will always take me back to that day.

I love the smell of violets and was quite excited about this one until I received it. If you loved Gratuitous Violets, you will be disappointed with Tuca Tuca. It smells too sweet, like candy, which does not evoke a natural violet smell. It's hard to get a good violet scent into a perfume and, unfortunately, Tuca Tuca fell flat. [...] the only name tag is the paper thing that is placed over the spray head which is annoying when you're trying to use the product [...], the spray head does not give a covering spray so if you spray-delay-and-walk-away you will have a hard time getting it to distribute among your person. I will not purchase this product again.

I HATED the smell of the Tuca Tuca massage bar, but I got a sample size of this in the 7-vial trial pack. It's wonderful!

I took off one star because it smells exactly like Daddy-O shampoo, so it isn't the most original Lush perfume.

It starts out very violet-y, and then blends with my skin to smell like a faintly floral vanilla cake, very warm and pretty.

I ordered the smallest quantity of this scent because I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I am always on the lookout for a new fragrance. I was apprehensive at first because the description made me think it was going to be a heavy floral fragrance. I was pleasantly surprised!! I don't know how to describe it except to say that it's spicy and unique. Unlike anything else I've ever used. I LOVE IT! It's perfect for fall. I will definitely be ordering the largest size.

I like putting this perfume on for anything from going to school, to going to work, to going out at night.
I love the violet smell, although it is a bit musky, I can't stop smelling it! It can get a bit strong and overwhelmingly sweet, but I really do like it and it settles down into a nice smoky violet basenote. I've been told that this perfume smells like hippies, and living in Berkeley, I feel like it is rather appropriate.
It smells sweet enough to eat, and sensual enough to seduce. I liked it so much, I bought two bottles so I can have it forever! Or for a very long time. :-D

I'm a dedicated "Lushie" and just had to try the new Tuca Tuca scent. To my deep delight, it smells very akin to Bathos bubblebar, which is such a lovely scent of it's own and you don't come across violet-based perfumes very often. I LOVE the new Tuca Tuca, Lush! Please expand the product line!

This stuff smells like violet candy, it is delicious! My husband said I smelled fantastic this morning and I got an extra kiss on my way out the door. I LOVE this stuff! Well, Lush redeemed itself somewhat for no longer having my beloved American Cream with Tuca Tuca. OK, so I will always be a Lush junkie and I bought it in my Pittsburgh store the day after it was released (I was off on Monday, Labor Day). I honestly LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Violet fragrance! I adore violets and it is almost impossible to find any fragrance where it is the main note! Tuca Tuca is sweet, yet is a deep fregrance that has many layers and just smells better and better as it wears on. I think the Vanialla and the Ylang Ylang has something to do with it's sexiness and I can truly say I cannot wait to get home and the Fiancee smells it! I will be in troubled, in a good way!!!! I adore it and I can tell you that I will be buying more!
