Yuzu and Cocoa

This was one product that I had been toying around with picking up on my many visits to Lush. The first time I smelled this I was in love by the creamy, citrus scent. I loved that it wasn't an overwhelming wave of orange, but more of a subtle, toned down version. I bought other melts nad bath bombs but never picked this one up until my last trip. I liked the concept of being able to get two uses out of this product, but as I have a big garden tub I went ahead and used the whole thing. As it melted under the water it gave way to almost a doughy consistency which was pretty nifty. It smelled delicious but wasn't overpowering and the scent didn't linger onto the skin afterward strongly. My skin felt super soft after using it and very moisturized. The only down part is that there's not many bubbles that stayed. After the bubbles died down and the water cooled I added more hot water to my bath and that revived some bubbles, but not enough to make it a "bubble bath", but more of a soak with light bubbles. It's still a great product, but if you're looking for a giant, plentiful bubble payoff, you might be disappointed.

What a sleeper hit this one was! When I first read about the Yuzu-Cocoa Bubbleroon, I was not at all interested. I don't care much for citrus scents, and out of all the citrus scents there are, orange is my least favourite. I don't dig tropical, I don't like smelling like chocolate, blah blah blah blah...

However, when I visit my favourite LUSH, I do make it a point to pick things up and sniff them. I've been surprised more than once in both directions; Products I thought I'd love turned me off, products I thought I'd hate became favourites, et cetera, et cetera.

The smell of this won me over. Even as I bought it, I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I had to try. I loved it. It's not too orangey, and the cocoa is a very subtle hint rather than a chocolate scent. It is tropical, but not in that cloying, overdone, beach-vacation way. It's a bright, refreshing scent that calls up thoughts of summer, but it's complex enough to where I didn't feel like I was in junior high trying out lotions again.

One of the things I love most about the bubbleroons is how many baths I get out of them! Marketing copy says you can twist them in half for two baths, and that is definitely true, but I seriously get three or four baths out of each bubbleroon without losing a pinch of effectiveness. That alone keeps me coming back for more.

I've purchased this more than once, as I find it's a lovely soak after the beach, or anytime in the summer or when I want to feel energised and bright. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, if only because it won me over despite being made of things I normally don't care for. Softer skin, lovely bubbles, wonderful bang for the buck and a happy smell are just the icing on the, um, macaroon!

I didn't think I would be impressed, but I was. Delicious smell, skin soothing. I didnt want to get out of the tub!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. One of my all time favorites. I break mine into two parts so it lasts longer. I run a hot bath and drop one part into my water and I enjoy a wonderful luxurious bath. It's scent is to die for and it leaves my skin so smooth and silky. It does not give off bubbles, it's more of a milky bath, but I LOVE it.

I just about never review products; ever. But I just stepped out of the bath after using this for the first time and I'm absolutely nuts about it!!! If I knew it was this great I would've bought the whole display! It smells amazing, leaves my skin soft, and made my bathroom smell incredible! It produces lots of bubbles, even for the very small amount I used (my jacuzzi tub may help with that slightly)! If there was a lotion and shampoo with this exact same scent, I'd buy those in a heartbeat as well. This is easily my favorite Lush bath product, hands down. When I first read about it (before I purchased) I was concerned the orange would be overpowering so I knew I would have to make the 90 min. drive to the nearest Lush to smell it. I'm so glad I did because I cannot say enough good things about it! The smell is great and despite the fact that it's fall and my skin is starting to get dry and tight, this left my skin so soft and comfortable. I didn't even need to put lotion on :) I know that I will be putting this in my yankee swap gift at work this christmas!

I put off using this product for a long time because it just made my under-the-sink storage area in my bathroom smell so good! I finally did decide to use it, but only half. It twisted apart very easily, and the other half is still perfuming the air in my cupboard. It did make lots of bubbles (I crumbled it under the running water, and I have a fairly small tub), plenty for me. If I had a deep soaking tub I'd probably want to use the whole thing. I think the water was moisturizing, but not a lot, I still would've used shaving cream if I was shaving my legs (my standard of a really moisturizing bomb/melt is if I can shave without extra product). Maybe it's because I only used half, but it didn't really pigment the water, and it ended up looking just dirty. Once the bubbles had gone away, I really didn't want to soak anymore because it looked like I was soaking in dirty water! I like a loooong soak for my weekly lush baths. The biggest disappointment was the scent. It smelled SOOO lovely in my cupboard, but I could barely notice the scent in the bath. It just wasn't strong enough for me. I probably wouldn't purchase this again. I'm not a huge fan of bubbles anyway, I'll probably stick with regular bath bombs and melts.

I used half of the product, like the woman in the store suggested, and at first I crumbled it under the running water and found that the bubbles weren't that spectacular, but the water was a very pretty color. The second time around I decided to just leave it whole and put it in a strainer that I held under the running water.
The second time I really noticed the bubbles. They covered my tub and were even beginning to spill over a bit onto the edges.

The scent was fantastic and I really enjoyed my bath. Little to no residue was left for the second bath but the color of the water was not as orangey looking.

this smells so darn good! it is something that everyone runs to smell when i bring home! however... it barely bubbles. that makes me sad. it has a layer of coconut (i think) jam the middle for an awesome moisture content, but that apparently stops the bubbling action. for the price, i want a million bubbles!

I used this product 8 hours ago and the scent is still lingering on my skin (although it's very feint now). It's such a great smell that I honestly didn't care that there weren't any bubbles. I think it's my fault though that there weren't any bubbles. I didn't drop it under running water. I filled the tub up first then stopped the water, twisted it in half and put in one half of it. My bad. So I crumbled the little ball of moisturizing heaven and rubbed half of it all over my body and let the rest sit in the water. It dissolved and left a really pretty orange color and left my skin feeling very moisturized and silky. The smell was very relaxing as well. I took the bath originally to shave my legs and after soaking in this lovely bath for 20 minutes, I was able to shave my legs without any shaving cream or soap! And I have very sensitive legs :)

I can't put into words how amazing the smell is!

I needed a hit bath because I was stressed at the moment. I went to my LUSH pile of bath products and took this Yuzu and Cocoa product because of its great smell. It does not make much bubbles or change much of the water color but the smell is just great. It was still smelling a day later in my tub.

I've been a Lush addict for thirteen years, and I haven't been this thrilled with a product since the first time I tried a Big Blue bath bomb.

I bought this little beauty on a whim, and after trying it tonight, I'm buying at least seven or eight more. Up until now, I swore by Lush's neroli/orange blossom bath products as the antidote to a truly unpleasant day, but much as I adore Dorothy and Happy, it is literally impossible to feel depressed, down, morose, mopey, melancholy, or anything remotely negative when you're in a tub full of Yuzu and Cocoa bubbles.

This bar smells like a perfectly balanced fusion of orange and coconut, with just a hint of chocolate. The scent lingers on your skin for hours afterwards, and it makes the entire house smell like sunshine.
Unlike some bubble-bath products, Yuzu and Cocoa is also sublimely moisturizing. Another reviewer described it as a cross between a bath melt and a bubble bar, and she was exactly right.

The bubbles themselves are plentiful and silky, and they last a long, long time.

I can't say enough great things about this bubble bar! It is seriously my favorite guilty pleasure from Lush!

I was SO exited to use this product (the first bubble bar i have used), i could barely wait the drive home from lush to take a bath with this. the actual product smelled so good, i couldnt stop sneaking a sniff of it! One of the employees at Lush said i only had to use half of it, so i did. I crumbled it under running water, but i might not have crumbled it well enough because there were tons of icky chunks at the bottom of my bath. There wasnt too many bubbles and they didnt last very long. Most dissapointing, i could not smell the product in my bath at all!

I of course break it into two bath, could possibly make it four. Crumble under the water. This is an awesome smell and I just got three more!

I have to put aside the fact that this smells so great, because the product does not do what it is supposed to. This only produced a few initial bubbles, but they were all gone within moments. So sad!

Yuzu and Cocoa had a smell that was absolutely divine both out and in the water. The best part about it was how the rich chocolate and creamy citrus aroma stayed on my skin after I toweled off. I definitely felt the cocoa butter that was present in the water softening my skin as I enjoyed a relaxing soak. The bubble bar also turned my water a really mellow orange sherbet color.

That being said, I was very disappointed with the bubbles, or lack there of. Even using the whole bar and following the directions of crumbling it up where the water is running, Yuzu and Cocoa produced very few bubbles and they did not last very long. I would say that it produced more of a thin layer of froth than bubbles.

End points: ineffective as a bubble bar, totally effective as a great smelling moisturizer. The chocolate creamsicle scent is enough to make me consider purchasing Yuzu and Cocoa again.

I love this product because it smells soooo good, like orange creamsicle with a hint of coco, and because it gives you about 4 baths. You twist it in half then cut the halves in half which is pretty good for such a small bubble bar!

i use a lot of lush bubble bars and i have to say next to comforter this is the best smelling one so far! i wasn't too sure about it by the description but i decided to give it a try anyways and i was SO happy i did cause it smells amazing like a tropical paradise in your bathroom this is a definite must have for me now! <3

I probably wouldn't get this again, because I like my bubble baths to last a little while, but I really liked the smell and my skin is very soft.
