I started using this several months ago, and it lasted AGES. After I finished a bottle, i tried a different brand. I found that Washday greens left my scalp cleaner and not at all itchy, where as the other shampoo did. Waiting for WG to get back in stock so I can buy another bottle!

I love earthy, herbal scents and try to avoid sweet candy scents. If you are the same way, this stuff is for you. The scent lingers in your hair for the whole day if not more and does such a great job making your scalp feel refreshed after washing.
I have extremely fine, thick, kind of oily hair. Also my hair is probably 18 inches long as well and lacks volume. This shampoo will not create volume. So, I ordered BIG and I'm going to mix the two together for the perfect combination shampoo.

ANYWAYS, buy this. it's amazing.

I kid you not, this smells exactly like doublemint gum. Not a harsh minty or menthol smell you get with some mint shampoos, but a sweet, elusive mint smell that evokes childhood memories. Cleans well, and very gentle on my sensitive scalp.

this shampoo is awesome. it's nice for thick hair as it seems to make it more fine and shiny. the ONLY thing is that i wish it created more volume but I LOVE THIS STUFF. smells so yum.

My shower has been full of LUSH for three years now and just this summer I got Washday Greens, on a whim.

My hair is straight, thick, and moderately oily. I have to get it at least wet every day or wash it every day in order to not look oily (or I use No Drought!).

To be blunt: I am obsessed with this shampoo. I have made at least a dozen friends tiny samples to try and don't know what I would do without it. It leaves my hair shiny, clean, and so very soft. On three separate occasions when I used Washday Greens, people I work with commented on how awesome my hair looked that day. I switch up what shampoo/conditioner I use almost daily. Mainly I use New, Big, and Rehab. Now, though, 5 out of seven days a week I am using Washday Greens. It's that good.

Lately I've added in a pinch of Big to add some volume, as this one doesn't provide it on its own. Works great!

I love the minty tingle on my scalp, and how it smells after. It's nothing too overpowering, though, so don't worry about that!

You will not regret getting this product. Promise.

Wonderful product. Highly recomend for those who get greasy hair easily. My ends split easily, and my hair is tempermental at best but this product worked. I don't recomend a heavy conditioner with this due to how gentle it is. Also, I would love to see a solid variation.

I fell in love with this product just reading the description, and also that it was a LUSH retro, meaning it was a best seller. The lather was great and it was fun to see the super dark green shampoo turn into white bubbles on my light hair. BUT THEN, after I rinsed it out, my hair was so stretchy, almost sticky. Very elasticy. It felt as if it had been completely stripped of all it's natural oils! I used some conditioner and even leave in treatment and still could not get my wide toothed comb through my hair (which is very curly, but rarely tangles) and my hair is still suffering the damage a week later as it feels like straw. On the upside- I gave it to my brother and he loves it! I would say it's a great product for very low maintenance/straight/short hair. I am so sad that I cannot continue to use it.

This was the white rabbit that led me down the LUSH rabbit hole. As my first LUSH product, I was naturally stunned by the price. Who would pay [$] for such a small bottle of shampoo?? But Washday Grees wowed me by taming my oily hair, lasting twice as long as drugstore brands. Now, I am hooked on LUSH. I honestly cried when this was discontinued. Glad to see LUSH brought out their Retro line and included this in it so I can use it again. My only complaint is that Washday Greens does not lather very well.

I have really oily hair and I always had a problem finding a good shampoo that kept my hair clean for more than a day. Then I found this shampoo and it's fantastic. It smells great, lathers well, stimulates your scalp, and deep cleans. I love it!

I love finally having a shampoo that you don't have to lather rinse and repeat Actually recommends on the bottle not repeating unless your hair is very grimy.

The scent helps wake me up with its minty freshness. My hair seems to love it as well, the lather not the scent. And the fact I can get random wiffs of the scent on my hair after the shower just puts a smile on my face

I have used the product everyday for the past two or three weeks, and I have to say, I'm very pleased it with it. It leaves my hair clean and squeaky, and it doesn't get frizzy anymore.

No fake candy mint in this one. Beautiful deep green color and less lather then I'm used to. If you have dry hair you might want to pass this one up. IF, however, you get the greasy locks give this a try.

This shampoo is wonderful! It has a slight minty smell, not too overbearing. I was a little worried about the dark green color, but no worries this shampoo rinses cleanly. A great buy!

This shampoo is phenomenal! It does a thorough job of cleansing, and my fine, somewhat oily hair (which gets washed every other day) still doesn't look as oily as it used to by the time 'washday' rolls around. While it does feel like it gets a little dried out after the rinse...do not fear...you are left with soft, super-shiny, voluminous hair that smells terrific...i always fondly recall the 'seinfeld' episode when kramer makes a salad in the shower...weird, right? Bottom line...this stuff is great!

This shampoo rocks! The smell is great, like mint and freshly cut grass, and the lather is good although I found that I had to use more of it to get that rich lather I like, but no biggie. Afterwards, my hair and scalp felt very clean without feeling stripped, and the lovely scent lingered until I went to wash my hair again with WG, which is phenomenal since I only wash my hair 3x/week.
