I have always been leery of looking like I'm wearing make-up, and I aim for a really natural, is-she-wearing-make-up-or-not look. I find the light yellow is perfect for this, as it matches my skin, evens the tone, blends well, and yet still lets my real skin show. I tried using it mixed with my moisturizer (imperialis), but I couldn't seem to get the mix right somehow. Also, I find if i put the same amount on my eyelids as I use on the rest of my face, I end up with it collecting in my eyelid crease in a couple of hours.

I usually apply it immediately after my moisturizer for ease of blendability (and so I can go really easy on the eyelids), and also as a concealer. I love that my concealer is guaranteed to match my foundation! Also, since I have a light skin tone, I decided to use the dark pink colour supplement as a subtle blush. It's a little tricky to blend it right, but the result is really nice and subtle.

At first, I was worried that this would be a "splurge", since the item's size was so small. I've found that a little goes a long way, though, and I wonder if I'll be anywhere close to finished by the expiry date!

The only real con here is the limited variety of tones available. The shades available are great for me, with my pale skin, but what about everyone else?

After buying Celestial moisturizer and loving it I thought I'd give this color a try, and I'm happy I did!

My history with concealer and foundation is not a good one because I have sensitive, dry acne prone skin. I love makeup but I tend to shy away from it since ALL foundations and powders I've tried end up aggravating my skin and/or giving me breakouts. Even more natural mineral makeup wouldn't leave my skin undamaged.

I'm happy to say this product is mild and good for those who tend to break out from makeup. I've used this 6 or 7 times already and will NEVER go back to other concealers. I haven't had any breakouts and my skin doesn't get irritated or oily after using this.

I apply this product in two ways, after my moisturizer for fuller color coverage or mixed with my moisturizer for lighter coverage. I have dry skin so on super dry days I'll also apply another layer of moisturizer after, if need be.
One thing I should note is that I do not use this color supplement everyday, maybe once or twice a week when I go out and want a polished look.(Part of me is still wary of breaking out if I use foundation too much)

This is a light foundation, so you'll get a natural look, maybe not the product for you if you want something heavier. But this is a great foundation that blends well and is easy to use. Besides using this as a light all over color, I like to dab it near my eye/nose area to hide the blue/purple circles I get when I'm tired. It instantly gives my face an awake look and doesn't cause makeup lines under my eyes when I smile. (A problem I constantly had with other foundations)

Overall this product is gentle, natural looking and great for sensitive skin types.(Or any skin type) I don't really like that it has talc in it but so far it hasn't caused any problems. If you struggle to find good foundations/concealers this is worth trying.

If you can't find the right skin tone don't be afraid to mix them. (I use this in summer and Jackie Oates in winter, mix between the two for spring and fall)

I'm very picky about my foundation and was highly skeptical of this product. I used it for weeks still expecting I'd decide it's terrible, but found myself not using my previous foundation. I didn't think a foundation with talc would work on my skin, but it must be a small enough amount that it works.

What I like about this as a concealer or foundation is that you can apply very little to let your natural lovely skin color through, but you can apply extra over blemishes and hide them. I use a foundation brush that I bought from the Lancome cosmetics counter. I highly recommend using a foundation brush instead of your fingers. It's much easier to blend across your face, applying more coverage in some areas than in others and then smoothing it all out.

I barely use any of this product, so the price is perfect. I'm probably going to need to blend light yellow with dark yellow once summer arrives. But the light yellow perfectly matches my skin. Again, so surprised about this.

While this product may not be right for everyone, it works for me. And I never expected it to.

I got a sample of this from one of the Lush stores a while back. They matched it to my skin tone by testing it on my jaw line. Next day, I dab and spread it on my face. It washed me out like a ghost. I needed something a little bit darker than this, but the pink is too pink, the dark yellow too dark, etc. Am I the only one who can't match my skin to these colors?? Maybe I'll try another sample now that it's winter and I'm a bit paler (I do want a healthy foundation, after all). Hate to give Lush a bad review.. one of the few products that just didn't work =)

This stuff is so amazing I hope they never stop making this! It's the first product I've ever used that was able to cover my dark circles. It's light and best of all natural looking. I don't want to look fake and plastic and this product doesn't do that. I love this stuff!

Sorry, but this just didn't work on me. The color was a little off, even though one of the employees helped me pick it out and said it was right, and it just looked too dry and cakey on me. It isn't super cakey like some drugstore foundations - in fact, I admit it lets my real skin shine through in a nice way - but it's still very obvious I'm wearing it . . . in a bad way.

I just started using this all over my face yesterday mixed with my vanishing cream and I immediately felt a difference. I felt as though my skin could breathe and putting my everyday powder over it was enough coverage for me.

My breakout has been healing extra fast ever since using this.

While this color supplement isn't perfect, the thing I love about it is that you can basically create your own product with it. I cleanse, tone, apply a benzoyl peroxide cream (I know, I know ... but I NEED benzoyl peroxide!), and then mix this with a retinal-based moisturizer. It doesn't go on all that smooth because of the benzoyl peroxide cream, but with a little effort it does go on and looks more even once it dries. I think it would go on smoothly, with a moisturizer, on bare skin. It doesn't clog my pores anymore than the moisturizer itself does, which is a little bit, to be honest. It contains talc, which some link to acne, but it still contains a lot less worrisome chemicals than your average drugstore foundation. I personally wouldn't use this as a foundation, because you would have to use a lot more at a time than when it's mixed with moisturizer, and it's just too expensive to do that. What I would recommend, if you really need coverage, is to use it as a tinted moisturizer and then apply a mineral powder based makeup that provides better coverage; together, it will work.

On a side note, be careful when picking out the color! I am fair skinned and probably should have picked the light pink; I just didn't want to look pale as a ghost, and the word "pink" deterred me. This color is definitely more yellow than my natural color. It's not that big of a deal, but be careful!

I hate to bash LUSH over anything, but these color supplements were awful. I won't go into the color variety--some companies are far worse--but the texture of these colors is such that they don't really cover anything, nor do they spread well--even over a moisturizer. They didn't blend evenly over the skin, even looking rather splotchy in places.

I am glad I only tried the sample at the store. Sorry LUSH, this is a big miss. I am especially sorry because I was so looking forward to LUSH's foray into genuine cosmetics.

I received samples of the new color supplements with my purchase at the New Orleans shop. I very excitedly tried it as a foundation, a concealer, and as a tinted additive to my moisturizer (I <3 Imperialis). I prefer to use it as a tinted moisturizer. It helps me to even out my skin tone in a very natural-looking way. I love the way this makes my skin glow, without making me greasy or breaking me out! I also like to use it on its own as a very nice concealer. Coverage is easily built up and blended out. I would buy this again and again!

I love love LOVE this product! I have trouble finding foundations I can use because I break out so bad, but this one is great! It doesn't make me feel greasy halfway through the day and it covers up all my blemishes without making me spottier! One of the girls at the Fort Wayne store gave me a great tip: if you have oily skin or know you're going to be sweating, mix it on the back of your hand with a little dab of Greased Lightning. It feels a little weird as you're mixing it, but it goes on smooth and keeps you completely matte. LUSH, please do not ever get rid of this product, I might cry!!!

I got a small pot of light yellow as a free sample and I LOVE it. I mix it with my moisturizer and it is great. I need a little extra coverage under my eyes for circles and it works perfectly. I also tried it as a foundation and I found when you put it on while the moisturize is still a bit wet it glides on perfectly. It is sheer color so if you need a ton of coverage this isn't for you.

I am a Lushholic who is all about natural appearance. Remember when Lush teamed with another company to bring natural home made cosmetics to the public. I Never got to try their make-up, but instantly jumped on board with Lush. As stated this is a "supplement". Do not confuse this small wonder for pure make-up. Use it with your moisturizer and facial toner. or spot conceal with "Greased Lightning" to control breakouts and blemishes. The best part of utilizing Color Supplements by Lush; is that you will look natural and feel clean even while hard at work on the job or having fun on the weekend.

I gave this foundation a try since I trust Lush on providing a product that will not typically aggravate my sensitive skin.
During a monthly Lush visit to restock I decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, this product did not pass the breakout test. The day after it was used my skin had broken out in places that I typically have no problems with.

I ordered some other products and it came with a free sample of this. I was bored and decided to test it out.

My face was red from a fairly bad sunburn and this covered it up! I haven't used concealer before, but this definitely works. And a little goes a long way! I just dabbed a my finger on the cap and it covered half of my face!

My only problem is you have to rub it in quickly! Otherwise it sets in streaky.

I was wary of the supplements (I am VERY picky when it comes to foundation), but I was excited to try them because they are vegan. I was ecstatic with the results of light yellow: it is a perfect match for my very pale skin with yellow undertones, and it has surprisingly great coverage. I used it on top of my moisturizer as I would use a normal liquid foundation, then I set it with powder. It lasted all day! I am so happy to find a liquid foundation that is vegan. Thank you LUSH! Now work on making this available to people of all skin colors (that means more shades)!

I was really excited to get this product, though I wasn't exactly sure what it was. I am currently using it as a spot treatment and mixing it with my moisturizer to create a tinted-moisturizer. After using it for about 3 weeks, I have to say the product is more of a hassle than its worth. Its a messy process trying to create a tinted moisturizer with it and as a concealer it is only so so. I need to use make-up on top over the color supplement to get coverage on trouble spots.

If lush were to come out with a tinted moisturizer using this base I think that would be fantastic! A good idea, but it needs some work.

I don't use any kind of foundation and haven't used concealer since I was in middle school and pimples were a social standing killer. I find that commercial concealers often look funny on my spots (when I get them) since those spots, while swollen and red, can often by dry at the edges and so the concealer just embosses those textural differences and makes it look worse.

I like trying new LUSH products so I let the LUSH girls color-match me to light yellow. I tried the technique where the color supplement is blended with moisturizer, but this gives rise to the textural difference problem on spots (fine for evening out skin tone post pimple though), and find I prefer just dabbing a small bit onto a spot; the texture blends more evenly with my natural skin. A little goes a long way.

I'm not sure if I would buy this product, but I would definitely recommend it to people who use makeup, and I was very impressed with the results and ease of application (both in terms of mixing, etc. and achieving the desired results).
