After cleansing and toning your face, put a dab on your fingertip and pat gently onto clean, slightly damp skin. A little bit goes a long way. Re-apply as often as needed.
Witch hazel cream to banish blemishes
We’re about to tell you something that might sound contradictory. If you have oily skin, you need to moisturize your face! It all comes down to skin care basics; if your face is oily, it’s compensating for something. Set things right with Vanishing Cream. Our lightest blend, Vanishing Cream contains balancing lavender absolute, pore-tightening witch hazel (which helps brilliantly with eliminating blemishes) and grape seed oil to soften. Use daily to balance oil production for even, clear skin.
- Light as a feather: If you have blemishes or oily skin, you could use a pot of our Vanishing Cream.
- Suffering from blemishes? Add a dab to Grease Lightning to your skincare routine.
- Moisture, without the residue: We blend shea butter into Vanishing Cream to lightly condition the skin, without leaving a heavy residue.

Q:I have combination-oily skin that is somewhat acne prone. I've been using the sea salt facial scrub, followed by the vanishing cream and in less than a week my face looks incredible. SOOO much clearer and softer than its been in years of using products filled with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
I recently added grease lightening to my regimen as a spot treatment. Is there a particular order I should use when applying these? Eg. Sea salt, grease lightening, THEN vanishing cream?Asked on 7/27/2014 by Mike from Ohio
Q:Why is this moisturizer so much more expensive than the rest?Asked on 6/26/2014 by Monica from NJ
Q:Is this product non comedogenic?Asked on 4/26/2014 by heather from ohio
A:All of our products are unique and use the finest, freshest ingredients that we can find. We find that everyone's skin is very individual, and ingredients that are perfect for one person's skin are not as effective for another. This means it's hard to say for sure that a specific product or combination of ingredients will or will not clog pores! It really does come down to how your specific skin will interact with the ingredients.Answered on 5/3/2014 by Anonymous
A:This product definitely does not clog pores, so I would say it's
noncomedogenic. I love this stuff--it feels so smooth and moisturizing,
yet still light. I can even put it around my eyes and eyelids. It's
become a staple in my skincare routine.Answered on 4/26/2014 by Anonymous
Q:hi.... what time can i use this moisturizer day or night????Asked on 1/14/2014 by lena from iraq
A:Vanishing Cream is an extremely lightweight, easily absorbed moisturizer that can be used both in the morning and at night.Answered on 3/8/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I usually use the vanishing cream at night. I tend to have oily skin so I only
Use a little during the day if my skin feels dry. Love this cream..I have searched everywhere for a cream like this--that'll moisturize, not leave an oily residue & help my breakouts!

Q:Hi, I've been cleaning my face daily with Ocean Salt then Dark Angels followed by the Vanishing Cream and finishing off with the Tea Tree Toner. My question is, will this do good to my skin? I can feel it getting healthier but my face now shows more of my acne scars and dark spots and I think it might be the order that I do things or the Vanishing Cream itself because I notice this after I apply it. What would be your suggestion?
P.S. I only do this process once a day and i've been doing it for a little over two weeks now.Asked on 1/7/2014 by Bruno from United States
A:The best facial routine starts with a cleanser, uses a toner next, and finishes with a moisturizer. If you're worried about scars and dark spots, a better option might be our Enzymion Moisturizer as it contains a number of fruit juices and these help with brightening your skin and reducing the appearance of scars and dark spots.Answered on 3/19/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I haven't used either of those cleansers, but if I were you I would use the toner before the moisturizer rather than after.

Q:Should i use this or Enzymion for my oily, acne-prone skin?Asked on 8/22/2013 by lushie17 from United States
A:Yes! Both the Vanishing cream and the Enzymion are great for oily, acne prone skin. I find the Enzymion that is made with the fresh lemon infusion along with the papaya juice really does help the skin in reducing the acne and oil. I would give the Enzymion a try!Answered on 9/25/2013 by Anonymous
Q:How many months does Vanishing Cream last you?Asked on 6/12/2013 by Michaela from Denver, Colorado
A:It really depends on how often you are using it and how much you are using each time, but Vanishing Cream goes a long way. You can definitely get a few months out of it at least!Answered on 10/2/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:A little goes a LONG way. I've been using just my sample of this awesome stuff for months and still have plenty left!Answered on 9/26/2013 by Glitterella from The Great Northwest

Q:Does this product have an expiration date?Asked on 4/21/2013 by Dee

Q:i have dry, sometimes flaky skin, with tons of acne. is this good to use or will it make my skin even drier?Asked on 11/23/2012 by Eva
A:Vanishing Cream is our best moisturizer for acne-prone skin! Not only does it contain witch hazel which is great for clearing up blemishes, it also has many hydrating and skin-balancing ingredients such as lavender honey and jojoba!Answered on 2/1/2013 by Anonymous
Q:can i put it in the refrigerator?????Asked on 7/30/2012 by newbie
A:You can keep it in the refrigerator if you would like to, but it isn't a necessary step! I really like keeping creams in the fridge during the summer, because applying them feels so soothing and cooling, but it's up to you! Even if they are being kept in the fridge, it is important to note their best-by date, and make sure that the products are used within that time (keeping them in the fridge will not extend their shelf life).Answered on 7/31/2012 by Laura from LUSH
Q:does this product remove acne scars? I heard that this product does but im not sure to believe what other people say.Asked on 6/27/2012 by Jordan from CA
A:While this moisturizer will help promote really bright, healthy skin, it will not be able to make acne scars disappear. Keeping skin in the best shape possible will help the skin look as healthy as possible, and using a moisturizer that works for your skin can help prevent future breakouts. Lots of people see really great results after using the Vanishing Cream. Q:Will this moisturizer clog my pores? I don't see anything saying it's non-comedogenic and I am very prone to break outs so I need to know before I can buy it.Asked on 3/20/2012 by Anonymous from Boulder, CO
A:I have really oily skin that is very prone to break-outs. This product is amazing and will not clog your pores whatsoever and I have been using this for about 4 months now. Hope this helps.Answered on 6/21/2012 by Newlywed from Boise, ID
A:The term "non-comedogenic" is not regulated in any way, so essentially anyone could use that term on any product and claim it won't clog pores, regardless of whether or not it actually does or doesn't. The Vanishing Cream is our lightest facial moisturizer, and has quite a low oil content, making it easier for the skin to absorb effectively. While we don't find it typically clogs pores, everyone's skin is different, and some folks may be more sensitive to a particular ingredient than others. I'd recommend giving it a try, as many of us with acne-prone skin find it to be a huge help!Answered on 3/26/2012 by Megan from LUSH
A:It won't clog your pores. In my experience, it goes on very light and absorbs quickly. So your face won't be a greasy mess. I could even put powder foundation on after a couple minutes with no mess.Answered on 4/16/2012 by Naan from NY
A:No, it will not clog your pores because it is created for oily, acne prone skin.Answered on 5/31/2012 by Meripoppins from Wichita Falls, TX
A:I had TERRIBLE skin for quite some time. I would get white heads and black heads. I even suffered from cystic acne. UNTIL I started using LUSH products. The two I give credit to: this and Ocean Salt. My skin is so unbelievable clear now...I have gotten so many compliments. I feel like my skin can finally breathe and it not only feels great, it looks flawless. My pores even seem to have gotten smaller since using this. Why do I sound so PRO the products: My skin is RIDICULOUSLY sensitive. I even tried Proactiv (as directed) and it seemed to make my face even worse! If there is a store near you, go ask for a sample. They will give you a small trial size container of it. I can almost guarantee you will be back in to purchase it after a couple days of trying it. It works THAT quick! (At least, it did for me!) Good luck :)Answered on 6/5/2012 by InlovewithLUSH from Atlanta, GA
Q:I am nervous to buy this product because it is a very expensive moisturizer and i want to make sure i am getting something that is worth it....what are the benefits?Asked on 2/20/2012 by Mali from Iowa
A:Vanishing Cream is very lightweight, and the lavender in it helps to balance the skin. It's fantastic for skin that is oily, but sensitive. It uses lighter emollients than many of our other moisturizers, making it easier for the skin to absorb, and it won't clog pores.Answered on 2/23/2012 by Megan from LUSH
I was in the same boat you were. However, I can honestly say that Vanishing Cream is worth the investment. If you are still unsure, perhaps ask your local retailer for a small sample.
From my own experience, Vanishing Cream acts as a light weight moisturizer. It sinks into the skin quickly, leaving your face feeling smooth and hydrated, not greasy.
Hope the situation works out for you!Answered on 2/23/2012 by KCM from Michigan
A:The Lush brand Vanishing Cream Moisturizer will help to get rid of your acne and oily skin. It is also low in fat, and also contains shea butter which helps to even skin tone.Answered on 2/24/2012 by Community Answer from None
A:For my skin, it is very moisturizing without being heavy or having to use too much product. Also, it is soothing for my sensitive skin. Every persons skin is different though. I would definitely recommend finding a Lush store or counter near you and getting a sample for these pricier items. If you don't have a counter or store near you, try watching reviews on youtube of people who have similar skin types as you.Answered on 3/21/2012 by Sara Marie from San Bernardino, California
