Unfortunately, this product just didn't work for me. I love the smell (very strong lavender scent) but it was too harsh for my sensitive skin. I would not recommend it for true combination skin. I found that it was too greasy for my oily t-zone, but did nothing to moisturize my dry cheeks. I also found that it clogged my pores much more than other lotions I have use in the past.

My biggest problem with this product is that it made me break out more than I did without it. I know that it works well for many people, but if you have sensitive skin or combination skin, I would recommend asking for a sample before buying it (this product is is too expensive to just sit in a cupboard unused).

My skin is super sensitive and acne prone. It goes from being dry and flaky with red patches to greasy by mid-day. Any lotion I've tried has sat on my skin and made me feel grimy. My face tends to get really greasy with lotion, but without lotion my face feels itchy and tight.

Vanishing cream worked for me the second time around. I took two tiny dabs and rubbed it over my face. While it didn't seem like enough, my face didn't get dry and flaky. My skin drinks it all up and it's very soothing. This is literally the only lotion that my skin actually agrees with. I will never use anything else.

Vanishing cream has helped but not cured my acne. It soothes my skin and works wonderfully with aqua marina.

*Do not put too much of this stuff on, otherwise you'll feel and look like a total grease ball for most of the day!

*Lush needs to fix the container; the product leaks out every time I open and close it.

I have had ridiculously oily skin for ages and no moisturizers worked. My skin is always tighter and drier after the shower but goes to oily like 0-60. Everything I have used before seemed to sit on the surface, and make my skin greasy within an hour. My skin still gets greasy like usual, but the lotioning doesn't contribute to it anymore. I am buying this for life. I can put it on, then put on makeup later, and know I won't have a major oil slick on my hands. It's so great to have a moisturizer made for skin like mine. My skin hasn't cleared up (acne too) but this has not flared up my acne at all. Only advice- do not fly with this container! The altitude made mine leak all over my liquids bag. Bring a small travel container of it with you.

I love this product, and can't stop raving about it! I live in Montana where air is drier. Throughout the day my complexion gets oily and greasy, especially if I don't moisturize twice a day. Vanishing Cream makes my skin feel silky smooth, balances my skin tone, and helps prevent that greasy look. I will never buy another facial lotion again!

I'm very picky about the smell of my moisturizer. I've been using trial and error to find the perfect lush moisturizer, buying different ones, thinking I'll get used to the smell or that it will go away fast, but the two that I bought prior to this (Celestial and Cosmetic Lad) just wound up making me hate using them after a few weeks. Marshmallows and orange creamsicles were not good options for someone who hates sickly sweet smelling things.

However, I love the smell of Vanishing Cream! It smells herby and the smell fades quickly, but it's nice to not have to tolerate a bad odor for any amount of time... I have sensitive skin that seems to only like Lush products (my wallet isn't a fan, though) and haven't had any breakouts due to Vanishing Cream. It absorbs into my skin very quickly, leaving me feeling moisturized and fresh all day. A little bit goes a very long way, I've been using this product for over two months now, and it barely looks like I've made a dent in the container.

I have always had pretty oily skin, marked with slight red irritation marks on my cheeks. I live in humid and hot south Florida and as soon as I walk out of the house my face turns into an oil slick.

My boyfriend introduced me to LUSH for the first time a couple months ago. (All the women in his family love it. He loves the smells and so selfishly he took me there. I still can't stop thanking him.) My first trip I loaded up with soap and shampoo as well as a sample of Vanishing Cream. It was pricey so I didn't want to splurge right then. I tried it out for a couple days and drove myself to the closest LUSH (AN HOUR AWAY!) and bought it right away.

It smells great! Manages my skin's oil production and leaves my face softer than it has ever been. I use it in combination with Dark Angels or Ocean Salt as a scrub, or Fresh Farmacy or Coal Face as a soap. Dark Angels, Vanishing Cream and Tea Tree water make an EXCELLENT regimen for those of us with oily/combo faces. It's minimized my small pimples I get and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated but NOT GREASY.

A little goes a long, long way and it absorbs instantly. If you have any sort of oily issues, this is the moisturizer for you.

I have tried so many different moisturizers on my oily sensitive skin. They all claim to be "oil free" and the "best" product out there. WRONG! It was like my pores just soaked it up and became even oilier. THIS is the best product out there in my opinion. It's great after the Dark Angels cleanser and Tea Tree Water toner. Finally a moisturizer that doesn't leave me oily!

This is a perfect moisturizer for dry sensitive skin. My skin is dry but so many products have given me irritations... And I am glad that this one does not. The price may seem expensive but little goes a long way. It moistures just perfect (not to the extent that makes my skin greasy) and it keeps my skin very soft.

I am using it with Aqua Marina and BB Seaweed. I love this combo.

I was recommended this moisturizer to go with my routine of cleansing with Herbalism and using the toner Breath of Fresh air. I love it! It makes my skin so soft and it isn't greasy or oily. My only complaints are the smell isn't so great, but it isn't bad. Just kind of medical smelling. At [$] a jar it is a little pricey, but it can be made to last if you're careful. I'm definately making this a staple product.

I have extremely sensitive dry skin. So sensitive, I suffered from what seemed like a chemical burn from a previous product. My skin was pink and rough and burned like crazy. I tried the only lotion to never irritate my skin, but it just couldn't help out my face. I remembered trying lush's vanishing cream a year or so back, but couldn't bring myself to buy it (I'm pretty tight with my money, so [$] seemed like a lot). I tried it again recently in desperation, and am completely in love. I know that this product is intended for oily or ace-prone skin, but it worked wonders! The very next morning after applying my skin felt softer and hurt much less! After a week of using it my skin is almost perfect, and the few blemishes I had are gone! It leaves no greasy residue, but it completely hydrates my chapped skin. This product is definitely worth the money, and I would recommend it for every skin type.

I really wanted to like this, as it was my first Lush facial moisturizer. Unfortunately, I broke out badly within a day or so of first using Vanishing Cream. I sometimes get zits, usually the same time every month, but this was bad - and one was deep and painful. I didn't notice any other, positive, results. I did love the smell, though. I went back to the store and got a sample of Imperialis, and I have high hopes...!

This cream is good because unlike most moisturizers, this did not break me out like crazy. It even started to fade some of my spots which really pleased me because not only did it stop my acne, it also faded existing scarring, and nothing I tried ever faded them. The texture is very nice, not thick and hard to apply. The only things that I detest is the fact this is very pricey, and for the price the pot is only half filled. I know that nearly all products have a lot of packaging space than the actual product itself, but I was expecting at least 3/4 of the pot to be filled with moisturizer because this thing is [$]. Nonetheless, because it is a good product to calm out acne i will repurchase it but LUSH seriously needs to fill up their pots with products.

I will never use another moisturizer again. This is just enough moisture to keep me from being dry, but not so much that I get greasy and break out. Plus, it's great with my sensitive skin.

I have oily skin but with the coalface or ocean salt I use they soak up all that oil. I need something that is light to moisturize my skin that won't leave it greasy. I love this product it's a must have.

This moisturizer is wonderful. For those of you with very sensitive skin, this cream is the best. I usually break out like crazy whenever I start using new products, but not with this. My skin feels incredibly soft and my husband loves the smell. He always tells me how wonderful my face looks, feels and smells. Great product for the money and a little goes a long way.

What a WONDERFUL everyday moisturizer! This does not dry out my skin nor does it make it oily. I have a nice even feel after using it. My breakouts have completely disappeared after using this coupled with the Ocean Salt. This also lasts quite a while! A little goes a long way. Don't let the price scare you. After 2 weeks of using it twice daily (morning and night) it doesn't even look like I have used any of it at all.

I would say this product is effective, but it's a bit heavy and feels kinda greasy. My skin has improved. I switched directly from proactive to Lush skin care products, I expected a breakout from the adjustment but I haven't had one, though my skin feels greasier it's definitely improved. I use this product in combination with Coalface and the tea tree toner.

I have super oily skin and always have had to battle that on top of dealing with acne. I've always heard that moisrurizers are needed even if the skin is oily, BUT I never believed that...until I tried Vanishing Cream. It is an amazing product! It balances out my face and helps to clear up the acne and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin either. A little goes a long way and it absorbs very quickly. I even used it underneath sunscreen the other day and my skin felt perfectly fine, no extra oil or sticky feel. The only draw-back is that as a college student, it's a very expensive product and it's hard to justify buying 1.5oz for [$]. However, it works so well, I will be keeping it in my routine for as long as it's available at LUSH.

This moisturizer is perfect for my oily, acne prone skin. My skin feels so soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. I mix this with foundation to get the perfect consistency and also use it after I wash my face. Either way, it's perfection. The only downside (and reason why I gave 4 stars rather than 5) is because it's sooooo expensive. I know this stuff lasts for months, but [$] a pot is still steep for me.
