Ohhhh man. At first glance, I thought that this would be on the "impossible to pull off" list: the color is really bold!! However, after seeing some of my friends try it on and look amazing, I decided to give it a try. My pale slightly-olive-toned skin and dark hair seemed to work with it as soon as I applied it and I have never looked back. I can't believe how much I liked this!
It really is a vibrant color, and I love how much of a difference it makes, compared to my standard go-to red lips. I have had to reapply it a couple times over the day for the very bold look, but if you are just wearing a little for the shimmer, it is very long lasting.

I asked for this as a Christmas present last year after trying it on in the store. I loved it! I'm very pale skinned and I never believed I could work an orange color but this changed my mind! Even when I'm not wearing it on my lips, I brush a little streak through my hair and it glitters! So fun and you can use it every day.

I tried this on in the store and immediately loved it and brought it home. A little does go a long way, and you can layer it to create a more dramatic effect. I like to use a thin coating, and it give my lips a nice golden shimmer. The first day I bought it I received many compliments! And it last quite a long time and isn't very drying, although I do usually use lip balm with it, but that's mainly because I'm a lip balm addict and apply it every 10 mins.

I love the product and highly recomend it. Orenge is the new red and this color works. It's a cooler toned tangerine that will look good on pale, pink and yellow skin tones. It is highly pigmented and the bottle I got had a almost heavy dose of gliter. The applicator works fine and it fits into any purse. Don't be heavy handed with this product!!!!! I little goes a long way

I have never been disappointed by any Lush product, ever--but this is my first! I was told it was multifunctional and really bought it for my eyes as a shadow. Omg, it creases instantly! I have to continuously rub it to try to keep it from creasing. I understand if it was meant to be purely a lipstick, but then the store associate really should have advised me not to purchase it for the use I wanted it for! She really pushed how I could use it anywhere on my face, and that simply isn't true. Then on top of that the doe applicator broke and is now stuck inside the packaging after only two or three uses. For the price I would expect better quality packaging, especially from Lush. The only reason I gave it any stars is because it is a beautiful color! I am really sad and disappointed. I am far from a Lush store after they closed the Beverly Hills one so it is going to be a huge hassle returning it :(

It's not a stain, but it doesn't have the texture of a lip stick, either. I would probably describe it as a highly pigmented lip gloss. After the initial application, it "settles" into the lip and feels more like a stain (it won't wipe off the color the way that lipstick can), but the first bit is more like a gloss. This has the same base as the Ultrabalm, so if you have had a chance to try that, you will know what to expect!Answered on 7/31/2012 by Laura from LUSH
