Q:how long do i keep the vanishing cream on?Asked on 6/27/2015 by jada from richmond virginia
A:All day, it's a facial moisturizer so you will just leave it on your face or reapply when needed.Answered on 6/30/2015 by Pauline
A:All day. It's a moisturizer.Answered on 6/27/2015 by Anonymous
Q:I know you store Lush face masks in the refrigerator but where do you store Lush moisturizers, Toners, and cleansers?Asked on 6/25/2015 by Kathie the newbie
A:Toners, Moisturizers, and Cleansers do not need to be refrigerated. Our fresh face masks do not use any synthetic preservatives, which is why they need to be kept in the fridge - however our moisturizers, toners, and certain cleansers do, so they are just fine on their own.Answered on 6/26/2015 by Serena from LUSH Direct
Q:Does this product help fade acne scars? And if so, how long till I see results? If not what moisturizer does help?Asked on 6/24/2015 by Mim the skeptic
A:Vanishing is super light! Gorgeous might be the best option for you, because it helps with skin's elasticity and brighten in, which will help the appearance of acne scars.Answered on 6/30/2015 by Pauline
Q:can this product use for man who has oily skin?Asked on 6/23/2015 by Zaw min aung
A:None of our products are gender specific, so anyone can use any of our products. That being said, this product is great for oily skin types and has a light witch hazel fragrance that is not floral-scented.Answered on 6/25/2015 by Haley from Lush Direct
Q:Would this be great for acne dark spots? Or what would you recommend? Please help.Asked on 6/17/2015 by Queencacti from SA, Tx
A:I would recommend Gorgeous for helping with dark spots and fine lines, because it will brighten your skin with all those wonderful organic juices and essential oils.Answered on 6/19/2015 by Pauline
Q:I've been using this moisturizer for about a week now with the tea tree toner. It works great for my oily/combo/acne skin.
The problem is, the smell is amazing but makes me sneeze like crazy. It causes my allergies to flare up, and unfortunately doesn't go away.
Is their another alternative, or should I be changing my routine?Asked on 6/14/2015 by nika from san francisco,ca
A:Eau Roma water is a calming and refreshing alternative to Tea Tree Water and Enzymion is an excellent rejuvenating hydration cream for oily skin.Answered on 6/16/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
Q:I love to use the Vanishing Cream Moisturizer everyday. Would like to know if there is any consideration from LUSH to incorporate a SPF factor?Asked on 6/6/2015 by tuzzi from Akron, OH
A:Unfortunately, we don't have any plans to incorporate any sun protection in North America any time soon. In order to do so, we would need to get licencing as a pharmaceutical company, which is not something that LUSH wants to do at this time. The main concern for that is that pharmaceutical companies are often required to test their products on animals and this is not something LUSH wants to do as we take a very active role against animal testing of any kind. In the US under FDA regulation, any kind of UV Protection is considered a drug, and therefore requires a lengthy testing process with a mandatory animal testing portion.Answered on 6/7/2015 by Emily from LUSH Direct
Q:I usually wash my face at night when I shower, would Vanishing Cream be best to use right after or should I choose a different moisturizer that will last until the morning and throughout the day.Asked on 6/2/2015 by Gena
I love Vanishing cream and do use it after I wash my face in the shower at
night. My face still feels soft and clean in the morning. I'd recommend it,
without a question.
HeatherAnswered on 7/16/2015 by Happy Healthy Human from Michigan
A:You can definitely use Vanishing Cream after showering and it will be hydrating enough to get you through until morning and beyond, if you don't generally cleanse in the morning as well.Answered on 6/3/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:I have very oily and acne prone skin. I also have acne scars. I have read great reviews on both this product and the Enzymion moisturizer. Which one would be best for my skin type?Asked on 5/24/2015 by Vanessa from Sacramento, CA
A:Both are great at leaving the skin hydrated and refreshed, while Enzymion will be a bit more softening on the skin. Vanishing Cream has a lighter feeling and if blemishes are an issue, I usually recommend this one. They both are excellent oil absorbents, Vanishing cream is a tad lighter and Enzymion is a bit more refreshing.Answered on 5/26/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
I personally, have never used the Enzymion moisturizer so I can not comment
on its effectiveness. I HAVE used the Vanishing Cream and loved it. I never
felt like there was anything greasy on my face and my acne was held at bay
as well. I used it in collaboration with Fresh Farmacy and Dark Angels
(Fresh Farmacy every day, Dark Angels once a week).
Hope this helps,

Q:Will this keep my face matte and oil free?Asked on 5/24/2015 by Vanessa from Elk Grove, Ca
A:Vanishing Cream is an excellent fat-free moisturizer that is great at leaving the skin feeling hydrated while not overly weighed down. You might experience less oil production over time with Vanishing Cream as it is has sebum-regulating Jojoba oil.Answered on 5/26/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
Q:Does this product work on under eye dark circles?Asked on 1/5/2015 by kris
A:Hi there! Thanks for your question~
Vanishing Cream is a great moisturizer but not specifically for under eye circles. I would recommend using Enchanted Eye Cream!
Hope this helps!Answered on 1/13/2015 by Anonymous
A:No, I didn't think it helped with under eye circles. But it was s great overall moisturizer for the face. Very lightweight and blended easily.

Q:Is this product supposed to be runny? I just bought a new pot and it is leaking like crazy out of my pot - is this just a bad batch or is this the correct texture for the product?Asked on 12/30/2014 by Jade from Los Angeles
A:Hi there! Thanks for the question!
Its just the texture of the product. It might be a little liquid-y because there is Lavender Honey Water in it :)Answered on 1/2/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Im wondering if I may be able to pair this product and use it before another moisturizer, Imperialis due to it being more moisturizing. I just want to know if I can use both moisturizers at the same time to get the best of both worlds. Im also wondering if i should use grease lightening before moisturizing with this product or after?Asked on 12/17/2014 by Steppi from NYC
A:You are welcome to pair up moisturizers, however, I would just be aware that by doing so you will be creating quite a heavy cream. You may find it more beneficial to use one in the morning and the other in the evening. It is best to use Grease Lightning after moisturizing, as the applying moisturizer after will likely just rub Grease Lightning away.Answered on 2/13/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I put grease lighting on over the top of the vanishing cream!Answered on 2/2/2015 by Clear Skin! from New Orleans
Q:How often should I use the vanishing cream? I have used to two nights in a row and I just want to make sure I am not over doing it.Asked on 11/9/2014 by Margaret from United States
A:You can use the Vanishing Cream as much as you like! It is a very light facial moisturizer, so it is definitely safe to use once or twice a day. We say that the best thing to do is to listen to your skin and do what feels right!Answered on 11/12/2014 by Rene
Q:I have combination-oily skin that is somewhat acne prone. I've been using the sea salt facial scrub, followed by the vanishing cream and in less than a week my face looks incredible. SOOO much clearer and softer than its been in years of using products filled with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
I recently added grease lightening to my regimen as a spot treatment. Is there a particular order I should use when applying these? Eg. Sea salt, grease lightening, THEN vanishing cream?Asked on 7/27/2014 by Mike from Ohio
A:I would recommend using our Ocean Salt scrub first, Grease Lightning, which you should let it dry on your skin, and then apply your Vanishing Cream!Answered on 9/25/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Why is this moisturizer so much more expensive than the rest?Asked on 6/26/2014 by Monica from NJ
A:The price points of all of our products are reflective of the ingredients we use in them, therefore, the products with higher price points contain ingredients that are more expensive.Answered on 9/25/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is this product non comedogenic?Asked on 4/26/2014 by heather from ohio
A:All of our products are unique and use the finest, freshest ingredients that we can find. We find that everyone's skin is very individual, and ingredients that are perfect for one person's skin are not as effective for another. This means it's hard to say for sure that a specific product or combination of ingredients will or will not clog pores! It really does come down to how your specific skin will interact with the ingredients.Answered on 5/3/2014 by Anonymous
A:This product definitely does not clog pores, so I would say it's
noncomedogenic. I love this stuff--it feels so smooth and moisturizing,
yet still light. I can even put it around my eyes and eyelids. It's
become a staple in my skincare routine.Answered on 4/26/2014 by Anonymous
Q:hi.... what time can i use this moisturizer day or night????Asked on 1/14/2014 by lena from iraq
A:Vanishing Cream is an extremely lightweight, easily absorbed moisturizer that can be used both in the morning and at night.Answered on 3/8/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I usually use the vanishing cream at night. I tend to have oily skin so I only
Use a little during the day if my skin feels dry. Love this cream..I have searched everywhere for a cream like this--that'll moisturize, not leave an oily residue & help my breakouts!

Q:Hi, I've been cleaning my face daily with Ocean Salt then Dark Angels followed by the Vanishing Cream and finishing off with the Tea Tree Toner. My question is, will this do good to my skin? I can feel it getting healthier but my face now shows more of my acne scars and dark spots and I think it might be the order that I do things or the Vanishing Cream itself because I notice this after I apply it. What would be your suggestion?
P.S. I only do this process once a day and i've been doing it for a little over two weeks now.Asked on 1/7/2014 by Bruno from United States
A:The best facial routine starts with a cleanser, uses a toner next, and finishes with a moisturizer. If you're worried about scars and dark spots, a better option might be our Enzymion Moisturizer as it contains a number of fruit juices and these help with brightening your skin and reducing the appearance of scars and dark spots.Answered on 3/19/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I haven't used either of those cleansers, but if I were you I would use the toner before the moisturizer rather than after.

Q:Should i use this or Enzymion for my oily, acne-prone skin?Asked on 8/22/2013 by lushie17 from United States
A:Yes! Both the Vanishing cream and the Enzymion are great for oily, acne prone skin. I find the Enzymion that is made with the fresh lemon infusion along with the papaya juice really does help the skin in reducing the acne and oil. I would give the Enzymion a try!Answered on 9/25/2013 by Anonymous
