5 Ways to Celebrate Dad this Father's Day

We’ve just treated our Mums to a showering of love and affection on Mother’s Day, now it’s time to do the same for Dad! Father’s Day is our opportunity to celebrate Dads, father figures and all the men who have inspired and nurtured us over the years. We COULD get Dad another wacky tie for his collection, but this year we’ve got a few ideas up our sleeve to make this Father’s Day the most memorable one yet!

1. Burger & brew

What better way to spend quality time with Dad than at a craft brewery? Head to a local brewpub for a tour, then sample some of their finest offerings. Make sure to call ahead to make a reservation—they may be busy on Father’s Day. No breweries nearby? Fire up the grill at home! Check out our delicious LUSH barbeque recipes and don’t forget to pick up Dad’s favorite brew to enjoy together.

2. Fresh-faced

Treat Dad to some luxurious LUSH skincare. Pick out one of our lavish shaving creams like Prince: its soothing blend of cocoa butter and beeswax softens skin and allows for a close, comfortable shave. Next, a gentle facial moisturizer like Cosmetic Lad, with fresh aloe and chamomile, will soothe Dad’s skin post-shave and keep it smooth and hydrated all day long. His skin will thank you!

3. Let the games begin

If Dad is a sports fan, surprise him with a pair of tickets to a local sporting event. Whether it’s a professional organization or an amateur city league, the fun atmosphere and quality time spent together will make for a fantastic Father’s Day outing. If you’re more of an active duo, break out the ol’ baseball gloves for a game of catch, or hit the driving range to practice your golf swing.

4. Long distance date

Dad doesn’t live nearby? Don’t worry—thanks to the wonders of technology you can still spend some quality time together this Father’s Day. Set up a Skype date or video call and chat over coffee or dinner. Who knows, maybe it will turn into a regular tradition!

5. On the big screen

For a truly relaxing Father’s Day, settle in together and watch one of Dad’s favorite movies. Whether it’s a brand new sci-fi thriller at the local theatre, or a kung-fu VHS from the 80s, let Dad choose… and try not to roll your eyes!
