White Horehound infusion (Marrubium vulgare)

The white horehound plant, belonging to the Labiatae, is a small herb that grows up to 3 feet tall with small white and green leaves and white flowers.

It is native to Europe, North Africa and Asia, but we currently buy ours from Europe.

Horehound was used in the Ancient Egypt as a cough remedy. It is still used for this purpose today.
