I have never found a better moisturizer! This absorbs so quickly into my skin and feels so amazing. It's thick and effective but goes on light and isn't greasy. I use just a tiny dab on my finger tip for my whole face. I have literally never used anything so amazing. The only complaint I have is the price, but a little bit goes a long way so I'm assuming I will have this moisturizer for a long time so the price is reasonable. Totally worth the splurge!

This product is heaven on/for my face! I have tried so many moisturizers that don't do what they're intended to do and clearly create more dry skin in the end. This, however, is the most perfect moisturizer ever made. My face did not feel oily at all when used and even made some of the flaky parts of my face disappear for the day. The best part is that you only need a dime-size amount, if that, to cover your face. I will never invest in any other moisturizer, everrrr!!

So I originally got a sample of this and adored it, probably because I used a very small amount each time I used it. So when I ran out and purchased a full size and started using more each time, it started getting greasy on me, too greasy to use during the day. BUT I've found the trick; after cleansing your face, leave a tiny bit of water on your face. You use less product because it glides easier around the face, so you'll be less greasy. But besides that, this has helped in clearing up my minor acne and has evened out my skin tone which I was NOT expecting! Pleasantly surprised by that.

I use this product every morning and before I apply makeup. Because I have sensitive skin and am acne prone I was really cautious at first, but it's helping a great deal making the redness go down and actually improved the effectiveness of my acne medication.

It smells great (lavender is a good smell if you want something light) and I hardly feel it, which is such a bonus as I can't stand lotions that feel oily.

While the cost is pretty steep, know that you really don't need a lot of it. I use about a nickel size's worth every day and it covers my fave completely, so it's a product that will last you a long time.

All in all, I love this product and is the reason why I'm writing my first review for a Lush item.

I bought this for myself, but it's pretty popular in my household by now! My macho brother uses it probably more frequently than I do. Anyway, if you have oily/combination/spot prone skin, or just dry skin in general, this is the moisturizer for you. It's the first one that hasn't made me break out/look more greasy. It's so light (not heavy at all) and fresh-smelling- it's just perfect!

I have incredibly oily skin, and while this isn't a miracle product, it's one of the only moisturizers I've ever used that didn't make my skin more oily.

This makes my skin feel very nice, and helps improve my coloring, I also believe it does help me with blemishes when I get them.

However, I can't use it in the summer or my face gets really oily, so I use this for the colder months and then switch to Enzymion in the warmer months for it's extra drying properties.

I'm not one to write reviews, I just read them but I had to write a review on this product. I love this moisturizer! I've only used it for two days along with my Tea Tree Water Toner and it's amazing! I had a small break out that was really red and inflamed (due to the time of the month) and it's already calming it down and making the redness go away. I have really oily skin during this time of year but for some reason my nose gets really peel-y and dry but appears super oily throughout the day- not with this moisturizer. Like I said, within TWO days I can already notice a difference. My nose isn't peel-y and the rest of my face isn't looking as oily (needs more time). Also, I HATE facial products that make me feel like i've just lathered a stick of butter all over my face, and due to the cream texture of this moisturizer, i was skeptical. when i first put it on, it felt thicker than i prefer, but within two minutes or so, it was all soaked into my skin and feels amazing and soft; not oily AT ALL!!! everyone with combination skin or oily skin this product is a must-buy!!!
by the way, i was using Clinique moisturizer before i bought this... no comparison!

I love this. A lot. I purchased this 2 months ago on my first visit to Lush. I bought it with the Herbalism cleanser, which I also adore. I should start this review by saying that I am a 34 year old woman who has suffered since she was 11 with acne. I've been under a dermatologists care since then. I generally have a very tough time with products. If something doesn't make me break out, it gives me an unattractive rash of somes sort. My skin is very sensitive and it's a tough thing to deal with. Then I found Lush. And Vanishing Cream. I use this every morning after I get out of the shower. My skin is generally somewhat dry (Herbalism has helped my dry situation a lot). Vanishing Cream makes my skin soft, moisturized, and gets rid of any peeling skin that I may have. It's not greasy and plays well with the minimal make up that I wear. (Review the part about how everything irritates me in some fashion.) It smells a little funny, but the smell doesn't linger so it doesn't bother me. I really appreciate that this cream does it's job of providing moisturizing while not causing me any undesirable side effects. It also seems to help my break outs. I'd recommend this product for anyone who has sensitive skin that is dry and prone to break outs. Try it - I've had everything on the market. This stuff is amazing and it's priced very reasonably for what it does and the amount that you get.

I have to say, I had my doubts about the moisturizer! I really wasn't sure if it was worth the money. One of the sales associates forced me to take a sample and once it was gone I was back in the store buying it! It's so light and fresh feeling. I have very difficult skin, after it gets washed its dry and then a couple hours later its oily! With this my skin is moisturized and feels perfect. I don't think I can live without this product!

This product is very out of my budget range. But I went on a no budget shopping spree to Lush and decided why not buy myself somthing I've been wanting. With a price of $42, I was hoping it would be worth it, and so far it has been. I can already see a noticable difference in my acne scars. Granted mine aren't deep, and are pretty superficial. But the difference is noticable. I like the feeling of my skin after use also. Usually I wash my face with Angels on Bare skin, or scub with Ocean salt, after I take off my makeup with 9 to 5, and then I'll dab a little of this on. It takes next to nothing to do your whole face, I dip one finger into the middle then smooth it over my whole face, if I'm having a problem area I may dap another finger in and use this on the area. That is another pro, that it barely takes any to do your whole face, especially since it does cost so much for such a small amount. I also see a difference in the texture and eveness of my skin. Overall the smell is one that I'm okay with, the texture is pretty great, the results are promising, so I'm down to buy more when I run out. This will be a must have for me for as long as I can get my hands on it!

Unlike most moisturizers I have used which are heavy and make my already oily skin feel even greasier (even though those products were for oily skin), this one is light and balances my skin. I usually only use enough to cover my face, which is about the size of a quarter, and that seems to be enough every day. I am usually really hesitant on all natural and herbal products and their claims, but Lush has gained my trust.

I have oily AND dry skin so I need a daily moisturizer that handles both problems. And this delivers! To anyone who says it's too greasy or doesn't work in- I'd say it doesn't in the first few minutes, but once it does it keeps my oily skin at bay all day.

For the price of this cream, I expected more - a LOT more. I gave this cream a full go of it, figuring it might take a while for my skin to adjust to it.

I've never had greasier skin! My skin has always been oily, but this just seemed to turn the grease factory on. It's awful and I highly recommend getting a sample or two to try before buying it, just in case your skin hates it as much as mine.

The witch hazel in the cream makes it stink a bit too, though if it worked I wouldn't mind it so much.

For the longest time I never used moisturizer. EVER. Not in the summer, not in the winter, not in a plane or on a train. I just thought I never needed it given my combination/oily spotty skin. If this happened to come up in conversation with girlfriends they would look at me like I just said I don't use toothpaste. I honestly felt left out of the beauty club! But every moisturizer I had ever tried left me with clogged pores if not outright acne. I still don't even use lotion on my hands because I am afraid I will touch my face and break out.

A Lush employee gave me a sample of Vanishing Cream after staring at me wide eyed and mouth agape when I said I don't use moisturizer. I figured I'd give it a shot and was rewarded. I am now a Vanishing Cream devotee and feel happy to have joined the ranks of moisturizer users everywhere. Why add more to my skin care routine if I never needed it before, you ask? The benefits are abundant, I answer.

-Improved skin tone
-Glowy instead of oily (there is a difference, I recently found out!)
-Balance, balance, balance!

Not to mention the specific things that Vanishing Cream uniquely provides such as all natural ingredients specifically formulated to help skin like mine. Plus it smells so fresh and so clean. Happy days are here again!

I've used a few LUSH products before so when I went to the store an hour and a half away, the LUSH associate gave me a sample of this vanishing cream because it's supposed to combat oily skin.

While the oily skin isn't really a problem because I use Grease Lightning and the Tea Tree Toner, this Vanishing Cream really doesn't keep my face very hydrated. Granted, the blemishes have been reduced but my skin is still evidently flaky where I apply this cream (mostly on my cheeks). I don't understand why!

The LUSH associate also recommended that I use very little so the good thing about the sample I got is that it's lasted me nearly two weeks.

This is a great moisturizer for oily or combination skin. Oily skin need moisturizer too! It smells good and doesn't feel greasy. If I could change one thing, it would be the price. Overall, a great product.

This is the most expensive moisturizer I have ever bought and its worth every penny! After I wash my face (I am currently using dark angels but am also a huge fan of herbalism)I use a toner (I use a mix of witch hazel and tea tree oil)and make sure my face is wet with toner. I literally just lightly dab one finger in the container and that little amount covers my whole face. I used this product from August 5th to October 5th twice a day everyday so it lasted 2 months! during that time my acne scars really disappeared and my skin tone evened out. It also kept my skin from drying out all day which told my face to stop producing so much oil and really stopped my breakouts (I had really bad cheek acne)To see if this moisturizer was really as awesome as I thought I did not reorder I instead went with an old moisturizer... Needless to say I developed chin acne and my face has been super oily! Today it is November 29th 2012 and I was never so happy to wash my face so that I could use Vanishing Cream! I even forgot how much I loved the smell of it!

Unfortunately, this product just didn't work for me. I love the smell (very strong lavender scent) but it was too harsh for my sensitive skin. I would not recommend it for true combination skin. I found that it was too greasy for my oily t-zone, but did nothing to moisturize my dry cheeks. I also found that it clogged my pores much more than other lotions I have use in the past.

My biggest problem with this product is that it made me break out more than I did without it. I know that it works well for many people, but if you have sensitive skin or combination skin, I would recommend asking for a sample before buying it (this product is is too expensive to just sit in a cupboard unused).

My skin is super sensitive and acne prone. It goes from being dry and flaky with red patches to greasy by mid-day. Any lotion I've tried has sat on my skin and made me feel grimy. My face tends to get really greasy with lotion, but without lotion my face feels itchy and tight.

Vanishing cream worked for me the second time around. I took two tiny dabs and rubbed it over my face. While it didn't seem like enough, my face didn't get dry and flaky. My skin drinks it all up and it's very soothing. This is literally the only lotion that my skin actually agrees with. I will never use anything else.

Vanishing cream has helped but not cured my acne. It soothes my skin and works wonderfully with aqua marina.

*Do not put too much of this stuff on, otherwise you'll feel and look like a total grease ball for most of the day!

*Lush needs to fix the container; the product leaks out every time I open and close it.
