Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis) ingredient image

Organic orange oil is much more expensive than standard orange oil; we currently use it in our Soil Association certified, organic Therapy massage bar for an uplifting and therapeutic massage experience.

Organic orange oil is used by aromatherapists for its antiviral and antidepressant properties, ideal for treating depression and in helping to boost the immune system.

Organic sweet orange oil (Citrus aurantium dulcis) is obtained from the peel of the fruits from the citrus sinensis trees, part of the plant family Rutaceae.

The main constituents are limonene and pinene.

The oil has a very refreshing, sweet and tangy aroma and is a golden yellow color.

The organic oil is extracted through the method of cold expression. We use sweet orange oil, both Brazilian and Sweet Wild West Indian.

These trees have been cultivated without the use of pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides.
