Luxurious, indulgent vanilla jasmine powder
Scent your skin with vanilla and leave it silky smooth, and softly fragranced. Inspired by rich, sumptuous desserts, Vanilla Puff dusting powder is a decadent extension of our popular range of Vanillary products. Each bottle has a real vanilla pod inside that slowly infuses its sweet fragrance as you use it. Talc keeps your skin smooth and vanilla absolute helps your skin retain moisture while jasmine and tonka help with softness and to give Vanilla Puff its delicious, vanilla pudding scent. For sophisticated fragrance layering – sprinkle some on before spritzing your favorite perfume, Vanillary of course.
- Layers of comfort: Vanilla and tonka make this fragrance what it is – a full on, comforting vanilla blend.
- Have dessert first: Finish yourself with a dusting of Vanilla Puff and you’ll be good enough to eat.
- Smooth finish: Talc is a naturally occurring mineral used to give make-up a smooth feel.

Would I put this powder on directly out of the shower, or would I put lotion on and then dust the powder on?
-ErikaAsked on 4/7/2015 by Erika from Santa California, CA
A:Hi! I put lotion on first. The dusting powder is just like any other body powder...in fact, I use one of LUSH's body conditioners (like Ro's Argan or Africa Paradise) in the shower and then I don't need lotion.

A:Whether or not you use a lotion first is entirely up to you, as both will work. Either way, just make sure you are completely dry before applying the dusting powder, or you might end up with a bit of a mess!Answered on 4/10/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I would make sure that you ate completely dry prior to applying this. You may out lotion on first, then make sure it dries completely before applyinh. If not, it could get a bit cake-y.Answered on 4/7/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Is this product sufficient for use as an under arm deodorant? Ive heard of someone doing this, but are there antibacterials in it? Anyone else use it as a deodorant? thanks.Asked on 1/11/2015 by SP from San Diego, CA
A:We would suggest layering Vanilla Puff with a deodorant like Aromaco, as Aromaco will give you the antibacterial properties and the Vanilla Puff will give you the gorgeous scent!Answered on 2/15/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I bought this as a gift, and my friend loved the smell and softness! However, I don't think it would be a good idea to use as a deodorant.

Q:Can I use this on my dog if he's a bit... whiffy?Asked on 4/18/2013 by AQ from Vancouver
A:While our products are based around natural products, we never test our products or ingredients on animals, so it's hard to say how they will react. We generally don't recommend using the products on your furry friends!Answered on 8/21/2013 by Anonymous
A:Vanilla Puff will make most ANYTHING smell heavenly, but Lush products are meant for use on people, not animals (no matter how cute / stinky).Answered on 4/18/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Is this the same powder that used to come in a short round can shape like a large tuna can?Asked on 10/15/2012 by Must Shop on Line
A:Yes, Vanilla Puff is the same one we used to carry in the round cardboard tub! The only difference is that now we put it into a recyclable bottle instead.Answered on 11/2/2012 by Megan from LUSH
Q:How long does the scent last? Does it last for 8 hours?Asked on 9/18/2012 by Vivian Darkbloom from Rosewood
A:I sprinkle this on my skin after I apply greasy feeling lotion or a massage bar, for me it lasts about 3-4 hours.Answered on 11/12/2014 by Rachel from Minnesota
A:The Vanilla Puff Powder is a more gentle scent than our perfumes, but most people do find that the scent does linger. How long it will last on any specific person's skin depends on a lot of factors, including skin condition and climate, but you should be able to enjoy the scent throughout the day!Answered on 10/25/2012 by Brandy from LUSH
Q:How Often Can You Normally Use This Product Without It Smelling TOo Strongly?
And Would You Be Able To Use This With A Perfume?Asked on 8/20/2012 by Confuzzled from Texas
A:Because this scent doesn't last all day for me, I pair it with my perfume to smell delicious all day long :)Answered on 11/12/2014 by Rachel from Minnesota
A:The Vanilla Puff Powder definitely has a lighter scent to it, but as for the amount of usage, it entirely depends on your personal preference as to what strength of scent you would like. The powders can definitely be used in combination with perfumes.Answered on 9/19/2012 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
