I never used to wash my face at night, but now I refuse to go to bed without an ultrabalm cleanse :) It's a great makeup remover, as well as very cleansing for my pores and leaves an amazing moisturized feeling on my face! It's nice, too, because its EASY - I keep mine next to my bed with a towel to wipe off the excess. Now, I walk around with a sample size container in my purse in case I need it.

I bought the small one, but now I'm regretting not buying the big one and next time I will definitely buy big!

Ultrabland gave me a brand new face! I tried Ultrabland for the first time this past winter when my skin was red and had flaky patches (as it always does in the winter), and more dry and sensitive as it is the rest of the year.

...I cannot believe these were issues I ever faced when I look at my skin now. Ultrabland COMPLETELY changed the texture and tone of my skin-leaving it softer, smoother, less prone to flakiness, and without any of the redness I'd been used to caking on makeup in an attempt to cover up-amazing! Ultrabland also removes absolutely everything from your skin, even if you're not wearing any makeup, and leaves a layer of moisture that helps my previously always-dry skin much more moisturized.

PROS: Balancing, moisturizing, deep-cleaning, good for all skin types, great make-up remover

CONS: The only 'con' to Ultrabland is that it takes a bit of effort to get off, as it's a very oily cleanser. A wet washcloth or cotton rounds are great, but combining with one of Lush's toners works even better and is the fastest way to get rid of Ultrabland in one step.

I tried this after a friend that works at a Lush store suggested it. My sensitive skin is also combination and in the winter, it gets really flaky and I was at my wit's end trying to find something to combat the flakiness. I thought it was going to be greasy and make me break out so I took the sample but I didn't use it for a while. One day my flaky skin was so bad it had started to crack, so I decided to try it out. I used it once and noticed a difference immediately, but after a week, I was simply amazed at the difference I saw in my skin. I continued to use it at night with Angels on Bare Skin in the morning, but now? I use Ultrabland as my only cleanser and I could not be happier. I may begin using Angels again in the summer when the humidity really ramps up, but I will never, ever, EVER stop using Ultrabland.

I'm somewhat new to using makeup, and while LUSH's makeup does come off without too much trouble during a shower, I wanted a way to remove it more easily and quickly. I knew about cold cream and makeup removal wipes, but I've come to love and trust LUSH so much that I decided to get myself some Ultrabland instead.

I'm glad I did! My original intention was to use it strictly for makeup, but I wound up liking Ultrabland so much that I've started using it in place of my previous clensers. It feels greasy while it's on, but it comes off easily (I just use a washcloth soaked in warm water) and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft and smooth. I follow up with Breath of Fresh Air toner water and Imperialis moisturizer. I've got combination skin, and these products together provide a balance I've never had before. The only downside is that Ultrabland smells a little strange (it makes me think of yogurt that's ever-so-slightly off), but it's not nearly bad enough to upset me, and the scent doesn't stay on the skin anyway.

I'm so happy I got the larger pot, and I'm tempted to get a small one so that one can stay home and the other can go in my purse just in case I ever need a quick cleaning when I'm out and about. Ultrabland is now firmly in the "must haves" section of my LUSH list!

I love Ultrabland! I use it as a night time cleanser and it makes my skin so soft. It removes makeup great. Even mascara and eyeliner came off easy for me. I don't know about water proof makeup though since I don't use it. I have normal to dry skin that can be sensitive and it feels great to put on and feels great after taking it off. I massage it on to my dry face even all over my closed eyes and lips. Really helps with dry lips! I think the beeswax helps lock in moisture. It doesn't irritate my eyes at all and I have really dry sensitive eyes. After I massage it in my skin, I take a washcloth and run it under hot water then ring the excess water out. Then I lay it over my face to open up my pores a bit. Then I start wiping it off with the warm damp cloth. It leaves my skin very soft, clean, and not greasy at all. I could go without moisturizer but I spray toner on my face after wiping the Ultrabland off, let it dry a little then apply moisturizer on my damp skin. I haven't used the toner and cotton pad method because I think it is a waste of toner and Cotten pads. But the warm damp cloth method works great! Highly recommend Ultrabland and it lasts a long time. I bought the small pot to try it out at the end of February and I still have a lot left so a little goes a long way! Will be ordering a big pot soon! Try it! Oh and I love the smell! It has a light rose beeswax scent. I love to just open the jar and smell it!

I have combination, but mostly oily skin. I found that this product does not work well with oily skin, I used it at night and it seemed to break my face out within just 3 days of using it. I think it clogged my pores. I have very sensitive skin, however I would not recommend using on oily skin. Even though the sales associate insisted it would be fine...I am not sure she was correct.

I have typically shyed away from any cleanser that doesn't foam or wash off in the past, so I was a bit hesitant to give this a try. It took some getting used to, but I am so glad I gave this a chance, because it is working wonders on my skin. I have dry, acne-prone skin with large pores. Besides clearing up my skin and making it softer & smoother, this has also cleared the blackhead gunk out of the pore on my nose and made my pores appear smaller! This is the first product that has EVER done that. I like to apply the cream with my fingers and wipe it off with a wet paper towel. I'm a convert!

I know that all of these reviews say the same thing, but honestly it's all true. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I had pimples on my chin that I was struggling with for MONTHS and after 2 days of using ultra bland they were GONE. No bump, no redness, nothing! And I tried everything before! This will be the only cleanser I will ever buy.

Ok... So I seriously cannot say enough good things about this product. Ultrabland is like one of those hidden gems. I have been a Lushie for a long time now and have tried pretty much all Lush products. I would see the ultrabland and would always walk right past it. Then one day I thought I would just ask someone about it. I asked one of the sales girls and she just started raving about it. She gave me a sample to try it out.
Now I know a lot of people just put it straight to the skin. I have my own way of using it and it has just been the most amazing product I have ever used. So the way I use it is this-- first off I don't wear much eye makeup but if I do I just rub a little 9 to 5 cleanser over my eyes and wipe off any eye makeup. Next I wash my face with a scrub. My absolute favorite is Let the Good Times Roll. Sadly lush is discontinuing this amazing cleanser so I have stocked up a lot on it and put them in the freezer. When I'm all out of this cleanser I will go back to angels on bare skin. So I wash my face with either, and then I dry off my face and make sure it's completely dry. Next I take about a pea size or slightly larger of Ultrabland and massage into my clean skin for a couple minutes. I then let it set for a minute. Next I get a wash cloth and soak it in warm to hot water. I squeeze the cloth of excess water and then lightly wipe off the ultrabland.
My skin is SO SOFT and balanced and dewy looking afterwards. It looks like I got a really expensive facial. I also don't need ANY moisturizer. It leaves a beautiful light coating on my face so it's perfectly moisturized.
This stuff has cleared my skin as well. I was dealing with stubborn acne on the sides of my face and now after only a week of using this stuff, the acne is almost completely gone!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe it!!!! This stuff calms my skin and makes it feel just completely pampered. It has also dramatically reduced my pores!!!!
I completely recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with acne, uneven skin tone, etc. it's beautiful stuff. I do not have ONE complaint about this stuff. Just get it and you will see!!!!

I use this cleanser for removing my makeup! It is amazing. I love how I just smooth it over my face and wipe it off with a warm washcloth, and I can instantly see the makeup on the cloth. It is smooth and gentle and works so effectively! Even my eye makeup comes of so easily. I don't have to sit there and scrub at my face or splash water around to rinse it off. I LOVE this stuff!!! I just wish I had a Lush closer to me!

I shopped at Lush for the first time this weekend and bought this product. I was slightly skeptical and a little worried about the price, so I went with the smaller size. There is no way I could have been more impressed with this product. Not only does it moisturize my face perfectly without feeling oily or rubbery, but it completely removes ALL my make up. For years I have struggled with removing my sticky, waxy waterproof mascara, but this product gets it ALL off. And even better, it is so easy to use. If you can put on lotion, then you can take off all your makeup in 60 seconds. Definitely worth it.

I absolutely love this. It's pricey but definitely worth it! It cleared my acne within 2 days and my face is almost clear already! It removes my makeup and I can just see all the dirt from the day when I wipe it off. It doesn't smell good but that's because there's bees wax in it I believe & it's greasy because oil removes oil. I would recommend this to everyone with acne prone skin!

I bought this after reading reviews that it served as a good makeup remover as well as face wash. Well, those reviews are correct. Some people have stated that it is difficult to remove eye makeup, or just ineffective. I don't see how. I use all waterproof eyeliner and mascara. At night I put a small layer over all of my face, including eyes (regardless of whether or not I wore makeup that day), and spray some Tea Tree Toner on a cotton ball. I generally start with the eyes, then move on to other various parts of my face. It may take one cotton ball solely for my eyes, but it works! I use the second cotton ball on the rest of my face to make sure there's no more residue eye makeup as well as the general cleaning.

Yes, it does take getting used to as it feels like there's a film left behind in the beginning. I have super combination skin, leaning more towards oily with occasional to frequent breakouts, but I haven't broken out once since I started using this nightly. I've noticed a dramatic reduction in my pores and that my blackheads are now gone! As other reviewers have noted, just use some darn toner and it works beautifully.

Just bought this product 1 day ago and already in love with it. I, however, use it totally as a moisturizer (without wiping it off) because I love the feeling of it. I am one who does not want the moisturizer to sink into my skin so that I don't feel it, I want it to remain - and this one does! I don't wear any makeup so this works well for me.

My skin type: DRY, sensitive, acne prone

Why I bought it: I was going to buy the Angles on bare skin but when I went to purchase they didn't have it so I bought this as an alterative.

First thoughts: Smells good, leaves my face very soft & clean. But, its very thick and cant be taken off with just water, you HAVE to use a wash cloth.

Over all: This product does a good job at leaving my skin soft and clean but it does nothing for my acne and that would be my only down fall.

I bought this for my mom (in her 50s) for Christmas. She loved it so much that I had to buy it for myself (in my 20s). This product worked wonders for us. My mom has older, drier and aging skin, while my skin is sensitive but still (unfortunately) breaks out occassionally. I have never used a better make up remover in my life. It really is the perfect combo of make up remover, cleanser and moisturizer. My skin was makeup-free after one use, as well as felt and looked smoother, even and fresh. It was moisturizing enough for our drier skin, but tough enough for the pimples that I get on occassion

This is the best cleanser i have ever used. I wear a great deal of make up and its nice that at the end of the day i don't have to work hard to take it off.It IS greasy going on, but most make up removers are, and there is NO residue. So, its hardly a Con. Warm a small amount in your hands and work it all over, wipe gently off with a warm/hot washcloth. Done. Soft, clean, make up free. I recommend this to all of my friends!

If you're prone to blackheads, you should not be living without this product. Simply smear a dab all over your face, focusing on the spotty parts, and apply a little steam via your teakettle or a hot, damp washcloth. Steam as much as you can stand, and then wipe away the Ultra-Bland with your hot, damp washcloth. I'll buy you a cookie if you don't see immediate results. I do it once a week, and my skin has never been clearer.
