Glycol Cetearate

Glycol cetearate is a water-soluble, odorless, clear and viscous liquid. It is often used with, or in place of, glycerine in cosmetics and toiletries.

It is an emollient (softening and conditioning) ingredient and is used to stabilize emulsions.

We use glycol cetearate in our Ocean Salt cleanser as an emollient in combination with the tougher ingredients (sea salt) to give you softer skin that feels refreshed by the sea itself.

Daddy-O shampoo contains glycol cetearate to keep the formulation stable, and to give an emollient quality to the shampoo that softens and conditions the hair.
