I just tried this with my 14-month-old son for his bathtime. I really didn't have high hopes for Fun. If the store clerk hadn't sent me home with a couple samples, I never would have bought it on my own. But now it will be a staple in our house! Both my son and I loved it!! It made an excellent toy and soap. To really mold anything it did require a little moisture - it wanted to crumble a bit in my dry hands, but as soon as I held it with wet hands it was perfectly moldable. My boy enjoyed holding the shapes we made under the running water, which made TONS of soft fluffy bubbles. I didn't expect it to lather or clean well, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It lathered really well and got my dirty little man clean on the first go! Usually it takes a couple body sudsings to get all the grime off, but not with Fun! (I have no idea how such a tiny person can accumulate so much yuck in 24hrs.) I also noticed my son's skin wasn't dry at all after he got out of the tub, which was really nice because he's not a fan of lotion application except at bedtime. (This was a midday bath after playing at the park.) Also, the sample I was given was pretty small, but it will go a long way! Not even a quarter of it is gone, which really shocked me because we got a whole tub full of bubbles. Obviously, I love it!! Here are the only downsides, though: the yellow one smells like playdoh when you play with it, and leaves a vanilla scent on the skin - not necessarily bad for a little one, but not what mommy wants to smell when she's showering even if the lasting scent is vanilla. I also have a sample of the pink one, which I haven't tried yet, but it smells quite sweet and a bit girly for my son. I'm hoping one of the other colors will suit him better. So I'm not so thrilled with the scents. The only other downside: my son consistently tried to eat it (but I'm used to him trying to eat pretty much everything so it's not going to stop me from buying it)
I can't speak to its use as a shampoo because the cat walked into the bathroom and distracted my son from bathtime, but I have high hopes for it. My husband works about 15min from the Lush store, and he now has direct orders to buy a couple rolls of Fun on hs way home.

I really Like the FUN product. I got it to use on camping trips. It is perfect for that reason. You dont need to use alot, and it really suds up in your hand, and breaks down. My husband and I use it on the dogs, when we're out camping. It works great, it doesn't irritate their skin and rinses clean. Keep in mind they are larger dogs (a german shepherd & catahoula). It is the only thing I pack when it comes to bathing on camping trips and road trips. It saves SO much room. I wish the smell wasnt so sweet,its more like sugar cookies, but ill just buy a diffrent color next time :)

I got this as a gift and was very excited because I love vanilla-scented things. The first time I used it, I tried it as both a shampoo and a body wash. It was hard to get it to lather in my hands, and I had to play around with adding water. When you apply it to your hair, it doesn't really feel like it's there because of how little it lathers. It was fairly conditioning, though. My skin also feels a little softer. It crumbles when it's not wet and dries out fairly quickly. When I used it as a bubble bath the results were much more favorable, with nice fluffy bubbles. However, my biggest downside was the scent. It's supposed to smell like baked goods, and to me it just smells like artificial vanilla and a weird, almost flowery type scent. Not my favorite Lush product.

Smell:
Definitely smells like cookie dough and a touch of playdough. However, your hair will smell like the vanilla and not the dough.

Texture:
Really fun! I thought it would be a little grainy but it isn't.

Dough aspect:
It is a little tough at first but quickly is moldable

Humidity:
I live in an incredibly humid place (the envelopes seal themselves). My bar sat on the counter for two days and I had to start using it because so much moisture had already entered it. It turned into a sticky mess (very similar to cookie dough when you leave it out at my house). But, in a drier climate it would probably keep longer.

Overall, I love using it. I've used it a couple of days now and have had no challenges. I have eczema and am very cautious about using new products on my scalp but it hasn't affected me thus far. Plus it is, as the name suggests, fun and addictive to play with!! And, unlike playdough, you don't have to worry about it drying out when you leave it out after a day! Nor does it get grainy. I plan on buying more next time I'm near the store.

I use this for the kids bath. I was a skeptic with this product. I didn't think it would work but I was surprised and very pleased by the large amount of bubbles. The kids really like it. I also really like the smell of this particular one. My son who is very very picky with fragrances likes this too. It's not overwhelming and there is still a faint pleasant smell on the kiddies afterwards.
Oh! A con is the packaging. I applaud that it's biodegradable but it rips easily. I can't rewrap it in the original packaging so I use a plastic baggy (which creates more waste). And I wanted to smell it in the store before purchasing because of my previously mentioned picky son and I couldn't without ripping the packaging.
Love everything else!!!

I just love Fun. Not only do my kids have a blast with it but I must admidt I use it too. Lovely vanilla scent. One roll lasts a long time!

I love fun! Great in the bathtub- my little boy actually washes his hair now! The yellow is not my favorite, the vanilla scent is not sweet or real and is plastic-y and fake. Get the other colors, they're awesome!

because it is. I missed all those fun bathtime moldable soaps from when I was a kid. Couldn't be happier. I bought three. This one smells like a vanilla based cookie dough. I was a little afraid of staining, it didn't stain my skin, shower/tub, or the white tee I slept in after (no color on the tee at all). Didn't dry me out, but I didn't find it moisturizing either. Lots of bubbles, need to use very little to get the job done. Haven't tried it as a shampoo, probably never will, just don't like most lush hair care products (find them drying). Overall fun is a fun product for adults and kids.

I was super excited to try this!

Smell:
The smell of yellow somewhat reminds me of playdoh and vanilla. Others might not agree though, because I am getting over a cold.

Using it:
Imagining it could turn in to quite the mess if I took the whole fun into the shower... I took just a small chunk. I very much recommend taking 1 piece at a time. It feels just like playdoh. The outer part turns somewhat slithery/slimy once wet as playdoh does when it gets wet. At first I got a little water on it and somewhat got it to a liquid consistency and went for it. I thought I lathered enough but I had a hard time figuring out if it was working on my hair. Then I put some more in my hand, got it a little wet and lathered in to bubbles. I might have not had enough at first? I liked it. It worked good as a shampoo and my hair smells great! I'll buy it again. I think this will be a big hit with my kids when it comes to bath time.

I purchased the FUN line from the UK, and out of all of them, this was my least favorite. The line itself is inventive, and I like that it says "Ranger" and then the color after (in Japanese). There wasn't a scent description at the time, and when I opened the FUN yellow, it smelled of playdoh (the kind we made in grade school) with a hint of vanilla. I emailed to make sure I didn't receive a bad batch, and the associate told me that it is supposed to smell that way. If you like the scent of playdoh, then you'll love it. Because of its consistency, it's a bit difficult to get it lathered. I've been using it as a bubble bar in conjunction with the Vanilla Fountain bath bomb.
