Honey Trap is my new favorite lip balm and I've only owned it for a day! Ever since I opened this magical little tin I cannot stop applying this lip balm. It smells fantastic, you definitely get that white chocolate - peppermint scent and it's beautiful and subtle. The consistency is great, it's smooth and much easier to apply than Lip Service (don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lip Service as well). My lips are so soft and moisturized, which is a daily struggle for me as I wear wide variety of lip colors and glosses which can be really drying. I love the texture, it's not sticky but it's not runny either. I can't recommend this enough, I'll definitely be using this on a daily basis! Also, they should definitely make this into a stick lip balm. Just sayin', I would buy it! =) Great job with this one Lush!

I bought Honey Trap because I was searching for several products with honey and oat milk - my two favorite LUSH ingredients because how well they treat my skin. I also LOVE the smell of Mange Too, this this was a perfect harmonizing way to smell like minty white chocolate all over!
I didn't purchase a lip scrub with Honey Trap simply because I thought "Well, heck, I can eat some granulated sugar anytime." And I am pleased to say, despite how raw my lips were (to the point of bleeding a little, I am sad to say!) that with some intensive application of Honey Trap at night and after my morning shower my lips are pillowy soft and juicy! I even think they look pinker and more healthy!
I also suffer from acne around my mouth and Honey Trap has not eliminated my acne scars, but HAS eliminated my acne, and I am sure with continued use that maybe my scars will fade a bit. Because of the oat milk, I will say, my scars are less red, and no one asks me anymore if I have fever blisters - which is a relieve in and of itself!
This is quickly becoming my daily staple and although it is lasting forever (I still have a rather full tin after about a month of generous daily use), I want to buy a million so I can have one wherever I go and never run out!
I also like the packaging, because I sometimes will use the tin like a wide lip stick, which will cover both lips in two big swipes! I also live in a warmer part of the US and I have not had any problems with it melting in my pocket or purse - even though that was one of my biggest concerns when I first purchased it.
This product is awesome, my favorite of all LUSH lip balms and tints I have tried. :)

I think this smells more like peppermint than honey or white chocolate, but I love the way it makes my lips feel after use. It melts into my lips and moisturizes instead of sitting on my lips and doing nothing. The only complaint I have is the weird texture. I'm not sure if my product is faulty, but it feels more "doughy" then hard, but still does its job.

I was torn between this and the "None of Your Beeswax" balm and was told this was a better balm by a Lush associate. I have to say prior to using this my lips were chapped and peeling, and after one use my lips had been restored to proper health! I can't exaggerate enough how wonderful this product is and how incredible the results are.
I checked off that the smell and taste was a bit funky, even though to others it may be appealing. Just my personal preference, but it is certainly not enough of a problem to turn me off to using this product!

An absolute MUST for anyone living in cold, dry climates. After my initial purchase and the "trial period" I reordered five more tins. This stuff is absolutely fantastic. I used to use another bees-wax based brand but switched when I realized this lip balm lasted much much longer and didn't make my lips peel if I applied it before bedtime. This stuff is absolute heaven and with the winter just around the corner, I don't have a worry in the world.

I'm a frequent user of lip balm, particularly in the dryer months. This does the job, though when it comes to soothing dry lips, I don't necessarily think it out-performs any other brands that aim to do the same thing. I like buying from Lush because I like the use of natural ingredients and lack of animal testing, so admittedly I'll probably keep buying this or try other scents.
When it comes to the smell, I actually pick up the peppermint quite a bit and I wish that wasn't so. I was hoping for more of a honey scent - comparable to It's Raining Men or Soft C'our. I understand the limitations with this being a lip blam, however. Any claims that this stuff actually has a taste are lost on me, as I can't taste it at all. That's not a bad thing, but considering the claims, I almost feel like I'm missing out.
Overall, I wouldn't call it oustandingly special. But it's pretty good, nevertheless.

I just bought this product a few days ago and can't get enough! Its simply wonderful. The texture is sublime, it isn't sticky or too waxy feeling. Its just perfect. AND it smells delicious. <3 <3 yaay for Feeling beautiful and healthy.

I've been out of this for about a month now and was using it daily. I just got back from a beach trip and my lips are so dry and chapped, I've tried to find anything that even compares to this, but nothing does! The consistency and way this product stayed on and made my lips feel was amazing. Gotta get more!

I had really high hopes for this lip balm. It just didnt really meet my expectations. It was hard getting the product onto my fingers because it was so greasy and hard. When I finally did get enough to cover my lips, I found the smell very unpleasant. I expected sweet vanilla and honey, and I got this disgusting chemical smell. It smelled like terrible perfume. Really disappointed.

This product makes lips tasty and juicy. Didn't give four stars because it has a matte finish where I prefer a bit of shine and because it does not contain an SPF.

I marked myself as a "brand buyer" as I do develop brand loyalty for certain products, and I've got a long-term lip balm relationship with another company. I got this lip balm as a gift some months ago, and I've put off writing a review until I could solidify my thoughts on it. First, the scent: I literally cannot describe it. None of the descriptions I've read on the product page or heard elsewhere match the intoxicating, addictive fragrance. It was almost unpleasant the first time I opened the tin, but each time I use it I love it more. It is the number one reason I will buy another tin when this one is done. I don't taste anything but a vague hint of wax when it's on, but that's really probably a plus in my book. I do like my lip balms to stay on, so they "remind" me they're there, but this one melts into the skin, which I suppose does soften the lips and is an excuse to apply more! Really, everything negative I could possibly think of is actually something good. Finally, though I was leery when I saw peppermint oil as an ingredient, I do not taste or smell any mint. Only rarely do I feel a slight tingle when I apply, and that fades quickly.

I carry this in my pocket all day. I was worried it would get icky after being heated up every day, but it's near the expiration date and still smells great! I use it whenever I need a pick-me-up, or my lips feel dry. I love that sticky-sweet honey smell! My only regret is that I couldn't use it all before the expiration date!

This is a great lip balm that feels great on the lips. I use this alone or after the Lush sugar scrub. I have sensitive lips and this product feels great and keeps my lips smooth at night.

This is amazing!! I just got it and can guarantee it will be my new favorite lip balm. My lips are so sensitive due to the weather and repeated wind burns but now I've tried this, I'm never going to anything else! I prefer a stick lip balm because you never know what is on your hands and can't always wash them before applying this, but it's not a good enough reason for me to stop buying it. Definitely would recommend it!!

The scent of this is amazing. When I first opened it, it seemed too strong - but after just a couple uses it really grew on me. I previously was alternating between a few different chapsticks/lip balms but now this is the only one I want to use. I even like to dab a little on my wrists - I love that hours later, I can still smell it there.
