I got this moisturizer along with ocean salt for christmas. Latelly my hands have been feeling like sandpaper from washing dogs for work. After applying the ocean salt exfoliater, and this moisturizer, my hands have immediately felt amazing. It smells like how lotion should smell, without all that fake aromas. Theres a lot of natural oils in this lotion that REALLY keeps your hads moisturized. Some people may think this is too oily, but it was made for people with overdried skin.

I work in health care and this is perfect because it moisturizes and softens the skin instantly and has a nice subtle smell. I do wish that you could make it a bit more long-lasting because that's not a cheap tub of lotion! I use it in the mornings and again every 2-3 hours.

this pot has lasted me quite awhile. great - my hands and arms are super soft. smell is not too strong and so it's not the best (though certainly not bad) but is almost not a factor bc my hands feel great.

I had just come from my local Lush store located in Boulder, CO determined to find a hand moisturizer for my tough, dry, man hands before they got to bad to save.

When I got there I was torn between the choice of this and Handy Gurugu but after a quick test and a little Q and A with the friendly female staff there decided to choose this one by buying a small 1.5 size so as to easily carry it with me wherever I need it.

I could not be happier! This hand lotion is the perfect for after washing your hands or whenever your dried out man hands needs some TLC. The chamomile smell is also very enjoyable and last quite a while until you wash your hands again which quickly makes it come off.

I will definately be buying this product again and will try to get as many people to try some as well so they can hopefully buy some as well!

It is a little greasy, but nothing works quite like it. The winters here are brutal, this is a must have if you're skin is especially dry or going through an especially dry patch.

I got the small bottle of this inside of one of the Wrapped Gifts and I was excited to use this since my hands take a beating...I work with aquariums and animals alot so between washing my hands constantly and using chemicals in the aquariums by the end of the day my hands are in terrible shape. This goes on easilly, very creamy. In the bottle it smelled like roses, but once on my skin it smells like old toothpaste! This takes a long time to absorb in and makes my hands really greasy so I have to make sure to only use it on the top of my hands and not the fingers or palms. This really needs so extra work in order for me to like it. Overall, too greasy plus bad smell equals not happy.

I bought this to keep at my desk to use throughout the day, and it's just too greasy. It goes on easily, and smells nice, but doesn't absorb at all. It just sits like a Crisco coating on top of the skin, and washes off leaving hands dry again. Probably better suited for nighttime use, or for people with extremely dry and chapped skin. Not recommended for use as a regular daily hand lotion.

It's just incredible. The smell is so wonderful that anyone could use it- doctors, nurses, etc. My mom and I are both really sensitive to scented lotions and we both get super dry skin in the winter, especially on our hands. This gets rid of it all. I use this all the time! Definitely buy this.

I love this lotion, and I LOVE the smell! I am not sure why so many people say it smells bad. It can be slightly greasy but doesn't bother me. Makes my hands very soft.

I ordered the pocket-sized version of this lotion, which comes in a little pump bottle. The lotion does moisturize and soften my skin well, but I found it a little too greasy to use during the day. I've now relegated to the bedside, where I put some on before going to bed at night. I was also expecting the lotion to smell different - the description mentions lavender, chamomile, and honey, but none of these scents predominate. Instead, I get a sort of medicinal smell from it - perhaps it's the linseed oil.

My chief complaint, though, is about the pump: After using it for a short time, the pump stopped working very well. I noticed when I pulled it out that because the lotion was so thick, it would form a hollow where the pump shaft was, and the lotion would build up beside around it, rather than under it. I would pull the pump out and tamp down the lotion so the lotion would fill the hollow and there'd be something for it to pump, but this started getting tedious. After doing this half a dozen times or more, I decided to remove as much of the lotion as I could to a shallow container where I could scoop it out with my fingers. This took some doing, but I managed to get most of it out.

Maybe I got a bad pump, but I am thinking Lush needs to rethink using a pump for its thicker lotions and creams. A tube would have worked much better.

Love this stuff! I even got my mom hooked on it. It's a bit expensive for a tub of lotion, but I put mine in a smaller container to carry around in my purse. A little goes a long way. It's super moisturizing, doesn't leave my hands greasy, smells awesome. Great product.

Tried Helping Hands for the first time and I really like the way it makes my hands feel, especially when I work in the nursery at the hospital and I have to wash my hands frequently.The only con is it smells awful. For the amount of $$$ paid, I really feel a nice fragrance would make me want to buy it again and again. At this point, I'm on the fence as to whether I'll spend the cash for another jar.

this is my first time buying Lush products, and i really do like this hand cream. the only problem i have with it is that it's a little too greasy on my palms, but it doesn't last that long if i let it sink in a minute. i'm a student and have to be on a computer a lot, so the palm thing kind of bothers me. overall, though, i really like the way it moisturizes my dry, Michigan cold-weather hands. the smell is nice, too :)

i am a nurse and i wash my hands so very often that it gets really dry, flaky and itchy; add the non-latex-free gloves that u wear too, that can somewhat contribute to irritating your skin.i use this everytime i wash my hands and this really brings back the moisture in my skin, softens my hand leaving it flake and itch-free!i am not a really big fan of the smell. it smells so medicated! i purchased this in hongkong and i'd like to thank the salesperson who helped me decide in purchasing this product!

Working in a salon 8 hrs a day is hard enough on your hands, when they are in chemicals and hot water and harsh soaps, its even worse. This is the only thing that will keep my skin from splitting in the cold winter weather when my skin chaps and gets raw.

I work in a lab and I'm constantly washing my hands with very harsh antiseptic soap that instantly makes my hands extremely dry; so add that on top of harsh Chicago winters and they are a mess. Literally, two days after using this lotion, the cracking and dry spots on my skin were gone, and someone actually commented on soft my skin was! I highly recommend this product!

It's such an amazing product. i got this along with lemony flutter, and ocean sea salt. It was a great combination of those three and helping hands was by far my favorite of them. Lemony flutter smells very nice but it's more of a solid. Ocean salt was next and it was rough but nice and relaxing. And lastly helping hands, it soothed my skin and it felt well-great! Best lotion!

This is the best hand cream. EVER. I abuse my hands at work moving furniture/doing function set ups/using hand sanitizer/working around catering, so I constantly have to wash my hands and because of super dry skin, immediately use moisturizer. I had been using drug store brands, but nothing compares to this. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's been amazing. I find I don't need to use a lot, it's not greasy, and it lasts a long time in between applications. It's also great on feet!!!
