Charity Pot has to be one of the deepest and most penetrating moisturizers I have ever used. It not only softens my skin but also helps alleviate the eczema spots that appear on my skin from time to time. It's my go-to cream for a quick hand moisturizer especially during the winter months. I love the rich, soothing and calming scent of geranium and cocoa butter. And the best part is Charity Pot proceeds support many grass root charities. Great idea and a great product!

As someone with dry skin, I'm always looking for a quick fix after I get out of the shower. I used this product on my body at first and although it sinks in nicely and has a lovely smell, it did not provide the moisture I need on my body. I can see the benefit for those who don't need too much moisture on their body though.

However, I started using it as a hand lotion and it works wonders on my hands! I don't like heavy things on my hands because if I touch my face, it can cause it to break out. The lotion works really well on my hands and the fact that it helps others out makes it all the better :) Good for a small gift or stocking stuffer (if you get the small pot).

I bought the charity pot for [$], happy to give a little back to the world. But to me this lotion smells like a bad permanent solution. After a wonderful bath of Cinders I was looking forward to slathering my body with LUSH'S luxutious lotion. The smell was so distracting I had to jump into the shower to wash it all off!I thought maybe it just didn't go well with Cinders, but later I tried the lotion again and it still smelled bad. Maybe its time to go back to the drawing board on this one. I've never before been disappointed with a LUSH product, but this one just tanked for me.

I'm an RN and wash my hands a lot - I bought this to keep at work as my hands take a beating. The smell is so overpowering - must be the geranium oil or something - that I can't tolerate it - I've left it at work and some of the staff don't mind the smell since the moisturization is good.

This is the first thing I bought from Lush. I have really dry skin & winter cold makes it worse. This cream really works,I put it on after my shower & my skin is soft, moist and no more flakiness. Helping charities is a bonus. Smells so good I will be buying in the future.

A friend purchased this product for me as a gift. I had tried it before in the store, but never bought it for myself. It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It goes on soft, smooth, and soaks into the skin quickly! I use it all over my body, but especially on my shoulders. My shoulders are naturally dry, and because of that, they have always suffered from acne. In addition, because they are always dry and covered in acne, I scratch and scratch - they have become my worry spot. I never wanted to put lotion on them, because I was afraid it would make the acne worse. Turns out that was exactly what they needed! I have scars on my shoulders now (keloids) and within three days of using this lotion (after shower and before bed) the keloids are noticeably less red, softer, and smaller. PLUS they itch less, so I don't scratch. THANK YOU LUSH! PS, I think it smells great! Natural coco and almond don't have a "sweet" smell. It may take some getting used to for some, but I love it.

I know that the smell of Charity Pot isn't for everyone, but I am kind of oddly in love with it. It's the only floral chocolate scent I know, and I can't describe why I like it, so it just might be an emotional attachment to the product itself.
I don't have to use a ton of this like I do with other creams, which means it lasts way longer than I usually expect it to. It sinks into the skin fairly quickly, and my skin stays moisturized for ages. I wish I could say I buy this for charity to be a good person, but I hardly ever even think of the charity sticker on the top of the pot. I buy it because I love it.

I was so excited to finally get this product in the "My Fair Lady" gift and to donate to the charity on the pot! But I opened the pot up and the smell just over took me in a bad way. I tried it on my skin to make sure it just didn't smell the best in the pot but I had to shower to get it off because I just thought it smelt so bad! If this product didn't smell the way it did I would repurchase.

At first I only wanted to buy this product for its charitable causes. I was not keen on the smell (not a fan of chocolate), and it wasn't as thick of a moisturizer as other LUSH products. However, I finally bought a full size jar one day at my local LUSH store, and have been very happy with it since. I love that it is lightweight and absorbs very quickly. I've gotten used to the smell, and now actually like it, and I can not believe how soft it has made my hands!! My hands have always been extremely dry and the skin will peel as if blistering, but this lotion really softens them without being greasy at all and helps with my embarrassing peeling problem.

I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it. If you aren't too sure about the smell, it's not that strong and I found it pretty easy to get used to. (Also the price is really good, one of the cheapest LUSH moisturizers, and still a wonderful product).

been using this daily after showers. the scent didn't win me over immediately... but i'm slowly coming to find it great. regardless - it's not such a strong scent that it would bother me and my skin has been feeling GREAT so it's a keep as far as i'm concerned. also love the concept of charity pot and love the different orgs the money goes to.

I bought it mostly to benefit Japan, because I have other moisturizers, but I decided to use it because I love Lush products. It smelled a little strange in the pot, but after a couple minutes on my skin smells very nice. I mainly use it to moisturize after shaving my legs, and that makes them nice and smooth with no irritation. Plus, my hands get very soft in the process.

I recently got this lotion in a smaller size for the Japanese relief, which I'm glad I did. Not only did it contribute to Japan, it also introduced me to this awesome lotion! When I first opened the pot, I was put off by the smell, I am NOT a fan of it. But my legs were dry so I decided to try it out. This lotion is awesome, it made my legs soooo silky soft! I can't even get over how soft they are even the next morning (put it on before bed) they were super smooth. And I didn't find the smell to linger on my skin, which I was thankful for. I will defiantly repurchase this when I run out of my trial size.

Had to take a star off for the smell though!

I bought the Japan Charity Pot because I really wanted to donate and I happened to need lotion too. I'm glad I bought this because it's helping a good cause, but it also helped my skin! I work with aquariums and the chemicals in the water dry out my hands like crazy and within one day of use this made my hands feel really nice. The bad side is this smells horrid! It smells like beer and I was worried that people might think I'm a booze-hound or something. I'll go for a different lotion next time since this smell dries me crazy...I recommend this to people whose noses aren't that sensitive and just want a nice lotion.

I bought this because it was Charity Pot and it was for a good cause but I regretted. I originally loved the smell but it seemed to change over time (about a week). The smell turned from a lovely chocolate-buttery smell into something fairly rank.

It does not penetrate into the skin well. It sits on the skin and feels very greasy. The smell doesn't last long which is good but you would hope that if the product was good, the smell would last longer.

I now use the remaining cream on my feet which does make them feel softer but still greasy. I put on the product pretty heavy before bed and put on socks during the night and get soft feet in the morning.

Thankfully I only got the trial size pot from Lush UK because this product smells terrible! Like moldy vanilla pudding. ugh. It doesn't even moisturize that well and it leaves a greasy feeling behind. Sorry Lush, love you and the cause that this lotion supports but not the lotion itself.
