Starting today, November 1st, snap a picture of your FUN creation, upload it on our entry page and get your friends to vote on it. The photo with the most votes wins the grand prize.

The LUSH FUNd: Spreading the FUN
Life at LUSH is crazy, inventive and tons of fun, and we love sharing that with our customers and staff.
And when you're having fun and making a product called FUN, it seems only right to spread the fun when there might not be quite so much of it where it's most needed. We've decided to create a global FUNd, supported by 2.5% of the total sales from the first year of FUN.
LUSH is a growing business, but it still feels like a family - a bigger, global family. The devastating 2011 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster in Japan affected the entire country, including our LUSH family in Japan. It was the largest earthquake (recorded) to have ever hit Japan. While the country is slowly being rebuilt, some effects of the disaster are harder to overcome.
Through our visits to Japan and the previous work we did with NGOs, we became aware that the situation for children in the affected areas is still very far from retuning to the normal fun of childhood. The children of the Fukushima area in particular are severely affected – where very real concerns over radiation levels mean that playing outside is too dangerous.
Despite decontamination efforts, many school playgrounds remain off limits and outdoor play in streets and parks is not possible - meaning that children are playing alone in their houses on computers more and more while exercise, and playing with friends is severely reduced.
We'll be working with NGOs and groups in the area to seek our suitable projects to fund. Like Charity Pot, we favor small grassroots commun...
