I used this soap for the first time and loved it! I was skeptical of the banana smell but when I used it actually was not too overwhelming which was great! It felt natural and made my skin feel soft and moisturized, would buy it again!

It was my very first purchase from Lush and I have to say I LOVED it! The smell is truely addictive and I have to refrain myself from taking showers all the time.
I wish it stayed even longer on my skin but I'm sure I'd look stupid smelling my hands all the time!

When I first got this, I was disappointed with the smell, until I actually used it. When it's dry, it smells a little like rotten bananas, but when it's wet, it smells amazing! Great soap, I felt completely relaxed and clean. I used it all over my body, and it hasnt gotten any smaller, so i think it'll last a while!

I love anything banana-scented. I had both Gumback Express and Sympathy for the Skin and loved them both, but Banana Moon had only the faintest of faint banana smell to it. Mostly it smellt of anise, which I hate. I made it halfway through a shower with it and tossed it. I have a very sensitive nose, so maybe it's just me who detected a subtle fragrance that I hated. Or maybe just a bad batch.

This soap smells like you could eat it! It's definitely bananas for banana. I use body butters in the shower because I find that all soap period dries out my skin too much...but this one doesn't dry out my hands as much as others did.

the smell of this soap was AWFUL. Thankfully, it was rather faint -- but it absolutely smelled like rotten banana. Never again.

I received this soap as a sample with another product and fell in love. I ordered a bar a week later and couldn't wait to jump in the shower with it! It smells delicious, but my skin felt very dry and tight when I got out of the shower. After 4 uses, it was almost gone. I also wished the scent stayed on my body longer, but it was almost gone as soon as I was done towel drying off. As much as I love the smell, I wouldn't buy this again, as it is not worth the money since it doesn't last very long.

I got this as a sample soap. If I use my imagination, I can smell banana mixed with jasmine tea. The scent was strong enough in the shower to give me a mini-headache. The scent does linger on your skin long after the bath is over and smells sort of like a fruity jasmine tea. I'd not buy this soap on purpose. It's just not a very "me" scent. To each their own.

I LOOOVE banana moon soap!! The smell is wonderful and it doesn't dry out your skin. I was devastated when they told me it was discontinued. I'm extremely happy to see it on the retro page :) Totally stocking up!

I love this soap! I only use Lush products and have tried almost all of the soaps and this one is by far the creamiest and most moisturizing. I have eczema and my skin dries out very easily but not with Banana Moon. And any complaints about it not lathering truly dont matter! Think about it......if a pile of mashed bananas started foaming youd think something was wrong yes? The small amount of soap makes some bubbles but the bananas make it so creamy and delicious! This soap is real food for your skin.

I actually got this product as a sample in my order. It smells exactly like ripe bananas. I mean EXACTLY. So if you are looking for that soapy smell, dont get it. I ended up hanging it on my razor rack to dry, because the second I set it down a puddle of soap formed. I wish the smell lasted after you used it though. It has little black things in it, so its almost exfoilating. It is a very nice soap if your gaga for bananas.

The scent of this soap is very faint (thankfully) but what there is for scent is terribly nasty. It totally smells faintly like rotten bananas...and I LOVE banana smell. This misses completely.

I was SO disappointed when they stopped selling this soap in the LUSH stores! It was the one soap I would buy in bulk - seriously!

While I can't say it smells "just like banana," it does smell fabulous! I used to use it in the morning, and while working (at a desk), if I turned my head down to write, or whatever, I could smell the soap on my chest/neck. It was the first soap I've ever purchased that I could smell for much of the day.

I think it's also a "hint" that the soap is good that it is often out of stock on the Retro page. This is the first time I've ever been able to BUY some! Maybe one day, they'll sell it in the stores again!!! (hint, hint!)

I bought this soap for my daughter, and she seems to like it alot. However, if you do not like strong scents - do not buy this soap. It really packs a punch!! It smells like a ton of fresh bananas concentrated into a small soap. VERY concentrated.

Apart from the super strong smell, its very creamy and moisturizing, and the scent doesnt seem to be strong on the skin (just on the bar). I would recommend this for kids, banana lovers, or if you're in need of some flexibility and moisturization in your skin!

If you're a fan of any scent bananas, then this is for you! It's the first product I've tried from LUSH and I love it! It doesn't exactly smell like authentic bananas, but more like banana with an extra spice. The scent does not last long after the shower, but I really loved the way it worked in the shower. The exfoliating feel from the parts in the soap felt great!

I have recently discovered Lush and am in love with almost all of their products, however, this soap is just not for me. It has the wonderful traditional Lush lather but the scent does nothing for me and it faintly smells like bananas

I was interested to try this as a sample. The smell is underwhelming. I wouldn't order it as there's nothing very special about it for me. I like bananas but I'm not bananas about them! ;p
