Despite having thick, wavy hair, Veganese works wonderfully. It's the perfect light conditioner for me when I'm not using a super clarifying shampoo. I usually use this after I Love Juicy and the two scents pleasantly compliment each other.

When I first bought this, it was wonderful - I know the smell can be a bit overpowering, but I love it. Unfortunately, I've noticed that it dries my hair out more than it conditions, so I will only be using it occasionally - it seems a shame to waste it, but this will not be my go-to conditioner. Probably would work out with a heavier leave-in conditioner to follow?

This is the second Lush conditioner I have tried, and at first, I was fairly pleased with it. But about halfway through the bottle, my hair seemed to stop responding to it. I tried using larger quantities, and that made a small difference, but I don't want to have to use a whole handful of conditioner every day.

I'm still using it, as I don't have a lot of money right now, but I will definitely not buy it again. My hair is fairly shiny, but is rough to the touch, gets extremely tangled very easily, and has almost no body. I have not had so much trouble with tangles with any conditioner before this. It's very disappointing. This is the second lush conditioner that has not worked well for me. Maybe if my hair was thinner, this would work better, but it's really not very thick at all in the first place.

So, I purchased the smallest bottle of this about 3 months ago and I've finished it. This conditioner is wonderful. It works very well on my thin, fine, oily hair. I've purchased AC and found that it was a little much on my hair for every day use. I was able to use this basically everyday (I'm an every day or sometimes every other day shampooer). Veganese added super shine, lightened my dirty blonde hair slightly, improved the over all health. It is very light so occasionally (maybe once a week) I would switch it up and use AC. I highly recommend this! (: Wish they made a bar version of this. I'm about to try Big so i'll let you guys know how that is.

I didn't like this conditioner because it was very light (I prefer retread) and it had a very very strong lemon smell. I think it would be good for someone with thin or straight hair or someone who likes the smell of lemons.

This product would be great for short fine hair. The product worked ok but just required so much to get coverage, literally using an full palm-full everytime I washed to do the job. Compared to other products especially (the Juicy shampoo) which only requires nickel-quarter sized amount for my shoulder +4 inch length hair.

This smells amazing. Citrus lover this one is for you. It is very light, probably the lightest conditioner I've ever used, but it does the job. Does not leave your hair feeling greasy or weighed down.

I have medium length, fine, static like, oily, frustrating hair. For me, shopping for conditioners is as bad as going bathing suit shopping after the holidays.

I used this after washing with I Love Juicy and they compliment each other perfectly. Massaging it in for a few moments and then letting it rinse out completely, you are left with soft, healthy, fresh hair. Does not weight it down and gives enough moisture to leave you feeling soft, no greasy after affect. It leaves no residue behind, and when I mention it smells GREAT.. that's the understatement of the year. The smell is my favorite part. I had a sample of this first and used my old conditioner the next day. Veganese pushed its scent through like it was begging me to come back to it. All I can say is it worked.

For someone who uses a hair dryer, straightener, also lets my hair occasionally air dry. This has helped it stay healthy no matter what I torture my hair with.

i do love the smell of this product, but it leaves my hair extremely tangled. its about the only conditioner ive ever used that has done that. the smell isnt to bad, however its very lemony if thats not your thing, beware. i actually got lucky and bought the smallest one, used it once then just threw it away. oh well.

I loved the smell and feel of this conditioner. I'm not vegan, but the scent combinations in the description motivated me to try it out.

I didn't realize until after I purchased it, however, that this, and all other Lush conditioners and shampoos, use sulfates. I'm incredibly disappointed in that. I've been searching for products for hair that doesn't use sulfates, and just assumed that Lush would be one of those companies. It's a surprise to me that a company that emphasizes natural products and great alteratives to conventional hygiene and beauty routines would use something harmful like that.

It's for that reason that I wouldn't use this product again. Which is disappointing because I love the smell and feel the conditioner leaves.

Ob.sessed. with. Veganese. It smells so good. I can't stop smelling my hair. It does overpower the scent of pretty much anything else I put on my head, and it's a little light. Doesn't add a whole bunch of shine, but makes my hair feel and smell AMAZING. Love.

Originally I had tried American Cream and found it too thick, so I moved on to Veganese, which I found to be much better. It smooths into my hair and makes it easy to untangle, and it smells great, especially when used with Cynthia Sylvia Stout.

This conditioner is everything it claims to be. I use seanik daily as well. I have very fine, straight hair. Veganese provides just enough conditioning, without weighing my hair down. Before using this product I had issues with extremely dry scalp, Veganese took care of that :)

I do not have fine/thin hair. Rather, my hair is a medium thickness, yet super soft (Basically when I get fly-aways... it gets intense up in here). Slightly wavy when I let it completely air dry. I called LUSH Tyson's Corner for some advice on what conditioner to get before Christmas... they recommended giving Veganese a try, and I am very glad I did. This conditioner smells like nature. It is not a very sweet scent, but that is something I am thankful for. I use Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo with it and I feel like a woodland goddess after each shower... My only "complaint" is that it could be a tad thicker. Just a tad. Sometimes I feel like I'm handling watery milk. My hair has some natural volume, and I'm not sure if it is helping in that department... Aside from that, I highly recommend this conditioner to those who love the idea of running wild and free through the forest in a dress made of autumn leaves and a headband made of lavender.

I'd been using "American cream" for many years and wanted to branch out. I felt like it kind of weighed my hair down and I honestly got tired of the smell. My hair tends to get a lot of buildup and grease if I don't wash my hair everyday. If the shampoo/conditioner leaves any residue, It just builds and builds. I like that Veganese feels so light, fresh, and clean. It leaves no grease or anything behind the consistency is perfect . Not too thick, and not too thin. The smell is great too. It reminds me a bit of the Karma scents, but not as strong or overpowering. It's a very earthy, fresh scent. Also makes my long, thick hair super-smooth and easy to brush (no easy task!). It really makes my hair feel light and healthy.

I highly recommend it...try it out even if you've already got a LUSH conditioner. I'm very happy with my switch to Veganese :)

I'm just going to start by saying I love this stuff! It makes my hair feel clean and healthy and my hair has never looked as good as it does. It even cooperates with me more. I went from constantly keeping my hair up, to having it down a lot more often. I don't even have to blow dry it now because it doesn't get as frizzy anymore.
The only thing I can complain about is that while I have thin hair, I find it hard to use this conditioner without using a lot at one time. It doesn't really lather all that well. If it didn't cost so much, I wouldn't mind, but I ran out of this stuff before I was half done with my Daddy-o shampoo and I started using them at the same time!

This is the best conditioner I have ever used and will more than likely be my go-to conditioner from now on. I have very fine/ thin ("thine") strawberry blonde hair and for the longest time, I would just skip the conditioner because every one I ever tried left my hair ultra greasy by lunch time. This is perfect for me (and, I would think, for anyone with my type of hair/ hair issues) because it is so light and just absolutely wonderful. My hair now looks so healthy and soft and shiny! It feels great too! I dont even have to use any styling products anymore (that may not be everyone's case, mind you), I just wash, condition, blow dry and go! So happy with this product! Please never stop making this product!!!!! Thanks LUSH, you people are life (and hair) savers!!!

I have medium thick hair that is wavy and dry. This is ok but it is just too light for my ends. I have been growing out my hair and my ends need way more moisture. And the smell when in the shower wasn't too bad, but when my hair dried, it smelled awful! The best way for me to describe the smell is that it smelled like moss. It smells of lemon and lavender in the shower but I did not like how it smelled when dried. So if you don't mind the smell and need a light conditioner, give this a try. Otherwise, there is better from lush.

This is the fourth Lush conditioner I have tried. I didn't like the Jungle at all, my hair is too thick to use a solid conditioner. Second, I tried Happy Happy Joy Joy. I love the scent but it's too thin for my thick hair. Next I tried American Cream, and I liked it, but it took too much to coat my hair. One time using Veganese and I am HOOKED FOR LIFE. Even with my very thick hair, it covers very well and leaves my hair smelling amazing.

I run nearly every day, and washing my hair after every run was making it brittle and gross. But not washing it made it salty and gross. So I went to Lush to find an answer.
They told me not to wash my hair so much. They said a very light conditioner like Veganese would get rid of the salt and sweat without drying my straight hair out and making it wispy. They were right.
Now I only wash every other day or so (with Cynthia Sylvia Stout) and use Veganese after every run, shampoo or no. My hair is much happier.
Added bonus: the scent is a citrus neutral and the texture is very light, so even my swimming husband uses it in his short hair post-pool.
