Easter inventions: fresh from our imagination
Here at LUSH, we invent our own products and fragrances. It isn't always easy to come up with fresh new ideas year after year, but luckily we get inspired by nearly everything: nature, cultural traditions, music, pop culture and our lovely customers. Wondering what inspired our new Easter treats? Read on!
The Brightside bubble bar
A groovy, swirly bubble bar inspired by The Monty Python film "Life of Brian". Its fresh, uplifting aroma is fondly referred to by Mark, the creator as "triple orange" because of its Sicilian mandarin, tangerine and bergamot oils and is meant to keep you looking on the bright side of life.
The Carrot reusable bubble bar
We know the Easter bunny's favorite snack is a carrot, so we need to have this one around at Easter time to lure him in! Buchu, lemon and bergamot oils create a fresh, fruity fragrance (not at all like a real carrot) to elevate spirits and inspire thoughts of spring.

The Carrot reusable bubble bar: a fruity lemon and bergamot bubbler that can be used to brighten up several baths. It looks just like a certain crunchy source of vitamin A… We won’t tell if you cheat and use this one towards your daily vegetable intake!

The cooperative employs about eighty individuals who come from disadvantaged social and financial circumstances. Upon gaining employment with the Re-Wrap cooperative, they receive on-the-job training in traditional weaving and embroidery techniques, and reliable, profitable work that allows them to gain financial independence.

The Twilight Zone
On a dark stormy night, deep in the LUSH labs, two of our crazed inventors were working to magically transform some of our most popular fragrances into new products.
In one room an inventor, driven mad by customer requests for more products with the scent of Twilight Bath Bomb, finally achieved the impossible; Twilight shower gel was born! A deep purple color and a twinkling lustre recreate the eerie hour between sundown and nightfall, and just like the ephemeral time of Twilight, this gel will only be around for a short time!
Right next door, another inventor was brewing something up. Obsessed with the fragrance of our Calacas shower jelly, he decided to bring it back again this Halloween. But that wasn't enough, he wanted more Calacas! The mad inventor spent all night pouring the scent from beaker to bubbling beaker, looking to transform the lime and neroli oil perfume into something for the bath. Lightning struck, thunder rumbled, baking soda was pressed and finally, the Enchanter Bath Bomb was revealed!
