This one is really good. If I use too much it can get a bit greasy, but not nearly as much as Skin Drink. It smells so clean and fresh, but not in a soap way. It smells really natural. I don't care for herb scents, so this is soft and pure vanilla almond milk. Very light and refreshing. It never stings my skin or causes breakouts.

This is a great introduction cream I found. A little goes a long way so it lasts a good while too. If you put too much on it will appear greasy. It smells great and I look forward to starting my morning with this lotion. It has definately been good on my acne prone which breaks out ridiculously easily. It has given me a more youthful glow.

Oh my goodness. I have been using this moisturiser for a few years and have never fully appreciated it until recently. I decided to splash out on an expensive moisturiser from a different brand that was for dry & sensitive skin...and had a massive allergic reaction to it. Rash, chapped eczema-like skin, you name it. I immediately rushed to Lush and started slapping on the Celestial (in combo with Ultrabland for evening cleansing & Angels on Bare Skin for morning in-the-shower cleanse & exfoliate) and within a week, my skin is as good as new. It nourishes & protects, and is soooo soothing and luxurious feeling. Celestial, I am sorry I ever took you for granted.

While on vacation, I used a sunscreen on my face that gave me an extremely painful, dry, patchy and sensitive rash. My friend gave me this moisturizer to use to help alleviate the dryness and redness. IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. In just a few days, my skin was back to it's normal moisturized self! It works wonders to smooth out my skin and hydrate it to perfection. It doesn't make your skin greasy and it smells amazing. I would definitely reccomend this product to anyone and everyone! It's amazing and works perfectly!

This is the best night moisturizer for me. I'm usually combo skin but an area under my nose gets very irritable, even when I use night creams that claim to be a savior for sensitive skin. After using this in one night, my face feels like it died and went to heaven. Truly a godsend. And a little goes a long way.

I got to try this when they released the sample sizes of the moisturizers, and I am SO glad I picked this one up! I put it on after I wash my face at night before I go to bed because it's so much heavier than Imperials (which I also use). Ugh, I just feel so good after, I DEFINATELY recommend!

Last week while stopping by to pick up a shampoo bar I was greeted by the wonderful people that work at the FL Mall lush store. I was interested in the new trial size pots of celestial and had never tried it before. One of the ladies at this store suggested getting the trial size and a color supplement and using them together to create a tinted moisturizer. Mind you, I have skin that is easily irritated and continuously breaks out from cosmetics such as cover girl. After using the tinted moisturizer as a foundation for a week I noticed amazing results. All of the acne and redness that i had was drastically reduced and my skin still feels incredibly lightweight! I cant thank the Orlando store enough for recommending this product!

The description is true- a little bit does go a very long way! Too much at once and it gets a bit greasy. Has a nice light vanilla scent and it's goes on super smooth. Great for sensitive skin! I use it after I wash my face and night, before I go to bed. My skin still looks smooth when I wake up :)

I love this face lotion. Formerly I used Olay products on my face but never again! This lotion is the bomb! At first I thought it was sorta expensive but then again a little bit goes a really long way, like most of Lushs products. My skin has never been happier, no break outs, no dry patches, just beautiful skin.

Before I used this my skin was dry from an allergic reaction, so I was using a greasy lotion to get rid of the awful flaking. It would get all over my glasses creating a huge mess. BUT after using Celestial JUST ONCE my skin looks better than ever!! its not greasy and my skin looks amazing now. No joke, my skin looks great!!

My skin is extremely sensitive, and this doesn't irritate it. As advertised, it's light and not greasy.

If you're buying this online for the first time, be aware it smells *strong*. Since it's meant for faces the smell is always present. It's like standing in an elevator packed with people doused in Vanilla Fields perfume, always.

My personal opinion is that Lush could dial back on the vanilla a little for this one. Otherwise, it's great moisturizer.

I'm SO bummed :( I tried on Celestial at the Lush in Carmel, CA. Later, I made a special trip with my boyfriend all the way to the Santa Clara store from the East Bay, and purchased the moisturizer. I had assumed the small pimple I got in Carmel was from all the sunscreen not the Celestial I sampled…however, I got home with my new moisturizer SO excited to put in on my still damp face and go to bed, expecting to wake up with hydrated happy skin! Well, I woke up to a couple little bumps on my jawline, and let me say - I never EVER break out. I do have sensitive skin, this is true, but typically if a product is geared towards those with sensitive skin and claims to be non-greasy it works well! I suppose I'm just disappointed that this product and my skin did not get along, and I think it's important for others like me who might assume that since it is marketed for sensitive skin folks like us, it may very well be too oily for you! Luckily, my mom is a skin care buff like I am, so I gave it to her as a soothing night creme. Her skin is less irritated by oils than mine, hopefully it works for her. Other than my skins unhappy reaction, Celestial smelled great and the ingredients sounded lovely! Just beware it's expensive and could easily not work for you like it did not work for me :(

I have tried all the other LUSH moisturizers on my oily sensitive skin, and this is my favorite. A very little bit goes a long way, and I actually put it on slightly damp skin to mix with water, then wipe off excess after a few minutes with a facecloth. It makes my skin super soft and reduces redness, and it smells great! Because I only need a little fingertipfull to do my entire face, an entire pot is a great investment!

I tried this out because I have pretty sensitive skin and have had little luck with other chemical products claiming to be gentle. Unlike those other lotions, Celestial smells like sweet almond milk and doesn't hurt to use, which is really nice.

However, I thought that I would use this product more often but when I realized that it would sweat off of my face easily (which hadn't really happened to me before), it set me off from the product a bit. I would also like something a little less oily, because my pores seem to clog fairly easily.

Overall, it is a good product to wear at night and is a nice alternative to those with sensitive skin, but I am still not dead-set on buying another jar.

I have suffered from severe, sensitive skin for years. Especially on my face. I also have very dry, eczema prone skin. I always find it hard to come across a face moisturizer that does not irritate my skin as well as soothes and moisturizes my dry skin. Most face creams contain fragrance and sunscreen (which irritates my skin if I use it in a moisturizer). Those that don't are usually too light of a moisturizer. My skin needs some serious moisture. I cannot tell you enough how amazing Celestial is. It smells like pure vanilla extract/vanilla bean ice cream. It is so light and non-greasy. My skin soaks it right up, leaving my face non-greasy, but is fully moisturized and not dried out. Since it is summer currently, my skin does not need as much moisture as is necessary in the winter months. I cannot wait to see how well this works during the winter. If it does not I am looking forward to trying Skin Drink during the winter.I love this moisturizer. You will too.My only negative is that it is pretty expensive. However, a lot of specialty face creams out there are around $15 to $20, but I was hoping I would get a little more than 1.5 oz for [$]. But that is just me, the poor college student. :)

I had dry/combination and acne-prone skin, and I was looking for a moisturizer last winter to fully moisture my skin while not make me feel greasy. I came across this in Lush and I just wanted to give it a try, however, I found it to be the best face moisturizer that I have ever used! It is so soothing and fast absorbed, I don't feel it is greasy at all! I keep using it until now, and it still works perfectly in summer time and not feel heavy on my face. It even calms my face when I have acne!

I am so happy with this moisturizer and I will definitely recommend it to my friends who has sensitive, dry combination skin.

Celestial is great for my oily skin. It's a bit thicker than most facial moisturizers I've used in the past, but as long as you don't over-apply it, it's fine. As with most of Lush's moisturizing products, a little dab will do ya and I highly recommend just dipping a finger tip in it and dotting on your face. Also, one of the sales clerks told me that it would absorb more easily on wet skin and she was correct.

I received this as a sample during my last lush trip and am very glad i got to try it. My skin is incredibly dry and sensitive and so I really have to be careful with what I use on my face. i've only been using this for a week or so, but I can definitely tell my face feels softer than before. and it smells great too! :) What i do is cleanse with my cream exfoliating cleanser, then use a breath of fresh air toner, and lastly moisturize with celestial while my skin is still damp. in the mornings all i have to do is spritz a little bit of toner, put on celestial and then wait a while before i apply a light sunscreen.

I would definitely recommend using this during the summer and spring. I think I might need something heavier for the winter though, probably shangri-la.

I am in my late 20s, have very dry skin- even in the summer I am parched. I have used so many moisturizers from high end boutiques and the grocery- it's insane. I tried Celestial for the first time Christmas 2010 (mother-in-law got it from my Lush wish list) and was excited by the results- after only 3 days, I started receiving compliments from my family and friends that I had acquired an amazing glow to my skin- they thought I had changed my diet. I wanted to cry from happiness as I have always had terribly dry skin my whole life and for the first time, was being told it looked great!

This cream has balanced my skin out amazingly- before, I was exfoliating nearly every day to try and tame my flakiness- which caused breakouts and I STILL had dry patches. Since using this, I was able to go back to exfoliating 1-2x a week and my skin cleared up- for the first time in my life, I feel I have "good" skin. It evened out my facial color to wear I can feel confident without concealer- before my cheeks were almost always a flushed red from winter dryness.

Celestial has been gentle enough to use around my eyes and it minimized the fine lines under them. The smell is very pleasant to me- almost like the light vanilla scent of rice pudding. The texture is light and smooth- a little bit goes a very long way. 1 jar lasts me just over 2 months as a day cream.

Now that it is Summer, it does seem to be slightly oily for me now (I problem that is a first for me!)- as the day wears on, my skin gets a greasy film to it so for the warmer days, I am switching to Imperialis and use this as a night cream instead.
