Make sure your body is completely wet first. If your at the pool hop in the shower really quick and get the glorious mud and get it a little wet first. Then rub it all over your body. I tried this at the pool today and laid out in the sun. Then I took a shower and washed the mud off and my skin feels so soft!

Okay so I have tried this product two different ways now. They tell you to just scrub it on in the shower but that was a little rough on my skin. When I got it the second time I decided to actually break apart the brick and mix it with a little bit of water to really make a mask! It does take a little more time but I didn't need to scrub so hard to feel like it was really working. I just rubbed it all over my skin from the neck down and rinsed in the shower! It makes all of my skin feel so soft...especially when I follow with my favorite massage bar! It's also super fun spreading mud all over your body since you probably haven't done that since you were two;) Yes it does seem kind of messy but if you do this in the shower it all washes away easily so I don't know why everyone complains! It smells divine and I will definitely purchase this again...I'll just use it my way.:)

I got this product a couple days ago and was so excited to use it. However I was disappointed. The product was very harsh and hurt my skin. It left my shower floor covered in mud. And when I rinsed it off my skin didn't feel any different.

I almost didn't buy this because I read about how messy it is, but I'm glad I took the plunge. YES, it is messy, but if you use it in the shower it all rinses down and doesn't really make a mess in the end. I primarily use this on my legs, because they used to get so dry and scaly from shaving. this makes them so smooth I can't stop touching them all day. It's also fun to be able to smear mud all over yourself and feel like a kid. One of my new fave Lush products.

Glorious mud is amazing! it very messy but it is worth it in the end my skin is so soft and it smells amazing! i used it 2 times with one block and the 1st time i used a soap after the scrub my skin didnt not feel different but i decided to try it again with out a soap after the scrub and my skin is so soft i can't stop rubbing my body

This is a great product to use before AND after exfoliation. It makes skin super smooth. After rinsing, there's this sort of greasy, sticky feeling... ignore it! When you're dry, your skin will be super smooth and there's a lovely hint of scent on it.

Make sure you have enough time to kill when using this. The longer you leave it on, the better results you get. A little goes a long way as well. It's a great treat for any tired skin. Invigorating!

This product is great! So fun for a special treat :) It is kind of messy but all of it washes right down the drain. I washed my body then shut off the water and smoothed this over my skin and left it on for 5 minutes before turning the shower back on. It got all over my tub but it washed away with no problems. This was a very fun to use product and great for a special treat. I recommend putting on a lush face mak too while letting this body mask sit ;)

I have keratosis pilaris on my upper arms, and have tried dozens of expensive creams and scrubs meant to help. After using this just once there is a SIGNIFICANT decrease in the number of bumps, and my arms look much better.

This is how I use it: I put it in a little dish and cut off about 1/3 of the bar to use. I put the rest in a small tupperware container to keep. I take the dish in the shower with me, wet my skin, and the bar. Then I turn off the water and scrub all over my skin, concentrating on my arms and any dry spots. Wait a few minutes, and then rinse my skin (and the shower-it gets all over, but it's easy to rinse off). My skin feels so silky! I love it!

Have been wanting to try this for a long time and finally decided to buy it. Used it once so far and not too impressed. It's so messy! Got all over my bathroom floor and sink. When you wet the block, it fizzes like it says, but only a very small layer so you have to keep wetting it and applying. All it did for me was make my skin smell good.

I love these so much I have a little tub I keep them in so when they crumble you still have it to slather all over.

This is what I do I have mine in my little tupperware and once I'm wet I turn the water off and open my tub and begin to rub. This way all the little pieces that fall off you can get them on your skin. I spread it very lightly and I find I get a deep clean. I leave it on for about 5 minutes while I condition my hair(Lush of course) Turn on water and rinse I find if you do a cool rinse at the end it kind of tightens and tones the skin leaving a healthy glow!

This smells yummy and leaves my skin so soft! Love this product!

This is a fun product! It fizzes up like a bath bomb when you get it wet, which is both entertaining and useful. Smoothing it on could not be easier, and a little goes a long way. My skin was super soft and soothed after using this mask. It was great for a little treat for my body after getting too much sun. Definitely a great deal!

I use it in the shower on my face and body. I LOVE the scent and it makes me feel so clean and soft afterward. I personally like that it falls apart easily, because I just keep it in a body butter tin, and it's easy to grab a handful, mix with a little water, and rub all over. It's a little messy, but that doesn't bother me at all. A few swishes with some water and it's down the drain. Now I want LUSH to make a dead sea salt and rhassoul mud mask just for face! Woot!

I received this product as a sample from my local Lush. At first, I was a bit hesitant on using it because I heard how crumbly it can be. So, I decided to beat it to the punch and broke it down into powder that I can just shake into my hand while in the shower. What a great product! It fizzed in my hand when added to a bit of water and I was able to smooth it over my arms and chest with ease. And when I rinsed off... WOW!!! Incredibly smooth skin! Thank you, Lush, for making Glorious Mud!

I use this product in the shower because it is VERY messy. That said, this product is a lot of fun. It is a little rough, so be gentle when you use it or you may irritate your skin. Once you get started, the bar starts to fizz, so it adds a bit of fun to the exfoliating process.
I don't know that this is necessarily a "must have" item, but it sure is great for a nice, relaxing shower treat. Plus, it smells good without having a strong scent, so those who are sensitive to smells won't have a problem with it.

I can't stop smelling my arm! I'm totally in love with this product. From now on it is a MUST have. My skin is so soft and my red bumps have calmed.

I had high hopes for this product and it just really fell flat. I did not find it moisturizing (though not drying either) and it made a mess in my shower. The mess would have been worth it if it left my skin feeling amazing, but it just felt kind of meh.

Won't be purchasing again.

Love how mud "fizzles" when you get it wet, and not that messy at all! I'm sensitive to most exfoliating salts/sugars but this didn't feel abrasive on my skin and my skin feels so baby soft afterwards... this is definitely a staple in my shower!

I love this little brick of yummy dirt! Instead of rubbing the bar directly on my skin, I put it in a bowl with a tiny bit of water. It created a lovely, fizzy mud, and felt so good on my skin. It's a bit exfoliating, but gentle enough even for my very sensitive skin. I only used half of the bar, and it seemed to be enough for me. The smell is heavenly, vanilla, musky myrrh, and almost a licorice type smell in there. I want to get some more of these, I think it would make a great mud bath too!
