I had wanted to try this product so I bought a gift bag from LUSH for myself with this inside. I used as directed (which I thought was easy, I don't know why some people complain that it's difficult to use) and I can see how some people love it, and others not so much. When I was rinsing it out in the shower my hair didn't feel particularly conditioned, but when I combed my hair there were no tangles at all and it was so manageable when I was styling it! As for the smell, I think it's a little strong. Even on the second day I kept catching whiffs of the scent, which to me smells like patchouli or some other herb (which I'm not totally opposed to lol I'd rather have an herbal smell than fruity). Overall, I do like this conditioner but I'm not completely opposed to trying another from LUSH.

I really wanted to stop using bottles in my bathroom... so when I saw LUSH had a conditioner bar, I was all for it. Plus I actually really do like the smell... I bought 2 and the saleslady told me she thought it would last me about 2 months (1 month each) given my hair length and type and frequency of washing (every day). Well, she was wrong. I used up 1 bar in about a week and a half, and my second bar is almost gone after only four uses. I was alarmed it was running out this fast, so I went to LUSH again and asked if this was normal. I told them how and how often I had been using it. They said it all sounded right but suggested I should try to put it in a case so that it wouldn't dissolve unnecessarily. But that has not worked either. I have since switched to buying bulk conditioner from [@]. I can't afford to keep buying a new bar every 1-2 weeks. I've concluded that for my hair length (fairly long - to the middle of my back) and type (relatively thick) and treatment (highlights), this simply is not a good product. My main issue is that it runs out too fast and secondly it does not appear to do much conditioning. Perhaps it works great for people with thinner, shorter hair but it certainly did not work for me.

I actually came here to read comments from others on some possible ways to make this easier to use - because I, like many of you, absolutely love LUSH and the idea behind this product, but I'm having trouble finding the love here.

In short, I love the smell, and with a bit of work, I can apply it and love the results - soft, smooth, fragrant hair. But sadly, the effort I have to put into it makes me look elsewhere for a conditioner. Also it seems to go fast, but with the problems, I don't end up using it regularly, so I can't give you a good idea here.

(I have short, thick hair. I've been applying it by rubbing the bar over my, which eventually works)

WOW. The smell of this is amazing, like an incense shop or something along those lines. When it first arrived in my mailbox, I couldn't stop sniffing it. I ordered this in July and I STILL have almost half the bar left (It's now November.)

The key is to take good care of the bar. I leave it (and my Seanik, they make a great pair) outside of the shower on a washcloth. After I'm done showering, I take the bars to my bedroom so they don't melt in the steamy bathroom. It makes a lovely air freshener as well!

I have very short, fine hair, so I don't need a ton of conditioner. This product is great because a few swipes leaves my hair soft, but not greasy. It's hard to figure out how much product you're applying to your hair the first few times you use this because you can't feel the product going on.

Lush is all about making handmade, fair trade, organic, vegan products that REALLY work, and this one does all of that! Thanks, LUSH!

I would recommend this product to anyone with normal to oily hair. It worked great and smelled awesome! (if you like that "very earthy" smell) I would recommend using a deep conditioner once a week to keep it from drying out.

I'm a big fan of solid products and found the scent of Jungle so intriguing I had to give it a try.

My hair is very fine and thin with loose curls. Over the past few years some of my hair (the bottom 6 inches) had been bleached around 12 times and is pretty damaged.

That being said, I get the idea that this conditioner would work a lot better for straighter hair that's already pretty healthy. Conditioning my hair is practically the only way to untangle those grabby, damaged curls and without the slickness of a cream conditioner, Jungle couldn't help much. What worked best for me was to slick it on in several stripes down my hair, let it soak for a bit, then use a wide toothed comb to carefully comb it through my hair, which mixes it into more of a cream, and let it soak in some more before washing out.

The Jungle scent is thoroughly addictive. At first I just thought it was interesting, but now it's like delicious candy that I can never get enough of.

1 Jungle bar lasted about 2-3 months for me, I went through 2 whole bars before 1 solid shampoo bar died.

When my hair grows out long enough for me to cut off the damaged parts I will definitely try Jungle conditioner again!

I try to use this product daily (have had it for 3 weeks now) and though it smells wonderful when entering the shower and getting it warm and wet for use it has never been able to condition my thin hair. I've tried rubbing it between my hands to produce some kind of lather but the most I can get is some minimally translucent layer of water. When I tried softening it to run through my hair it ended up pulling my hair with the bar. When it's all said and done, my hair comes out feeling like straw and the ends are suffering for it. I end up using a drug store conditioner over this one (because I still love the smell). I want to love this product I do, but it just doesn't deliver the results I need.

I use this conditioner every day after I use my shampoo bar. I love the smell! However, it only lasts a month or so, compared to my shampoo bar, which is still going strong after over three months of use. The bar will break after a few weeks, and then its becomes mushy and doesn't hold together. To make it last longer, I put the bits of conditioner in a container and mix with hot water until it is more like liquid conditioner. I do love this product, but I wish the price was a little lower because it doesn't last as long as equally priced shampoo bars.

I really wanted to love this product. I love the solid shampoos so I was excited to try the solid conditioner. I love the way it smells, though I don't find it at all fruity. It is a bit more earthy and herbal smelling to me, which I prefer. That is about the only good thing about this product. It is very difficult to use, and actually makes my hair feel worse than it did before having conditioned. It creates tangles and completely dries my hair out. (I have long, wavy, sometimes frizzy hair of average thickness, and it is not oily.)

I am very disappointed in this product, and in Lush conditioners in general. I have yet to find one I like, though I recently got Retread which everyone seems to love. Fingers crossed!

I love it! It smells amazing and leaves my normally dry, wavy hair so soft. It doesn't lather so you just smoth the bar through your hair, but that's normal for conditioners. It's a little tough to use once the bar gets small, but overall it's absolutely amazing!

I've actually bought this product twice now- the first time it being a brick rather then the new mold. I like it a lot more this way. With the brick it was easy for small chunks to fall away into your hair, which would be hard to get out. With the new mold, while it is smaller, I didn't have that problem. Because of that I'm also able to lather it a lot easier. The main thing is that while it is moisturizing, it's not as moisturizing as a drugstore conditioner- so don't rinse it out too much. It also smells absolutely amazing, and it is light so if you prefer the smell of your shampoo, you'll still be able to smell it. I normally combine it with either Karma or Godiva, aka the god and goddess of shampoo. I'm just glad they were able to get this product to work. My only complaint is that I wish the molds came in this size and then one a little larger, because i imagine that people with really long hair would appreciate it.

I'm posting after my first try of Jungle, so this might seem a bit premature, but I totally love this! And like the other reviewers say, it is kind of weird to use. It really doesn't feel like anything is happening while you are putting it on. Just have faith and keep chugging on. I have such thick hair that I probably stroked on Jungle about 9 or 10 times, and I may go for more next time. But it still has tamed my hair better than my former conditioner. I'm very pleased and amazed!

You'll realize that something was actually being accomplished as soon as you've let it settle in for a while and go to rinse it out. I used a comb in the shower, and it was a lot like combing through pure water.

My only gripe about it is that the scent is so very strong. It almost knocks you over. I don't object to it, and I'm sure I'll adjust, but it's very strong, even while my hair is drying.

I definitely won't be giving this up though! I can't stop touching my hair! It feels so nice! And the faded scent is nice and clean. My hair is very thick, long, and mostly straight. (I seem to be shifting from straight to curly one strand at a time, and am about 30% into that change. Talk about an awkward phase.) Jungle helped to tame my curly flyaways. They are still curly, they just aren't poofing up every which way. Oh, and I should mention I used Irresistible Bliss as my shampoo.

if Jesus were Tarzan, or something. I can smell this on my hair DAYS after washing. I only wash my hair once every two to three days because its pretty dry, but it smells awesome anyway. Its not the conditioner for extremely damaged hair but if you're pretty normal to some damage you should be fine. The texture might take some getting used to. It doesn't feel slippery like regular conditioner but works just as well.

I'm a huge fan of Lush's solid Shampoos and received this conditioner as a gift. I had some high expectations for it but unfortunately, it didnt hit the bar. I have long, thick hair and this conditioner, when I add ALOT to my hair leaves it somewhat soft and clean but only on my scalp area. The rest of my hair ended up very dry, became brittle and now I have split ends.

I assumed the problem with this was that I wasnt applying it properly so I tried mashing a little up and watering it down so it would be easier to spread but no dice. The same thing happened with my ends and my hair is still brittle. Surprisingly my hair feels softer BEFORE I apply this conditioner than after. I think I'm going to stick to Lush's liquid conditioners and, though this one smells amazing, is a great concept, I wouldnt buy it again unless they improved their formula.

I bought this same time as the Karma Komba solid shampoo. It smells amazing on its own and the two scents work really well together. I have fine, thinner hair so I usually use a lot of conditioner to keep it comb-able. I love the scent, and it leaves my hair feeling super soft and plus it rinses out really well. The only thing is that I wish the bars were bigger. I ran out of this well before the shampoo. It doesn't really feel like its in your hair so I kept putting a bunch on each time. Besides that, I love this stuff!

I bought this just on a wim. I'm sooooo surprised on how amazing this works, and what it does for my hair. It smells amazing. After i use it my hair is soft and very volumized.My only problem is that it's somewhat hard to use, the pieces just slide out of my hands, when adding water to them.

Okay I have to admit that at first I was skeptical on this product and did not think that it would work. But I got it included in a hair kit so i thought id give it a try and if it didn't work no big deal. honestly this is the best conditioner i have ever used. I will not use anything else ever again. I have super thick, dry, curly hair and this stuff transformed it!! It lasts a while and has a nice smell!
