It's pretty simple to just drop it in the tub. I love the color, the smell, (the price!). BUT, the only reason I used this, was because it was broken! I originally bought it not even a week ago for a Christmas present to a friend of mine. But, while I was packaging all the presents into bags, I opened a lush bag to see the Dragon's Egg broke in half! I could see inside it, there were some white chunks left in the bag, and I'm sure that's why it didn't swirl in the tub. It kinda just fell apart, then those pieces swirled individually. But hey, it was probably my fault for putting it near so many things. I bet if you use it soon after buying, or you keep it in a safe place, this won't happen to you!

It just smells wonderful. The smell alone makes it worth it, but the spactacular show it provides seals the deal. It's mesmerizing!

I bought this bath bomb when I bought my Freedom Foamer Bubble Bar, because the salesperson told me they went well together - I wasn't planning on buying it otherwise. Boy, am I glad I bought it! This is my favorite bath bomb ever. Sure, the glitter may be a little messy after the bath, but the gorgeous swirls you get in your bath makes that totally worth it. It didn't take long for me to clean up, maybe 30 seconds.

This was the by far coolest bath bomb I have ever used. It started off with some great smelling fizz and released some jelly like confetti pieces, after about 15 minutes it started fizzing bright orange and red ( with the white part cracking off like a real egg would do when hatching) and the after about 10 minutes, released a ton of bright gold sparkles ( my favorite part!). It smelled amazing and left me with golden sparkly water. It lasted a long time and left me smelling great I only wish it would have made me glittery instead of the tub. Cleanup was a breeze, I just ran some water in the tub and the leftover glittery went right down the drain.

Itsa long lasting bomb that lulls you into relaxation then begins to emit a fire tail of glitter that does look like a dragon. I love this and it goes well with orange blossum perfume. Candle light is perfect for this!

Dragon's Egg is the mother load of all bath bombs. Everything you ever wanted in a bath bomb, this one has got it. Hand's down, my favorite Lush bath bomb. Actually, it was the first bath bomb that I used. I even called over my mom into my bathroom because it looked so amazing!

Firstly, the smell is wonderful. It's citrusy and feminine. The scent is well-balanced; it's neither overpowering or weak. It's definitely a nice little nudge to the senses. And, after you step out, the scent lingers in your skin as well. I couldn't stop smelling myself!

Aesthetically, it's BEAUTIFUL. It swirls in this scene of white and orange, like a glittery melted bowl of orange-sicles. And huge pieces of rice paper confetti (that dissolve!) that dots the white foam with bits of playful color.

Also, as a note, there is no such bath that doesn't require cleaning after you've finished soaking. Like, you've never left a tub-ring? C'mon!!! So, despite this product being named after a mythical creature, don't expect Dragon's Egg to magically clean the tub after you've finished. Lush did their best to provide us with a fun product and it really IS a fun product. They did everyone a favor by making their confetti dissolvable. And I was told they use a special grade of cosmetic glitter that tries its best not to cling to your tub but all these fantastic oils in the bomb, it's inevitable to NOT get a little residue.

Take it for what it is. So what if you had to rinse off after it? You will have fun during your bath. You'll come out smelling great, lightly sprinkled in glitter, and definitely relaxed!

This is my first Lush product and it convinced me to buy more! I bought this a day before I used it and it was amazing! First there was this swirly white water then suddenly comes a burst of color and scent! (The smell was like lemon with a hint of orange)Then came the trail of gold glitter which actually did not leave the tub residue for me. It was SOOO relaxing and I swear I can still smell it on me! The water was beautiful but when I got out the tub at the end, it looked a little like pee :P Thanks for making this bath bomb, Lush! x <3

I used the whole bath bomb as I like to use a lot of water in my bath and found the bath bomb took a good 10 or 15 minutes to dissolve. I can't say that's a con or pro, because Dragon's Egg is my first bath bomb. It's very pretty [the glitters and all] though I think it gives a weird color off. I didn't notice a difference for my skin, but still, I'd recommend this lush product to a friend.

This is the first time I've tried this bath bomb and I loved it. It lasted a long time and turned my bath water a lovely orange shaded. My only complaint is that the glitter center makes clean up a little difficult. Will definitely buy again though!

Just put it in the bath with you, and its explodes! Not literally, but color after color emerges. Seriously, you think its done, but then a new color pops, and your water is turned the color. I loved the sparkles, it really spiced up my bath. But don't get the wrong idea, its still relaxing, and smells amazingly citrusy! No regrets!

Put this in the tub and it spins, pops, and fizzes while orange shimmering bubbles shoot out the sides. I could instantly feel that my skin was getting slippery and silky and the scent that it puts off is absolutely out of this world! when i finally convinced myself to get out of the tub my skin was silky smooth, and I had to make the comment that I don't think I have ever smelled better! This is a definite repurchase ASAP! Do not miss out on this one.

I was getting ready to go for a nice dinner out, so I decided, hey, why not use my bath bomb?
My only experience with any glitter Lush products was the Sunny Side bar, and was pleased with that, but wanted a bit more glitter!
The Dragon's Egg bath bomb delivered, and had both a pleasurable bath time experience, and a wonderful, sparkly, absolutely RADIANT effect on my skin.
Every time the light hit my skin, it sparkled perfectly. I LOVED IT.
I will DEFINITELY buy this again.

This may be my favorite bath bomb. I did not know it had glitter the first time I used it, and so it was a fun glittery surprise! It was scented just the right amount, and the scent lasted until I washed my tub the next day. It lasted forever, so make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy it.

I wasn't sure if I'd like this, so I never ordered one until I was finally able to smell one in person...and wow! I bought 3! None of them made it home in the baggage *despite being packed snugly and padded well* so I was a bit sad, but quickly cheered up when I saw how cool it would still be. If you get one that's cracked, I really enjoyed fizzing the white shell first, then popping in the other part. The white part smells delicious and sweet....then the inside...it EXPLODES into a froth of the brightest orange fizz, foam and glitter! It's incredible! I'd buy it even if it was only the inside part! Yes, there's lots of glitter, but you can always rinse off afterwards, and rinse the bottom of your tub off then too...easy peasy! It's totally worth the minute of extra tub cleaning! *which I didn't really mind at all...in fact, one night I left the glitter and had a pretty bath the next day too!* this is absolutely my favorite bomb!

i love this bath bomb. i never took baths until i bought this bath bomb.it does make a little mess in the tub, but if you spray it down all the glitter goes away! overall best lush product ever!

I got this as a gift and I was not expecting much. The bath bomb had a dull scent and was mostly white, but, when I popped it in the tub the aroma intensified. It was kind of a really fruity citrus scent. It swirled around with white and orange and pops of little green and pink flecks. Then at the center it shot out bright golden glitter, the only thing I didn't like was the bath color (kind of a weird orange) and the clean up.

i love this bomb it fools you but then the bomb starts to fizz and wonderful colors of orange, red and some blue start to swirl out and then to my surprise an amazing sparkle appears along with what looks like little flowers and it makes you feel so great and you wont want to leave the tub. The glitter will need to be rinsed out several times but no biggie so worth it.

I have tried most of the Lush bath bombs, by far this one is my favorite. I love the glitter and do not find it makes a very big mess.I totally know what I am getting into and love every minute of it;)I stock up each time I am near one of there locations. It is bittersweet when I use the last of my stores, but on the upside it means trip to my favorite store about a 45 min commute but it is worth it:)

This is my first bomb and a great introduction into LUSH products. The Dragon's Egg looks a bit plain on the outside, but once it hits water it reveals its orange and gold core that truly looks magical.

There are two types of glitter in this bomb, one's a medium/small cosmetic glitter (like in eyeshadow glitter) and the other is a shimmer (like if you put shimmery eyeshadow in water). I didn't find either to be a major problem... it washes away from the tub after a rinse but there was a small bit left on the skin. There were some jelly-ish bits that look like jellyfish floating around in the water but they didn't bother me. They were fun to break up with my fingers as I sat in the tub.

Did I mention that my skin and bathroom smell great? I wish I could get this as a perfume!
