Q:The description says this is a "buttery rose-scented shower smoothie." Does "buttery" refer to the scene or the feel? And, if it's the scent, how buttery is it?
...I'm basically asking if this smells like rose cake.Asked on 4/20/2015 by Annabelle the Cannibal from Atlanta, GA
A:The "buttery" description, I would say, mostly refers to the texture of the product, which has a type of whipped butter feel. The scent is very true to genuine rose, so if you like the smell of roses you will love Turkish Delight!Answered on 4/21/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Does this work okay for leg shaving?Asked on 1/6/2015 by Hannah from Madison, WI
A:Hi there! Thanks for your question!
It is a moisturizer, I personally would recommend using d'fluff shaving cream which has Rose Oil, Cocoa butter, Fresh strawberries, Coconut Oil, Sweet wild orange oil, Organic Maple sugar, and Fair Trade Vanilla absolute! All for a smooth silky shave and hydrated skin!Answered on 1/13/2015 by Anonymous
A:Yes. This can be used to shave. I do it. It's really smooth and it feels
like a conditioner. And smells so good too.Answered on 1/6/2015 by Anonymous
Q:How long does this last? like before going bad?Asked on 7/12/2014 by sal
A:Turkish Delight is good for 14 months from the date that it was made. There will be a sticker on your pot with the person who made it, the date it was made and the use by date on it.Answered on 9/8/2014 by Anonymous
Q:How does it polish your skin?Asked on 9/24/2013 by jinnie
A:Turkish Delight is our most luxurious shower smoothie, moisturizing and smoothing the skin with cocoa butter, almond oil, and coconut oil. Just use it as you would a shower gel!Answered on 9/24/2013 by Brandy from LUSH
A:I suggest exfoliating prior to using the turkish delight. Not necessary but
helps achieve a smoother finish. Create a lather by rubbing it between your
hands then apply it to your skin... it'll feel super soft. When you wash it
off it'll lose it's lather but once you've dried off, you'll feel the
smooth finish. Follow by applying the dream cream. Omg, it's the best
combo! You're bathroom will smell good too. :)Answered on 9/24/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Would this make a good face wash?Asked on 6/17/2013 by Sherry from Houston, TX
A:Turkish Delight was designed and intended for use on the body and has not been tested as a facial cleanser so we wouldn't recommend using it on your face. If you are looking for something that polishes the skin and has rose in it, you could try the Angels on Bareskin cleanser!Answered on 9/25/2013 by Anonymous
Q:What is the difference in Turkish Delight & Ro's Argan?Asked on 5/23/2013 by Lush lover from Indiana
A:Turkish Delight is a shower smoothie, so is meant to be used as a cleanser in the shower. Plus, it has a sharper, more floral rose scent to it. Ro's Argan is a body conditioner, so it's meant to be used in addition to a cleanser, as the final step in your body cleansing routine. You gently rinse it off so that it continues to condition your skin once you've gotten out and have gently patted your skin dry. Ro's Argan also has a softer rose scent to it.Answered on 10/1/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I've only used Ro's Argan, which is a body conditioner (use after soaping & exfoliating, and then rinse off). This is a shower smoothie, which is a soap. I don't know if I can put this on my loofah, so I don't think I'd get this.Answered on 9/15/2013 by Anvita from Bay Area, CA
Q:Do you use soap first then Turkish Delight or just Turkish Delight?Asked on 1/21/2013 by Anonymous
A:Turkish Delight does have cleansing properties, however, it is very mild and gentle so it really depends on your own preference. Some people people choose to use it on its own as a cleanser, while others prefer to start with a soap and then follow up with Turkish Delight as a body polish. The choice is yours!Answered on 8/21/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
