Q:Will this product melt if shipped to Arkansas in this weather? If it melts, will it reconstitute itself once refrigerated?Asked on 7/1/2015 by maybethisaintme from Conway, AR.
A:There is a high risk of this product melting if shipped to Arkansas. I would suggest buying meltable products in-store during the summer months.Answered on 7/3/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct
Q:Can anyone with eczema who has tried this tell me if it is safe to use, or if it aggravates eczema? I'm currently rash free but have to be a little careful.Asked on 6/18/2015 by Robert from San Diego, CA
A:It might be a little too cleansing for your skin, because it is a citrus wash so I would probably suggest something more moisturizing like Sweetie Pie.Answered on 6/19/2015 by Pauline
Q:Im wondering how this product actually smells? I bought Sweety Pie jelly scent and was super disappointed with the smell. It smelled exactly like a can of grape soda that had been microwaved. The jelly concept is solid but the sweet pie smell is not good.Asked on 4/22/2015 by annaj from Texas
A:I wasn't a huge fan of the Sweetie Pie either, but Whoosh smells amazing! It really wakes up your senses on a groggy morning. It's super citrusy smelling in the best way possible!Answered on 5/19/2015 by Jen from Missoula, MT
A:definitely a strong lime scent, in a good way!
i thought the Sweety Pie scent was way too sweet smellingAnswered on 5/12/2015 by Lexi from Thousand Oaks, CA
A:It has a powerful citrus smell from the lemon, grapefruit, and lime juices, which will waken up your senses in the morning.Answered on 4/25/2015 by Pauline
Q:Does the smell linger through out the day after using it in the morning?Asked on 1/26/2015 by Rachel from United States
A:Our Whoosh shower jelly has that incredibly uplifting citrus fragrance that will last for a few hours, but unfortunately not the whole day! It leaves that invigorating citrus fragrance of the skin for a while, but it wouldn't be the same, for example, as using one of our perfumes.Answered on 2/13/2015 by Meg from LUSH Direct
A:It lingers. It's not super strong like a perfume, but more subtle...

A:Not really. It's a lighter scent and tends to be gone within an hour or two of showering. Even then, it's not super noticeable.Answered on 1/26/2015 by Anonymous
Q:How many uses can you usually get out of it?Asked on 1/29/2014 by Liss from United States
A:It really depends on how often and how much you use each time. You can either break small pieces off or use the whole thing at once. If you use a loofah, it tends to last a bit longer.Answered on 1/29/2014 by Anonymous
A:Depends on how you use it. If you break off parts of it to use, it'll last maybe 35+ uses depending on the size of your pieces (you don't need much). But if you just use the whole thing as like a bar of soap/loofah, it should last longer than that. It's the weirdest most awesome thing that I'm still not totally sure of the proper way to use

Q:are there any other products that smell like whoosh?Asked on 5/19/2013 by R
A:Just became unavailable but keep an eye out for the Whoosh Temple Balm if it comes around again: https://www.lush.co.uk/product/6333/Whoosh-Temple-Balm
I've ordered it in the past - it is fantastic.Answered on 1/30/2014 by Maemi from Toronto, ON
A:We do have a product that is similar to the Whoosh shower jelly. It is called Slammer shower gel. It is a retro product that is only sold on our website and the ingredients are very similar to the Whoosh. Both are full of the fresh lemon and lime juices to give your skin a deep cleanse and also a great product to help awaken the senses!Answered on 9/25/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Is this good for body acne and acne scars?Asked on 4/23/2013 by Lilian from United States
A:Whoosh is definitely a great choice for oily skin and body acne, as it is loaded with citrus juices to help keep the skin squeaky clean. The grapefruit juice in it is antibacterial too, which is wonderful for helping to fight acne. For acne scarring, it is best to look for a product that will exfoliate, as this will help get rid of dead skin cells and allow new ones to rise to the surface. Ocean Salt is fantastic for this!Answered on 9/20/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is this safe to use on your face if you have sensitive skin?Asked on 7/18/2012 by Danielle15
A:We don't recommend using the shower jellies on your face. Because they are designed for the skin on the body (which is much thicker and less sensitive than facial skin) they are not going to be as delicate as a cleanser designed for the face. If you have sensitive skin on your face, finding a cleanser designed for facial skin, especially sensitive skin, would be best. Call us at 1-888-733-5874 and we would be happy to help recommend a few!Answered on 8/1/2012 by Laura from LUSH
Q:where do i store whoosh?Asked on 1/27/2012 by Anonymous
A:Truly, you can store it anywhere, some perfer putting it in the freezer or refrigerator, while a number of people like to keep it out in a basket with other soaps and shampoos in the bathroom.Answered on 7/29/2013 by Spiritwolf145 from Highland, MI
A:Whoosh should be stored in its original container. You can cut it up into small squares or chunks and just take out one or two chunks as needed. I wouldn't recommend storing it out of its container in your shower; it will probably dissolve before you can use it.Answered on 1/30/2012 by Community Answer from None
A:You can store it in the refrigetator, freezer, or just in your bathroom.Answered on 2/24/2012 by ilovelush93 from South Bend, IN
A:You can keep it in the fridge, freezer or on the shelf depending on how you like it when you use it. It can be very refreshing to use it cold!Answered on 3/17/2012 by doktor from Port Alberni (BC)
A:In my shower, or bathroom cabinetAnswered on 3/20/2012 by Marisa from Boston, MA
A:What I always do, is take the whole glob of whoosh and cut it up with a kitchen knife into little quarter-sized pieces then put it all back into the container. Then, every morning, in the shower i take out one piece and crush it up into a luffa and then it lathers up like shower gel would! It's a great product i recommend it!Answered on 4/12/2012 by Lushie from New York
A:in it's container!Answered on 4/23/2012 by erinleo from Washington, DC
A:I keep the jelly inside the pot it came in and store it either in the shower if I will be using it, or somewhere in my bathroom. I don't believe that it needs to be stored in the refrigerator or anywhere special.Answered on 4/20/2012 by Chanchan from Orange County
A:in the container but make sure water doesnt get into it. i leave mine on the window sill in my bathroom so its right there when i need it. also good straight from the fridge!Answered on 6/5/2012 by Arshark from Philadelphia, PA
A:Whoosh is best stored in its container between uses for best results. If left open, it may slowly harden over time.Answered on 8/30/2012 by Megan from LUSH Direct
