I love the smell of Tuca Tuca, it smells like an exceptionally memorable party; sweet and smoky and somewhat wistful. Unfortunately, it doesn't jive with my own natural chemistry, I think it may be the vanilla notes. Luckily enough it works well with the people around me, so for housemates it makes a great gift. I find it lasts all day but changes as people heat up.

I never rate perfumes on first sniff, so I tried this perfume several times before coming to my conclusion. It doesn't work for me, the sandalwood seems to drown out everything on me, and the sweet notes smell artificial. I couldn't smell any vanilla, which I was hoping would smooth out some of the wood notes. I love violet scent, but again could not smell it on me.

When I smelled Tuca Tuca at Lush, I fell in love. It was light and sweet, with a woody undertone and floral base. What not to love, right? Wrong. After I bought it and put it on, it sort of smelled like melted plastic and old soggy wood. I guess it just didn't go well with my natural scent. After a few days of sitting on my shelf, it became chunky mush. Does that happen with all Tuca Tuca solid perfumes? Anyways, i gave it another try. That was a HUGE mistake! My co-workers and pretty much everyone I encountered hated it! They said it was overpowering and weirdly medicinal. Only about two or three people said it smelled great. Also, it lasts only an hour or two. All in all, a disappointing purchase. As a usual Lush lover, I am sorry to say that I won't be purchasing this ever again.

I was very skeptical when I purchased this today at LUSH. I'm normally a designer fragrance kind of gal. I thought this smelled nice, so I picked it up. The price was next to nothing, it smells AMAZING, and it's all natural. What more could you ask for? On me it smells very herbal with a slightly sweet floral undertone. I'm absolutely in love and so glad I picked this up.

mmm I just went to the store for this because I was afraid it would melt! (read: it will) anyway, I put a bunch of different samples on and this one just smelled so....good! I waited a few minutes because people said it changes, but I really love the scent. As I was walking around the store I kept smelling it on me. :)

When I first smelled this after purchasing online, I was a little worried. I thought it smelled like a vanilla ash tray. Before I got bummed out, I tried it on my arm and then waited for about a minute. When I smelled my arm I was shocked because it smelled great! Very sexy and sweet- just like the description. If you like sandalwood then you will love this. It has become my favorite perfume. Infact, I ditched all my old perfumes because in comparison, they smell very synthetic and sickening.

I bought this for my 14 year old daughter but I think the earthy, Jasmin notes were too adult for her, but they were perfect for me! I want to cover myself in it and smell myself all day long!

I love perfume, but I get headaches easily and usually have to avoid it. This solid perfume is light enough to not bother my head and smells great. It isn't super long-lasting, but since it's a solid you could easily carry it in your bag and re-apply as desired.

I expected a more vanilla, violet smell but it is all sandalwood. The smell is not bad and I like it but just wish it wasn't all sandalwood. It also doesn't last long. It's great for about 2 hrs.

When I first smelled Tuca Tuca it was very sweet, almost like cotton candy. Once it was on my wrists it evolved into a dark floral, cedar smell. I am a man that likes floral scents and this does not come off as too feminine. I would not bring this out and about with you in hot weather.

This is a really great perfume to use every day. I keep it in my purse, so I can use it after I go to the gym. I love that it wears really well; at first, it smells earthy with more of the sandalwood, but as the day goes on, it gets sweeter. It's a really lovely scent.

I'd been looking for a violet scent to wear for years. I love the combination of scent- on me it alternates between floral and woody. I've worn it dressed to work, dressed as a Vulcan and dressed as an Elf... it fits all occasions.

I ordered this on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised by the smell! It is so interesting that I cannot give an accurate description. I use this everyday. I get a headache from a lot of scents, and I just cannot get enough of this! The solid perfumes are amazing! I will never go back to the spray. It makes it very easy to adjust the scent. I can reaply it often or I can let it wear all day depending on my mood. The only negative thing about solid perfume is that it melts... I left it in my purse on a hot day and it melted into the cap. I can still use it, and I take full blame for being absent minded enough to not take it out of my purse. Over all LOVE it!!!

I love violet--the color, the flower, and the perfume. I was so happy that the salesperson at Lush referred me to this scent (I purchased the solid version, which is wonderful for carrying along) when I asked about violet-scented products. It adds a earthy side to the violet scent that is quite sensual.

Love it! I really enjoy this unique scent. It subtley evolves throughout the day. Smells too sweet in the tube, but once you put it on it smells much earthier. I like to mix this smell with Vanillary for daily use.

I have the spritzer version of Tuca Tuca. The scent is very strong at first, but it fades into a wonderful aroma of a heady flower garden on a hot, humid, summer day. I actually feel sexy wearing this perfume and my husband (a minimalist guy) loves the scent on me. Inhaling Tuca Tuca scent is a midwinter burst of joy for me.

When i smelled this perfume in the store i didn't understand what made me like it. there are so many notes to tuca tuca and they work together in a way that makes me love the scent! the violet and sandlewood can be a tiny bit intense at first but the vanilla rounds the scent out in a really pleasant way.

I really didn't like this at first when I tried it in the store; it seemed a bit strong but later when the scent mellowed out, I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist! I'll be getting this the next time I order.
