I never wear or buy perfume. I honestly don't know what made me buy this one, but I am really happy I did. I love love love vanilla, and this perfume smells amazing (a little like sugar cookies). It's not overpowering. It doesn't give me a headache like most scented things do. Most importantly, I barely have to use any for it to work. Definitely worth the price. I will definitely be buying this again, even though I think it will take me a long time to run out.

I love this perfume. I've been able to use it throughout my pregnancy with no problems. It always smells great, isn't overpowering and compliments any occasion. This is the first perfume I have found that I enjoy using daily. It doesn't just smell like vanilla either. There's a strong note of jasmine it it that's both calming and pleasant to smell. Very nice.

Bought the solid perfume thinking I was splurging because of the price. Boy, was I wrong! Because it is solid and melts slowly, this lasts REALLY long. I have never gotten more compliments with any other scent. Also, for some reason regular "spray" perfumes don't hold on my skin, but I can feel Vanillary all day. The sultry, grown-up vanilla is a plus. It smells cozy but at the same time sets the mood. And what's more, the size means you can take it with you wherever you go! Thank you LUSH for the perfect scent!!

My MIL gifted this to me for my birthday and I absolutely love it. It literally lasts all day for me, I can smell my wrist at the end of the day and it is just as strong as before. I apply to my arms, a strip on top and a strip along the wrist/forearm, and then a tad bit to my neck. I dust Vanilla Puff over top, which may contribute to why it lasts all day. This may be the trick. I have found that it does slightly clump sometimes, and I have to rub it in a little before applying the Vanilla Puff.

This one is a keeper! Although I'm still warming up to the jasmine scent, it's a good combination overall! The jasmine does become a little overwhelming at points, especially after the first few uses. It's definitely something you'll want to use if you're going out for a while. I catch whiffs of it during the day even after several hours have passed! Not for everyday use, because it's definitely something that can easily become "too much". A little pricey, but good if you like warm, sweet scents.

I love this scent. I will buy this little stick of awesome until they stop making it. I've gotten a couple of the other LUSH scents, and this one is by far the most delectable. I've never been complimented on the other LUSH scents like I have this one. It's straight vanilla bean in the finest sense of the word. Many other places have a sickly-smelling vanilla that smells like sugar and candy. This is like their sophisticated big sister that's CEO of her own company. Only complaint is that the tube can get a bit messy - there's no way to retract the stick once pushed up without mashing it down when you put the cap back on, so I often end up applying it from the plastic threading on the side. Don't care - I love how it smells.

Bought this on my last visit to Lush after looking to replace a vanilla body spray I received as a gift but ran out of. As soon as I saw the Gorilla perfume display I picked up vanillary and loved the toffee and vanilla scent to it. This is my first time with solid perfume and liked the idea of applying it directly on my skin, but miss being able to put the scent in my hair. The scent is somewhat light and wears out in 2-3 hours causing me to put it on more often, making me worry I'm going to use up the perfume stick quick. Maybe next time I'll just buy the sprizzer but love the scent.

Every morning before I leave for school, work, or a date, I apply the vanillary perfume. It's absolutely amazing! At first I wasn't too wild about the solid perfume...solid perfume? Very unheard of. But now after using the solid stick, I much prefer it over a spritz perfume. Love this product and will definitely buy again!

I initially bought this and was extremely excited as when I initially smelled it in the shop, it was extremely vanilla, and very true vanilla at that. I really admire that essential oils were used in it, as I am a natural perfumer as well.

When I brought the stick home, the jasmine began to come out. I'm a dude. I'm not that much a fan of such a lunar, feminine scent as jasmine. Nonetheless, I found myself using it a lot. At $10 I'd rather use it and see if I could get to like it than try to return it (and I didn't much like the other scent combinations offhand...).

Also, the scent is very overpowering. It fades very quickly. The scent doesn't hold so I kept applying it throughout the days I'd wear it. Thanks to the cheap candelilla wax (I'd rather it have been beeswax or a different wax for a lighter result), the thicker you slather it on to try to get the scent to last even though initially overpowering, it stopped sinking into the skin and left a very greasy, nasty texture you could scrape off with your fingertips. On top of that is the vanilla pod remnants, which made my arms look dirty. I can understand why it was put in, but it didn't particularly work well with this product. Castor oil doesn't even need to be in this thing, either. Tonka and coumarin, might add a slight help, but they're not the best things to have on the skin.

If you're a vanilla fiend and happen to be male, you'd best look elsewhere. If you're a girl, it's probably a better idea to find a different vanilla- this one just comes off as too jasmine. And forget trying to smell orange's big sister, sexy neroli- you can't smell it at all.

My fiance said this perfume 'stinks, like it's spilled beer' and goes in the other direction every time I wear it, so I stopped. I've gotta agree. I still have a half-inch worth of product left but I don't know if I'm ever going to use it again. Probably not.

It really is a shame, considering I went nuts over the vanilla smell initially. I can't even smell the sandalwood or the tonka. The only time I smell the vanilla is a day later if I sniff my skin very closely.

Sorry, guys. I want to like this item. I really do. I just can't stand it for failing me repetitively. I might stick to my own blends.

I bought Breath of God about a month ago, and I liked it but it was a little too musky. The gals at the LUSH shop recomended I try it with Vanilliary. I love how they mingle, the Vanilla mellows Breath of God while Breath of God livens the vanilla up. It has a vanilla scent, but it is almost more cinnimony. I have a co-worker who gets migranes at the smell of vanilla, but vanillary doesn't bother her. It is the prefect winter scent combo.

Oh my goodness, I'm in love with this perfume! I first smelled it in the store and I highly recommend buying it this way. Once you smell it, especially if you love vanilla, you will have to buy it! I also wear it all the time.

It's a little bit greasy, so either put a little dusting powder over the top or use it sparingly in some areas where you're prone to breakouts. Also, when you're pushing it up, be careful or it'll get too much of it on the lid. Or you'll have a lot come up!

Other than that, I can't love this product enough! The smell is absolutely fabulous, both warm and comforting as well as very sensual. I just feel gorgeous whenever I wear it.
It also fits conveniently into your purse and I think it has a really cute look to the container.

The most fantastic part about it is that it's going to last me a really long time! Makes it 100%+ worth the price. I only need barely anything at the top to just dab it on, and then I only need a few smudges in the important spots to smell fantastic. It also lasts a lot longer than most spray perfumes I've gotten and is a lot more subtle and natural smelling.

All in all, please smell it and buy it! Totally worth your money :)

So I've had my Vanillary Solid Perfume for about 5 weeks now and I am in love! I bring it with me every where and may I add, the scent lasts forever! I get a ton of compliments every where I go. At first I bought this product for fun because it was reasonably priced and fun, but now I use it every day with my Silky Underwear Dusting Powder to soad up the oils and it lasts me at least 6 to 8 hours. It has replaced the large sprays in my purse and you can totally be suttle about putting it on! The packaging is perfect! It's definitely a must have in my artillery of prodcuts. Thanks again Lush!

I bought this on a whim because I was really eager to try out a Lush perfume and this seemed like a good choice for a good price. However, I wouldn't buy it again.

First, the positives. The price is great, the packaging is adorable. I love how it's easy to fit it into your makeup pouch, and I've always enjoyed Lush's signature black bottle. Also, it's great how you can actually see the little vanilla specks inside it.

Now, the negative. The smell. I was hoping for a warm vanilla scent that wasn't too sweet. To me, this smells like bathroom freshener or cheap candle, a chemical vanilla with an overpowering jasmine odor. Even when I wear it for a while, the scent doesn't soften at all.

Although I don't like this scent at all and wouldn't buy it again, if you do happen to like it, the price and the lasting power make it a very good deal.

I LOVE this product! This is one of the first LUSH product I purchased and I just can t stop using it (the solid one)
I usually change fragrance all the time because I get bored with my perfume. This gives me the opposite effect which means I can t put it down! I use a tube in a month and a half (told you, addicted! I even sniff my wrist secretely .. lol)
I just don t think I ll ever change scent now :) THe greatest thing about Vanillary, is that it smells different on everyone!

I'm not a perfume girl, but I wanted a light scent to wear for special occasions. I knew Lush had great smelling products so I figured the perfumes would be great, too. This solid perfume is subtle but strong enough to be noticeable. The vanilla is warm and spicy and my favorite scent. The tube is also a great way to apply the perfume and helps to not waste any of the scent via rubbing off on fingers or getting wasted in the application. This is my only scent and was my favorite of all of the scents I tried on at the store.

I was expecting this solid perfume to smell like vanilla, instead I paid [$] for a product that smells more earthy/oriental/spicy. The girl at lush almost convinced me to purchase a large spray bottle and I am so glad that I didn't. Do not spend your money on this product. There are several other Lush products that are worth the expense.

This is my first solid perfume ever and I bought it right when I first smelled it at the Lush store. I love anything that smells like vanilla and this one was a fitting smell for me. I get a headache for anything that smells too fruity or strong so that's why I opted for a solid perfume. The only con about this is that it does not last long throughout the day...maybe an hour or two and I can't notice the smell anymore. That's why I carry it with me everywhere so I reapply it a few times a day when I am going somewhere. It's best to apply it on your pulse points and behind the ears. That's where the scent will last longer. I don't know if I'll buy this again but maybe I will try the spray perfume next time. I'll tell you this much though... solid perfumes are great for people to take with them during their travels!

this came to me from a pen pal and what a sweet surprise. I feel like I'm standing in a room of fresh vanilla cakes and cookies when I wear this perfume. it goes on smooth and is easy to apply and you won't be able to stop sniffing yrself. I only wish that it lingered on the skin longer.
