I can't live without mud flats! I have very dry skin and it's the only soap I've tried that is so gentle and soft. I love the earthy smell (I don't smell the lemons at all). It also is great for getting rid of tiny blemishes (esp. chest area) and helps get rid of scaly/drin skin. No, it does not lather (it's mud! I don't think it's meant to lather), but it is cleansing and smells great. It's also great for feet and underarms. LOVE IT!

This was a nice soap however, i found it smelt alot like lemons and not herbs as I had hoped :( It cleaned effectively and definitely reduced the spots on my arms. The only thing I would change is to make the smell more earthy/herbal

I love this soap it smells so fresh and clean and I like the scent very earthy and natural!

When I first got it in it's cute little box I wondered why? Now I know I keep it by the shower because in the shower I apply this to my back and neck and even spot treatments on my face. I take a little bit and rub it into the spot and let it sit a bit then I wash it off with a LUSH cleanser. It's a great summer soap because it gets feet nice and fresh!

I gave a sample to my friend she can't get enough of the scent:) This is a great soap I will continue to use it.

I received this as a sample today with my Lush order. I went to shower with it...and there was no later. I mean none, at all. The smell is great though and I did feel clean, but not as clean as if there would have been any bubbles. The smell is great though. A nice wake-me-up. Wonder if I got a sample from an off batch though.

I love, love, love this soap. It smells amazing and it has definitely improved the look and feel of my skin since I've been using it. The ONLY thing is that it's not lasting very long. It is a great product though and I will buy it again.

I always have the hardest time with soaps, because they tend to make my psoriasis worse. This soap, however, is the only thing I have found that has been able to clear it up. I don't get any weird allergic reactions to it, and it's so gentle that I can even wash my face with it! This is by far the best soap ever made, and I recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it.

I was so excited to use this soap, then it arrived at my house. I opened the container it came in and it smells disgusting. If thats what an herbal scent is, wow!! It is like lemon and herbal grossness combined. I will never recomend this soap to anyone!

I love this soap! I was looking for a clean smelling soap and this one did not disappoint! It has a clean, bold scent, but the mud is so nice for your skin and there are just too many great things about this product. Truly, it's a wonderful smell on guys - especially my guy and works well with the scrubby shower poufs and cloths.I love to use this soap to balance out after a hard workout too. D Best!

I got this as a free sample with an order from LUSH a little while back. A little definitely goes a long way with this stuff. I was breaking out on my shoulders quite a bit when I first got this stuff, so I decided what the heck why not try it. After about a week or so my shoulders definitely started to clear up. And I had been using an anti acne body wash for a couple weeks prior to that with no quick result. The only thing I didn't really like is it didn't seem to rinse off 100%, after I rinsed it off I scrubbed down my shoulders with body wash to make sure to get all of it. But I love the smell and definitely will get it again.

I've used this soap since I became a Lush customer, and my wife sent it to me while I was deployed in Afghanistan. Best smelling infantryman ever! I'm still a little disappointed it's not easily purchased at the retail locations anymoe.

I received this soap as a sample and I loved it. The scent was great. It was wonderful at getting rid of my blackheads while not drying my skin. One down side is that it seems to go quickly (I now simply pinch off a dime size amount per wash to conserve). The other down side is that now that I've tried it I'm hooked and will have to purchase more.

I bought mud flats to use on body acne because I was using drug store items that just werent working for me. But from using this soap in the shower i can tell a difference. The acne is starting to go away! Great for anyone who wants to get rid of acne!

I love this soap! It is the only soap that I have used from Lush that leaves my skin feeling clean and soft! I have been buying it for a couple of years and would buy huge hunks at the store! I was very disappointed when it was put to retro! Since I have still ordered it and think it melts a lot easier now than when I first bought it but I still love it! Hope they can fix that problem but I will continue to love this soap and use it.

I recieved a sample of this in my most recent Lush order, and while I've heard good things about their soaps with Rhassoul mud, this one was just AWFUL. It smells like lemmon pepper, and not in a good way. It also did not lather very easily and left my skin feeling almost rubbery. You'd be better off buying the Waylander Rhassoul soap because this one is terrible. No wonder it's Retro.

Yaaaaaay! I'm so happy Mud Flats is back! The first time I tried it was just before it was discontinued, and I really liked it.

As soon as I saw that it was back I ordered a bar. When it arrived I opened it and got that wonderful scent again. (smells lemony to me) It seems much creamier now which only adds to the whole washing with mud experience. The creaminess and the scent is wonderful and my skin feels so soft after using it.

I really love this soap. I don't know why it feels so good on my skin, but it does. (now my Mom can't tell me to stop playing in the mud!)

This cleared up my body acne GREAT! It had a pleasant smell, the only con is that it melted like crazy. I kept it in the plastic tin it came with, but it still was a mush after hot showers. I would recommend you try this at least once is you have body acne.

lush, if you see this please never get rid of this staple soap! its so great on my skin, feels and smells awesome and really clears up body breakouts, i wish i had a lush store close to me so i could buy a large amount. i will fore sure be buying two bars on my next order.

Bought this soap to help alleviate my "backne," and so far am still waiting to see results. (It's been about five days.) If it ends up working, I'll be stoked, but man this soap STINKS! I know some people really like it, but I find it to be incredibly strong and strange for a soap. It does smell distinctly like fresh ginger. The texture is really soft, so put it in a soap box or soap saver. Lathers a lot better than some other Lush soaps I've tried and leaves the skin feeling clean but not tight or dry. Like I said, if it ends up clearing my skin, I'll be coming back for more, smelliness be darned.

This is NOT the same as the product that got discontinued--I had a little of the original left over so I can compare. The biggest change is that the Retro product has a truly FOUL smell--the original was herbal, this one is nasty and medicinal and makes me nauseous. Also, the product as it arrives is way too soft to use--I left finger dents in it and bits kept falling off. I had optimistically ordered three of these so I'm curing the other two in hopes of hardening them, but nothing can fix that repulsive smell--and I adored the smell of the original product.

Never in my life have i had a soap treat me so wonderfully. This soap not only smells and feels fantastic, it has given me my skin back. no more hiding my back and shoulders and the inevitable spots that were constant since my teens. I am happy to say my skin is lovely and soft and clear. I can't tell my horror at finding my soap in shining armor had been discontinued. There may have even been tears. My family bought the remaining stock from the store near us for my birthday present. As i see the end of my stash dwindling away i am delighted to find this product on retro lush. It really is my skin saver!
