I first bought the solid because I adore vanilla and it was so inexpensive. I loved it so much I finally bought the bottle (and that's coming from a nongirly or crazy fan of perfumes).

I don't even know where begin with describing this...it's absolutely incredible! I've never smelled anything else like it. As some have mentioned it seems as if you must have the right chemistry for it. When I first put it on it smells very odd, sometimes much too strongly of jasmine or a bizarre burnt smell. But after a few minutes it fades into the background and the vanilla really comes out. While this is very much a vanilla scent, it isn't super sweet at all (I tend to despise sweet scents). The powder tone is really more smoky than anything else. With the subtle sweet tone, it blends with the jasmine and tonka to add a grown up, spicy kick to the vanilla. Not at all your teeny bopper candy sweet vanilla fragrance. This vanilla is smoky, dark, rich, delicious and sexy. A must try for vanilla lovers, preferably around 18 and up.

Also, I was finding that after a couple months of use my solid started to develop more of that funky beginning scent (it would still fade away) so I started to use something else to scrape a little bit out onto my skin rather than direct application. The only real difference I'm finding between the solid and liquid is that the liquid was longer lasting, stronger, and smokier. Love it.

I love this smell.. this is the only perfume i use however, the bottle itself for the 1 oz is horrible. The black comes off on everything!

I just got this today on a whim, and I'm normally not a fan of the perfumes at lush but I love this! It's a very light vanilla smell, but not teenage sweet. It blended really well with the Love Potion massage bar.

I love this scent! I use it after I shower. I like the fact that it's vanilla but it's not that sickening, juvenile smell like with victoria's secret scents. I'm 25 and I don't want to smell like I'm in high school. This scent is multi-tonal, deep and sophisticated! It works for anyone! My mom even wears it. My boyfriend loves the way it smells on me.

I love this scent, it's buttery and sweet and the smell stays the same, unlike some perfumes which fade to a different smell after a while. I wear this anywhere and everywhere and I get lots of comments.

I love this perfume, it's the perfect vanilla based blend. Not too sweet, but still has caramel undertones. The hint of jasmine makes it complex. It's a great day fragrance

This is my favorite perfume ever. I love vanilla scents and this one is perfect. It's not too sweet nor too floral. I like to dust Vanilla Puff dusting powder on my body and then a few sprays of Vanillary. Best ever!

Vanilla is a difficult thing for me to wear. If it's that synthetic sweet smell, it smells horrid on me. It made me really skeptical about putting it on.

However, it's not that "Car Deodorizer" smell at all. It really smells like you're in a field of vanilla and a breeze came up to tickle your nose with it. Not overpowering at all.

The great thing about this product is that you can layer it with a few other products and still have it smell the same.

Thank you Lush for reaffirming my love for vanilla. I knew someone would get it right!

WOW! I didn't think there was a way to make vanilla smell any better, but Lush did it. Adding the tonka and jasmine makes this irresistible and sexy to the MAX. Such a good buy! :)

I own the solid. I tried it 2 days in a row when visiting a LUSH store, and mentioned it to my husband who enjoyed the scent on me (smells a little different on everyone). He got it for me for my birthday the next week. The size is good for the price, but I still wish it was larger, hehe. It smells like vanilla, but very much mixed with other scents and spices so you DO NOT smell like a walking vanilla body spray teeny bopper. I think it reminds me of the Vanilla in the Mist soap or something, either way, LOVE IT.

Wow this scent goes on bold! First blast was a warm brown sugar. It's very yummy, but not in a sickeningly sweet way. After half an hour or so it softened up and became much more subtle, and the gentler vanilla became more prominent. It won't last the entire day at work, but it's a great comforting smell that will carry you through 4+ hours.

Once again I liked the simplicity of this perfume - I know exactly what I'll wear with it and when I'll wear it out.

I picked this one up in the set of samples, and it's a perfect addition for someone who is looking for a sweet non-floral scent that reminds you of decadent desserts.

I LOVE this perfume when I spray it on my clean skin. And the product deepens with a wonderfully warm, sweet, intoxicating Vanilla after 1-2 hours on my skin. I tend to like it more after it has reacted with my chemistry.

Oddly, when I layer this over Vanilla Dee-Lite lotion, which is supposed to be like the Vanilliary line, the initial smell of the two combined reminds my husband and I of urine. I know, weird, right??? I spoke to a rep at my local Lush, and he told me that some people have that reaction to Jasmine - but it is funny that it only happens on the initial spray, and only when I layer over the lotion. Hm.

After a few hours, even overnight, I wake with the most amazingly tempting smelling skin when I layer them, however...so this must be something with just my chemistry at first.

I'd like to try Lust sometime, and see if it really is Jasmine that I'm reacting to - especially since that is a main note in Lust. Either way, Vanilliary is a GREAT perfume when allowed to mix with your own chemistry. And as another reviewer said - don't mash or rub in the scent. Allow it to linger on your skin or hair naturally.

Tip: Spray on your pulse points right out of the shower on dry skin, awhile before you go out, to let the initial fragrance settle down and show its true warmth by the time you're ready to hit the town! You won't regret it!!! :)

Luckily it's still usable. I really like the caramel-vanilla scent of this fragrance. I would have given it five stars, but the solid fragrance, like many others, doesn't last as long as the spray perfume would have.

At first, I wasn't sure about the smell because of the first Notes (I believe it's Jasmine) but then, OMG! The warmth of the vanilla and the depth of the Tonka bean... Heaven!

I will SO buy this again!

I put some on behind my ears and my clothes don't rub it off during the day. It leaves a nice subtle smell when I move, and I like the fact that I'm not smelling it all the time, but still someone can smell it when they get close to me :)

i was so surprised when i put this scent on! i usually cant do vanillas, they instantly turn musky on me. this one is a lovely light, but strong and long lasting gorgeous smell. it has a coconut undertone and a warm buttery feel. it is a full sensory experience. every time i wear it i get compliments, and its a scent that my husband adores as well. tickled pink with this one!

I couldn't decide between this and LUST so I choose both. This is a more day time everyday pretty smelling "Oh you smell nice". But when the sun goes down and I'm on the prowl I turn to LUST which is more "I'm coming home with you!"
