Julia, or Lazer Wolf as she's more commonly known around LUSH HQ, is the LUSH Times Editor and manager of the LUSH Copy Team. Her LUSH roots began four years ago at the Victoria, BC shop as a Bath Bomb detonating, bubble blowing, dancing machine. She now spends her days collaborating with fellow writers and designers to create fresh LUSH Times editions, web copy and in-store signage. When she's not writing and editing LUSH prose, you might find her engaging in fierce lazer tag battles, belting out a karaoke tune (Tina Turner, always) or doting over her beloved kitty, Luba.

We believe in love

Ethical Campaigns

This Valentine’s Day, the world spotlight will be on the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. We stand with all citizens who are calling on the Russian government to stop fueling anti-gay violence.

On June 29th 2013, Russia's parliament passed and signed into law anti-gay legislation that prohibits "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations around minors". Since the law's passing, there has been a dramatic rise in violence and aggression towards the LGBT community. The Russian government is not only encouraging the discrimination against their own citizens, but has refused to protect the visiting LGBT Olympic athletes from around the world.

At LUSH, we believe that love belongs to everybody.  You can show your support by sharing your sign of love! Simply draw a pink triangle on your body (an internationally recognized symbol of gay rights), snap a selfie showing off your triangle, and post it online with the hashtag #signoflove.

We’ve partnered with All Out, a global non-profit community created to give people everywhere the ability to help win equality for LGBT people in every country in the world. Their mission is “to build a world where no person will have to sacrifice family or freedom, safety or dignity, because of who they are or whom they love.”
