Since 1975, the Pacific People’s Partnership has been supporting the aspirations of Pacific Islanders for peace, justice, environmental sustainability and development. PPP works with Indigenous and civil society partners across the Small Island Developing States of the South Pacific (Melanesia, Polynesia and Micronesia) to engage communities in harnessing their own creativity to address poverty, environmental degradation and loss of culture.
Funds from Charity Pot will go towards the cost of building five women’s training centers in West Papua. These centers will be used as human rights training locations and small co-op stalls. Funds will also go towards supporting the international Bike Tour for Human Rights in West Papua.
