I understand that many people aren't crazy about the scent, but I really like it. For me, it doesn't work all-day on the underarms for a sweaty, outdoors type of day. Perhaps it only lasts several hours on one of those days.
Maybe I should try re-applying a few times during the day in these instances... but I don't normally carry deodorant around with me.
I would LOVE if it was a little tougher on that type of sweat because I don't want to be using all the chemicals and aluminum in commercial deodorants.
However, if I've got a day that's more indoors and less active I love to use it, and it works very well for me.

It really depends on the type of person you are- physically/sweat-wise as well as scent preference.

I am seriously active: I bike commute at least 20 miles a day, work a physical job, train in acrobatics, do yoga and hike to relax. I never really stop moving. I've been using this product for over a year, and it's the best deodorant I've ever tried. I used to religiously use the chemically clinical strength types, even a prescription type that made my armpits red and peely, but would small like metal and covered up BO after a couple hours. Other natural brands do nothing for me. It doesn't keep me from sweating, and I'm okay with that, but I never smell.

I apply it after showering, sometimes in combination with Aromarant, and keep a small container of it in my cycling bag. I dust it on again after biking the ten miles to work, and I'm good to go for the rest of the day. The slight drawback I find is that if I over apply, my armpits are green, which is only bothersome when I'm raising my arms over my head a lot in acrobatics and yoga.

I have to say that I love earthy, natural products, but this one smelled like 'old' rosemary, the kind that goes bad. It also didn't seem to be that effective either...:(

I use this on my feet, armpits, and anywhere else I anticipate getting a little sweaty (bra line, underwear line, etc...I LOVE the smell, texture, and airyness of the product. It makes me feel fresh even if I'm sweat-pants gross. I do want to emphasise that this is THE BEST deodorant I've ever tried, and without a good DO for my BO I am one stinky woman, IMO. I've tried Burts Bees, Origins, Lavanilla, L'Occitane, Toms of Maine, Avalon Organics, and EVERY major non-natural brand on the shelf. Not only do most brands pill up on me and make me itch, but I am stinky 2 hours in and reapplying only aggravates the beast. The only brand that came close to the AMAZINGNESS OF LUSH'S GREENCH was L'Occitane's men's deodorant...at $17 a bottle and only 75% of the awesomeness that this [$] bottle holds. GREENCH FOR THE WIN! An EPIC win!The only thing I can think of that is a "beef" with this is that it's white powder, so it's not super easy to apply (I am required to wear black clothing)...BUT I'm a smart cookie, and the EASY SOLUTION is to apply the powder while I'm fresh out of the shower, recently covered in King of Skin, and standing on the bathmat.

I love this product. I used to sweat crazy amounts and have to use clinical men strength deodorant (I'm female) but even that wasn't always enough. I bought this to help temp the sweat and the slight but annoying smell at the end of the day. I ended up accidentally using this by itsself one day, and have never looked back. I do karate four times a week and dont smell at the end of class. I love this baby

I've been using Greench for about 6-8 weeks now, and although I really like the smell of it--it smells like my herb garden--it doesn't work as well as I need it to. I'm a sweaty Italian girl, and I'm trying to get comfortable with how much I sweat, but I can't deal with being stinky too. It's also kind of messy to apply. i usually end up with a light dusting of it on my bathroom floor. One thing it is good for though is a foot powder. i've dusted my flats with it before and after wearing them, and it keeps my feet from getting that gross I-didn't-wear-socks-with-my-shoes funk.

I recently purchased this product,and i am just lovin this. Due to a medical conition i am unable to wear regular deodorant, they put so much in it that irritates my skin now. I tried the natural deodorants and crytals and they were still irritating. After just a week of using this product my underarms feel great.I was surprised how dry it kept me. The smell is rough, but after you put on your lotion and some smell good powder your good to go.

I use this powder on a round powder puff used for face powder. I guess everyone is different but this stuff is the best thing ever. I'm not a fan of the scent but who cares when I can come home after work and not have one trace of a smelly pit and no wetness? No matter how hot I get at work and even run 4 miles on the treadmill there is no bad odor! I was a HUGE fan of Aromacreme but this is fantastic. Even after an easy day on the job I'd always come home with some odor under the pit of my shirt but now I never do. You've really outdone yourselves now.

I use this on my pits and it works great. Definitely helps control the BO. It's a little rough going with really intense physical activity (exercise and the like) and crazy hot 90 degree+ days, but frankly I don't know any deodorants that DO work on those days.

I personally like the smell even though I know a lot of people don't care for the herbal/earthy smells but it's so good! It's also light enough that if I want to wear perfume or something the smell of the deodorant doesn't mingle with the perfume and much it up.

Definitely my favorite deodorant I have ever found. I will NEVER switch! Thank you LUSH for an AWESOME product!

I thought this smelled really great. I had a sample of it before I bought the big container and I used it in my shoes/on my feet. It was great at keeping my shoes dry/smelling fresh. I tried using it as a deodorant and noticed that as soon as I would start to sweat my armpits smelled about 10 times worse than any body odor I have encountered.

I would recommend this to a friend to use in shoes, but nowhere else.

This deodorant, while smelling great and going on smoothly, does not even come close to the odor preventing capabilities of the discontinued Aromacreme. I'm sad to say I might have to look outside of Lush for a deodorant that works. Bring back Aromacreme!

I tried this with both Aromarant and Aromoco and was highly dissatisfied. I thought the smell would grow on me, but I just didnt' like it. Although it controlled odor and perspiration, I just couldn't handle the earthy smell. The product wasn't right for me, but if you enjoy the smell, then you'll probably like it.

A great alternative to over the counter deoderants/antiperspirants. I like the all natural ingredients. Only complaint is that is isn't powerful to last a really, long/hot day. For days that are not 90+ degrees, it works just fine. Also, WHY the large size container? Contents fill half the container, annoying to have such a large (half-empty) container.

i really like the earthy smell from this powder. after a few hours it has toned down a bit which i like. i like to use it in my pits, and a little bit everywhere else. overall i think its really great!

Great fundamental item for travelers or anyone else who may be in close quarters under unpleasant circumstances. (And oh, does it make summer better, especially if you perspire easily.) I use this as a dusting powder and keep several small shakers of it in my laptop and "go bag" for on-the-road emergencies. Love that clean, herbal scent!

i love the smell, so i was very excited to try it. unfortunately, it doesn't last long enough to be effective. i don't perspire heavily, but i run and mountain bike a lot, so i do perspire some. the powder seemed to rub or wash off too quickly to be effective. unless i reapplied every couple of hours or so, i still ended up smelling horrible. i was a bit disappointed because i do love the smell of the powder. something that smelled this good but lasted a bit longer would be excellent.

The Greeench is greeeeeaaat. I've tried drugstore antiperspirants and deodorants and none could keep my intense man-BO away...and I'm a girl! I wish they could color it dark so it wouldn't show up on dark sleeveless fabrics, but considering I wear dark, sleeveless tops probably less than once month, overall that's a small price to pay for no BO. I don't have a problem with wetness, just odor, so I'm not sure how it would work for someone who has hyperhydrosis. This stuff is like magic.

I have very sensitive skin and every brand of deodorant I try either makes me break out in a rash or just doesn't prevent sweating/smelling. This deodorant is actually really gentle on my sensitive skin! It also smells minty, which I wasn't used to in a deodorant, but it gives a kind of cooling sensation when you put it on which is really nice, and I surprisingly don't feel sweaty or gross all day! Nothing bad to say, besides the fact that putting on the powder isn't exactly the most convenient/clean method in the world. But it's a small price to pay...I'm glad I took a chance on this one.

I have tried all Lush's Deo (any many commerical) and this one works best for me. The others either didn't keep the odor away, or they (Lush's)and or they were difficult to use and hard to wash off (aromacreme). I shower and while my pits are slightly wet, I apply the Greench deodorant and go about my day. Excellent and I will definitely continue to use. Thanks for making this product.
