Benzyl Benzoate

Benzyl benzoate is clear, colourless and has a faint balsamic odor.

It occurs naturally in essential oils, and is found in Ylang ylang, Rosewood, Cinnamon and Benzoin.

By law, we are required to display which fragrance materials we use in products. Benzyl benzoate, for example, must be listed whether it is a naturally occurring constituent of an essential oil, or added as an ingredient itself. This allows people with allergies to make informed choices with our products.

The Founders of tLUSH formulate both the fragrances and the products, taking immense pride in doing so. This gives us complete control over our products, allowing us to use Benzyl benzoate, among others, as a fragrance material.

Benzyl benzoate has excellent solvent properties, and can be used to dissolve other perfume materials.

It is found in both our Honey Bee Bath Bomb and Ma Bar bubble bar, adding to their deliciously sweet fragrances.

As a constituent of Cinnamon leaf oil, it is also found in our New shampoo bar, H’suan Wen H’ua hair treatment and Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar..

Our Melting Marshmallow Moment bath melt also contains a little Benzyl benzoate for fragrance, creating an indulgent and sweet treat for the bath.
