Q:I just received my package, and my Snap The Whip Body Butter is extremely squishy inside of its packaging. Will it harden up inside the packaging? Or should I set it out somewhere for it to harden?Asked on 7/23/2015 by Chloe
A:You can place it in the fridge, hopefully that will help to cool it down. If you have any further questions or concerns about your package, please feel free to give us a call anytime at 1-888-733-5874Answered on 7/24/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Can this be used on my face and if I use it will I break out? I have sensitive skin and I very easily break out and I hear charcoal is good for skinAsked on 7/15/2015 by Ktjackson623 from Ypsilanti
A:It is totally up to you to use it on your face- our body butters have a very high content of cocoa butter in them to scrub your skin and exfoliate to make it very soft. If you are prone to breakouts I would recommend using Dark Angels cleanser which has charcoal and black sugar, which is amazing for your skin!

A:I wouldn't necessarily use it on my face. It is very hard and does not come off the block easily. Much more ideal for body. Hope this helps!Answered on 7/15/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Is this smell similar to the Comforter?Asked on 7/9/2015 by mm from georgia
A:The smell is the exact same as The Comforter actually!Answered on 7/12/2015 by Haley from Lush Direct
Q:What moisturizes, lotions, massage bars, etc. would you recommend I use with this?Asked on 2/28/2015 by Jo from Normal, IL
A:Sympathy for the Skin body lotion is a lovely body moisturizer that combines fresh bananas, cocoa butter and vanilla to deeply moisturize, while lightly scenting the skin like a sweet banana dessert. The fruity scent of Sympathy for the Skin will mix nicely with You Snap the Whip, creating beautifully scented and soft skin.
A beautiful massage bar to pair with these products would be the Each Peach (and Two's a Pair) massage bar. The lovely citrus and tropical fruits will pair in a beautiful way with the cassis and bergamont of the You Snap the Whip Body butter bar.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Emily from LUSH Direct
A:Sympathy for the Skin is hands-down the best moisturizer I've ever used and I highly recommend it.Answered on 2/28/2015 by Anonymous

Q:Will this stain my white bath and shower?Asked on 8/11/2013 by Amanda
A:Staining isn't a normal thing for our products. The only way You Snap the Whip would stain is if the tub isn't quite coated properly, the finishing coat has worn down over time, or if the tub is not fully cleaned and the soap grime comes into contact with the dye. Usually any concerns of staining can be resolved with proper cleaning before hand or lightly rinsing with water and baking soda after the fact.
So long as your tub is in good, clean condition, there should be no worries!Answered on 8/14/2013 by Anonymous
A:You Snap The Whip Body Butter is my absolute favorite product. While I don't have white tile in my shower, I recently took the bar traveling with me. I used it several times in a hotel with a white shower. It didn't stain at all. You will need to rinse the tile with some clean water as the latter tends to splash. But I won't stain.

Q:Would you recommend this product as an everyday use, or only a couple times a week?Asked on 6/5/2013 by Baaron
A:You Snap the Whip is quite exfoliating so we generally recommend using it only 3-4 times per week.Answered on 10/2/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
Q:Would you recommend this product for body acne, especially for the shoulder area? Thank you!Asked on 1/22/2013 by Anonymous
A:We would! You Snap the Whip has ground up charcoal in it which is used to absorb excess oil on the skin which will help to prevent future breakouts. We do have another product called Mudflats which was actually designed and formulated for body breakouts.Answered on 8/21/2013 by Elizabeth from LUSH Direct
A:Definitely, yes. It has improved the look and feel of the KP on my upper arms. I think that the combination of the Linolenic acid, and shea/cocoa butter soothes the skin while the pumice is an effective mechanical exfoliator. The soothing oils and scrubbiness combined has worked really well for my back acne as well, without irritating it. The way I use it, is to put it on first thing in the shower and then use the Back For Breakfast shower gel. My skin has definitely improved :)Answered on 4/26/2013 by Gypsy Ninja from South Deerfield, MA
I bought this about 6 months back, cut it into small pieces, put it in a box, stored in the fridge so it does not melt and forgot about it. I recently found it and used a part of it once. I felt itchy the rest of the day/night. How long do these products stay good?Asked on 10/13/2012 by Bindi from United States
A:The shelf-life of this body butter is 14 months. There's no need to cut it into smaller pieces (unless you prefer). If you experienced itchiness after use, this might indicate an allergy to one of the ingredients, so I'd recommend discontinuing use, and consulting with your physician about any allergies.Answered on 11/1/2012 by Megan from LUSH
Q:If I cut it up and use a piece until it runs out, will the bar last longer?Asked on 4/29/2012 by Total Lushie
A:Yes, you can definitely prolong your body butters' life by cutting smaller pieces to use while leaving the rest solid and dry.Answered on 5/3/2012 by Megan from LUSH
A:It might. I think that the reason people find it running out so quickly is because it's not being stored properly. I purchased the square tin with it and mine lasted me about 7-8 months. I think the tin was like five bucks, but well worth it!Answered on 5/29/2012 by Little Misses Wayson from Middle River, MD
