okay all you ladies and gents that can't stop licking or biting your lips, this is definatly for you! i have this problem as well, your out and about you feel you lips getting dry and what do you do? make them worse by licking them! lip service takes the pain away leaving your lips gorgeous, soft, smooth, the list goes on and on and on! i use this all the time in the winter, if you want maximum results use with a lip scrub, my favorite is mint julips. if you already have chapped lips apply as often as you like and pow ! by the end of the night you with be saying "what chapped lips?"

I purchased this in my last order online along with my second pot of Honey Trap. Honey Trap melts quickly with just your fingers warmth and is easy to apply but wears off rather quickly. Lip Service is extremely thick and takes more than your finger to melt. I keep this one at work in my desk and even though I live in the desert and it's always warm, I still need to rub the pot between my hands to warm it up enough to be able to apply smoothly. Even though this is slightly inconvenient, it works so well I don't mind at all. It looks white but when it melts on your lips it turns clear immediately. It also smells pretty good...not too sweet. Kind of reminds me of powder sugar...in a good way. If you live in a colder climate, you might want to keep this one in your pocket to warm it up before using. I actually like this one better than Honey Trap just because it heals so well.

My lips have been getting pretty chapped this winter, and I decided to try out Lip Service. Clearly, there are people who really like this stuff, but it really didn't work for me. My lips would feel gorgeous and moisturized after I used it... for a few minutes. For me, it doesn't last.

Also, it's really difficult to apply. When I first opened it up, it was as hard as a rock. As several other reviewers have mentioned, putting it in your pocket fixes this.

Overall, I just don't really like this lip balm.

I could not believe how soft my lips were after just one application. Put it on before bed and wake up with a super soft pout. If I could apply it every 5 minutes, I would. It smells and feels so good. I want to soak my entire body in a vat of this luscious balm.

I didn't understand why the balm was so hard at first, but quickly realized that after a while in my pocket, it was easy to put on. It's one of my favorites, especially since it smells like my grandma's lemon pie.

I've tried all kinds of lip balms, from stuff in the drugstore to stuff with strange names that's only available online, and Lip Service is simply THE. BEST.

My lips do not get very visibly chapped, but they still always feel very dry; in addition, they're fairly sensitive, so many lip balms will seem to work for a short time, then start irritating my lips. But Lip Service is extremely moisturizing, and very soothing.

In my experience, it's long-lasting. Other chapsticks I would apply numerous times every hour; Lip Service gets applied once ever few hours, probably. It is solid, but you can either scoop a bit off with your fingernail and then it melts right onto your lips (usually what I do), or you can soften it up by warming it in your hands or pocket.

I bought this here tin of lip balm to heal my dry lips. During this winter I stuggled to find a great-working lip product. When i saw the name I imediately wanted to try it out and Waa-laa ! it works great. Its only been a week and Ive noticed the difference! I goes on pretty easy and it stays on for for a good while. I use this allll day long. Besides it being fantastic it may not be for folks who like great smelling/tasting lipbalms. It has a faint smell of .. im not sure but its not bad and theres no taste (which I dont mind either). This is something I'd buy again and again ! I love it !

my lips had been torn to shreads between winter and me biting them. I bought this in my local lush and used it a few times throughout that day. By the evening, my lips were perfect! I was amazed, and extremely pleased.
My only complaint is it's quite hard and so difficult to apply, however I found this problem is easily solved! Put it in your pocket. It warms up just a little bit and is the perfect texture to apply.

I like this a lot because it really helps my dry lips. The only thing I don't like is that it takes some work with your finger to get it softened up to rub on. I use it every day though and love it.

I bought this as a smoother alternative to Maple Taffy - which is a bit sticky and hard. When i first opened it, it was rock solid and flaked when i ran my finger across it. I read some reviews and realized i needed to put it in my pocket (or somewhere like that) to warm it up. After 10-20 seconds it applied just fine. The second i put it on, my flaky, dry lips were smooth and soft.

It seems to have a matte finish and feel, and the scent is fresh and lemony. In the pot its a little strong, but i barely smell it now as it's on my lips. Its not greasy at all. After extended use my lips are MUCH softer and no more peeling for me!

LUSH's website shows this as a bright yellow balm, when in fact its pure white, and has a creamier texture. Seems like it would be a perfect over-night balm.

I use this product every night before I go to bed. I don't use it during the day because I find it kind of a pain to reapply because it is a bit hard. But at night, it works wonders. I used to have really dry lips that would constantly crack and ever since I have used this I haven't had any problems. Since I only wear it at night, it will also last for a long time which makes spending the seven dollars on it a bit easier.

As a lip balm junkie, let me tell you this is the best lip conditioner ever. It feels like heaven on my lips. The picture shows a yellow product, mine is more white, just FYI. I use it 100 times a day. Which is my only problem with it is that it wears off easily. However, when its gone, your lips will be the softest they have ever been. A must for winter.

Normally I go for lip balms in a tube but this tin is a little piece of heaven. I apply it so many times daily, I can't get enough of it. It works immediately and has a really light flavor. I know I'll be stocking up with this. Some say its hard but I've never had a problem with softening it up.

First of all, two thumbs DOWN to LUSH for discontinuing my lifeline Lip Squeak! I've been a Lushie for over 7 years and have tried most of the products by now. I needed more lip balm and since there are such limited choices now, I decided to go with Lip Service. It's awful. It tastes gross, it's hard and dry at all times, which makes it very difficult to apply (even when I keep it in my pocket). It doesn't stay on long either. I wouldn't even give it one star. Very disappointing. I would never buy this again. Regular Chap Stick would be more effective, and I never use that!

I purchased this lip balm after hearing great things from dozens of friends. I was initially skeptical, since I was a long-time believer in another brand, but tried this one anyway and haven't looked back since.

I do a lot of camping and I need something that isn't messy, will work and will work with minimal applications. Lip Service has easily healed my worst chapped lips overnight, and kept me smooth, soft and hydrated with one quick swipe.

It does stay pretty solid in cold weather, but body heat from keeping it in a pocket is enough to make it spreadable.

I *hate* the feeling of lipstick and other "slimy" products on my lips or skin, so I love how lightly this goes on. Feels like you're wearing nothing while moisturizing and protecting through the longest, sweatiest days. Can't live without it!

Originally, I had my heart set on getting Honey Trap. My friend had extremely dry lips but they visibly improved within the week she started using it. My lips rarely get chapped or dry but due to the cold weather, they have been doing all of the above as well as losing color. The Lush people recommended Lip Service to me and I am so glad they did! My lips healed within three days. Now, they are all soft and back to their pink tint! One thing is that it hardens and melts too easily and quickly. Some people have recommended putting it in pockets but my lip balm became too gooey and warm when I did. I just leave it in my bag and before using it, just hold in in my hand for a bit. This product is fabulous! I love Lush.

Honestly I wouldn't even have bothered to write about this product if I hadn't seen so many reviews about how difficult it is to use. I had the same complaint till the manager at my store told me how to use it. She keeps it in her pocket to have her body heat warm it up. I go a step further. I keep mine in my bra lol. I know it sounds crazy but it really works. If I feel chap coming on I just put it in the treasure chest and use it no problems. A word of caution do not put it on your hair straightener! I got the brilliant idea because thats how I heat up my eyeliners. Well it burned through the bottom of the tin and made a leaky burned mess which poured all over my bed when I opened it. It does what its supposed to do when properly used and I will be buying a replacement.

Other lip balms smell better, but only because they smell a bit stronger... I like being able to smell good stuff on my lips. Lip Service is simply the ultimate lip moisturizer... It makes lips soft, smooth and, in just one word, VERY kissable!!! Thank you, Lush for making another great product!

I LIKE THIS!!! The smell is not as great as None of Your Beeswax, but this is so far the best Lush balm I've tried: it's softer than NYB and, even though it DOES tent to harden up, all you need to do is keep it in your pocket and you'll be good to go. Plus it's a lot less greasy than NYB and makes my lips soft and supple!!!

I have been a serious addict of non-pigmented things to put on your lips for as long as I can remember. I received this product as a gift, and was excited to use it as I normally wouldn't be able to justify[$]for lip balm. This stuff is TERRIBLE. I tried using a handful of times over a 2 week period; within an hour of each use my bottom lip was flaking, cracked and bleeding, far worse than before I put the stuff on. I had several friends try it out to see if maybe I was just allergic to something, but they all had similar experiences. I would have given this zero stars if possible. I exchanged it for None of your Beeswax, which is an incomprehensibly better product. I would recommend anyone to buy that instead.
