I had noticed that there are quite a few people who have said that this product caused extreme irritation, and I was worried about that when I initially bought the product but I can happily say I've had no issues! My underarms do tingle after initial applications but it only lasts a few seconds and it is definitely not painful - actually it's sort of an interesting feeling.

Drawbacks are that it doesn't last all day, but I just carry an extra bar in a Lush Tin in my purse and I reapply about midday, and I'm good to go. Although I'm not a runner, I do stand/walk around the room almost all day as I lecture.

The smell is amazing, and my favorite part of this product is that it leaves no residue. The store brand product I used before left a horrible stain on all my clothes, and I thought it was crazy that I could take showers in between applications and I could still smell the deodorant. It makes me feel so much better that I am using an all natural product without any carcinogens.

I sweat so bad I had botox done under my armpits... I finally got the sweating under control but I smell like a MAN and this product smells so girlie, I love it. The first month was awesome... even made my friends SMELL my armpits... then I purchased a second bar and I had ingrown hair as well as a HORRIBLE rash... Dispite the rash I suffer and use the deodarant because it's the only thing that works on me... I've been on this site a few times to see if there were others that suffered with me as well and it's nice to know I'm not alone...

Other than laying off for a few days and or alternating deodarants... any other advice? Pits are on FIRE!

i love the smell of the T'EO DEODORANT but when ever i wear a white shirt or any light color clothes it stains them more then it would if i wore a different or non deodorant at all other then the staining it does to my clothes i like every then else about it but i dont think i will buy it again

I had been looking for an effective, hypoallergenic, natural deodorant for over ten years. I have used crystals, sticks, sprays, most natural brands on the market and this is the only one that worked. Some natural deodorants make me smell and sweat worse than going without. When using regular deodorants my pits are itchy, irritated, develop red bumps and sores. The only irritation I ever had with T'eo was when I absentmindedly applied it fresh after shaving. This stuff rocks. It doesn't prevent all moisture but does suck a fair amount of it up and smells wonderful. After one application I can go two days without reapplying with no BO. I have recommended it to all of my family, most of us have deodorant irritation. I'm a user for life!

All you need to know is that this stuff lasted me through a a 60 hour work week of catering WITH OUT STINKING ONCE. The tea tree oil (one of nature's strongest antibacterials) kills off the smelly bacteria. I definitely perspired, but never did I smell. Bonus, I didn't have to reapply during the day!

I love this product. I've tried other natural deodorants without any luck. Either they don't fight oder or are sticky. This is a fantastic! My whole room smells like my T'eo and it's great. I use it as a deoderant and as a touch up for when I think I may be loosing my freshness and want a quick fix. Be careful the smell is addictive!

For application I just gently touch it to my pits, and then rub that in with my hand.

Other natural deodorants I've tried have not worked, but the salesperson at Lush sold me on this one. It's a bit crumbly, so I store it in a shampoo tin and just break a tiny piece off at a time. It tingles my armpits for a minute or two, but it goes away quickly.

This stuff is amazing! One application lasts over 24 hours, even in the hot, sweaty summer weather. It has a nice clean lemon smell, but even when I can't smell it, it still kills the odor.

It's a cute concept but it doesn't last. It started breaking apart after the first use. It works well though. Needs a little bit something extra.

I really liked the spicy scent and has great odor control all day but very irritating to my skin. At first I thought that was because I had just shaved but throughout the week it stung like a b@stard every time I put it on. I love this is natural and may try to hang in there with it but I have my doubts.

I was on a mad spree loading my basket with products that smelled good. Came across this and tossed it in. Didn't really think it would do much in the way of odor control. I just figure the all natural ingredients couldn't possibly work too well. Boy was I wrong. I've never come across a deodorant that totally eliminates odor like this one. In fact I'm doing sniff tests hours after application and there's not a trace of odor.
If you insist on applying it like normal deodorants, you'll probably find it crumbles and you may rub to hard. But ease up and you'll be ok. A different consistency calls for a different application is all. Well worth it.

I wanted to switch to natural deodorant because I noticed that my commercial deodorant was leaving behind residue underneath my arms even after scrubbing, so I decided to give Lush's Aromaco a try. It worked well in the winter, but I didn't think it would work in the summer, so I switched back to my commercial deodorant.

I walked into Lush the other day and I told the clerk that I'd used their natural deodorants in the past, but I wasn't sure if they'd be effective in the summer months and he suggested that I try te'o. I tried it with the coconut powder layered on top the next day and it kept me fairly dry and odor free all day long. It's held up well in the summer heat, but I haven't engaged in any strenuous activities since using it. The product works well and smells great, but it burns when I apply it. I don't have sensitive skin and I'm going to keep on working with it to see if the burning subsides because Aromaco burned when I first started using it, but I guess my skin eventually got used to it because the burning ceased after some time and I'm hoping the same happens with te'o.

I had high hopes for this product. I have sensitive skin, so finding a deodorant that does not irritate my skin is hard. As well as finding one that works and does not contain aluminum, that is a whole different story. It smells strongly of lemons, which I truly enjoy. I also think it goes on easy and stays on pretty well. HOWEVER, the first time I used it, instant burning sensation and large red rashes in my armpits. Such a disappointment.

Was in love with the idea of this bar at first. Love the smell and indeed, how the product works but the packaging is a NIGHTMARE. after just a few uses, bar no longer easily glides over underarms....you must scrap off the top layer to apply. If there was an available storage tin this product might actually be usable.

I absolutely love the smell. I have been using this product in the summer heat and although I need to reapply it throughout the day, it really works. Additionally, it doesn't stain the armpits of my shirts like other deodorants.

I encourage everyone to try this amazing product, it is way better for you and the earth!This product rubs on great the first few times. Unfortunately, after that it crystalizes into a hard, rocky lump and it will hurt your pits if you try to rub it on! My solution was to shave off the waxy part with a knife and grind the rest with a mortar and pestle into a shallow plastic container. I then bought a 3" makeup sponge from [...] and use that to dab the material on -- and my skin thanks me for it!This is sometimes irritating if I put it on immediately after shaving, but after 10-20 mins it's fine. I used to have the most horrible skin irritation from conventional deodorants, but no longer.In terms of coverage, it totally covered odors for a day of normal activity. I'm not 100% dry all of the time, but then again I never was with conventional deodorants either! If it were a really hot day I would put on an extra layer when I got home. Love it!

I bike to work and back everyday and now that the weather is heating up, I sweat and we all know that perspiration leads to funk! I shave under my arms and use the T'eo, I have no problems! IT is a bit coarse but my pits aren't tender after using the bar. I struggle to stay fresh, not funky, and this bar makes it happen. You ROCK LUSH!!!!

Thanks to the other reviews i was able to know what to expect. The tip on giving it 2 weeks very helpful. I have suffered with persperation and unable to wear certain color clothing. I no longer have that issue. My bar did crumble also i found not rub to hard for no irriation and if possible just pat underarms. Gone are my days embarrasing wetness, jacket free. The odor was a little strong at first. I also have sensitive skin. A layer of powder and dry all day.
