The first time I used Godiva, I got a bit of water in the tin and it turned to liquid. Still, I used it in liquid form and the smell was wonderful. It made my hair soft and shiny, but I can't use this without a separate conditioner. The pieces of shea and cocoa butter don't seem to melt well, so it doesn't condition well, and after some use the rest of the bar starts to get used up while chunks of butter remain, so it's kind of odd looking. All in all I really like it, it's just annoying when it gets toward the end and starts falling apart.

I was oh so sceptical to these solid shampoos, but decided to give it a go, and expected to hate it. But.. best.. thing.. EVER! It smells nice, had to get used to the smell, first i thought "eeeuuwh what IS that", but now its mmmm yum.

The last halfyear I've also been losing alot of hair, I thought it was just something I imagined, since my hair had gotten so long, and that I was supposed to lose so much hair, but 3 weeks with this shampoo, and I now know I was wrong.

It lathers well, I feel the conditioner also does a good job, I thought my hair would feel very dry with a shampoo/conditioner in one, but so far its no problem.

I have very dry hair and the first time I used this shampoo bar, I fell in love. Fell in love with everything about it: the gorgeous scent, how my hair feel, etc. But a few uses later and my mind started to change. My hair was feeling weighed down, way too weighed down. At first I could go in between washes with this, but now it seems that by the end of the day my hair is ready for another wash. Another problem for me with this bar is that after a couple uses, the shampoo part (bright yellow)started wearing down like it usually would, but the conditioner parts (milky squares) stayed in perfect shape, to the point where I felt like I was washing my hair with conditioner, not shampoo. Literally just pieces of conditioner held together with bits of shampoo. Probably going to try out other shampoos, but still won't get the sent of Godiva off my mind.

It took me a long time to accept my hair. It can get frizzy, it gets PMS...sometimes it just doesn't want to cooperate no matter how much I beg. And maybe it's because I wasn't treating it right. My natural hair has grown out, I stopped dying it, and now, using Godiva, it gets a great scent without too many chemicals. My hair loves this stuff. On top, it's course, but the underside gets greasy easily. Washing with normal shampoo, it's hard to get less product on top where it's dry and more on the bottom; but with Godiva, the bar gives you a lot of control. I do find that if you leave the product on your hair for too long (and you will want to, the smell is that fabulous), it can be drying. But if you lather and rinse, instead of letting it sit, the scent still lingers and your hair will thank you. <3

I love this product! Why? This product not only thoroughly cleans my oily hair but leaves it smelling beautifully floral all day long! I use this every time my boyfriend decides we're going to have a date night, I wash up in the morning, go to work, come home, fix my hair again and off we go. With any other store shampoo the smell would be gone by the time I get to work but with this I smell beautiful all day long.
The only con is that with my also thin hair, daily use of this shampoo can be a little harsh on the ends. But since I only use it for special occasions (once or twice a week) it's really not a huge issue.

I was NOT expecting this product to be so great for my hair. It's thick, curly, & color treated. But it surprisingly left it soft, smooth, & didn't strip my hair of color. It's great for every day use.

Love this! I have used so many products that promise to help my dry hair and scalp, and this makes my hair soft and light and moisturizes my scalp. My hair also smells wonderful the whole day after I shower. Must buy!

Finally, a shampoo that suits my crazy hair! I've tried lots of different shampoos, and Godiva is the only one that really brings out the best in my long, wild, wavy mane. It's like when you grow up feeling misunderstood and then you find a friend who just loves you for you! Other shampoos for curly or wavy hair seemed to have either a frizzy or greasy effect, but Godiva leaves it clean and luscious with a healthy shine. Sometimes I pair it with the Jungle conditioner for a little extra moisture. Thank you Lush for <3ing my hair!

This product was one of the first things I tried out At lush an I found that it wasn't very effective. The smell is great and I received compliments on it, but it drIed my hair out! After shampooing (great lather, by the way) I rinsed it out. While rinsing my hair, it felt oddly squeaky. And when my hair was done air-drying, the tips of my hair was stripped of all moisture. I didn't want to waste[$] so I kept using it off and on. But! Even though I wasn't using it every day, maybe 2 times a week, I am left with a dissapointingly small disk of the solid shampoo. And I've only had for a month and a half. Great smell, dissapointing results.

I have very thick, course hair that is frizzy. This shampoo totally tames it and makes my hair very manageable. I could never before just let my hair air dry and wake up and have it look great before now. I have been using the solid shampoo and have never had so many compliments on how great my hair looks. I will never stop using this product.

I bought this after asking around at the local Lush store for their favorite shampoo bar... They all suggested this for my problematic, coarse, and chemically processed hair. I love it. Traveling is easy and I don't have to worry about my shampoo bottle exploding in my suitcase or getting a lot of tiny bottles shoved into the standard quart-size bag to get through the metal detectors at an airport. I took it to Europe and on a cruise, and it was a lifesaver.

I was really iffy on buying this because I've never used a shampoo bar before and my hair hasn't been in great shape. I color my hair too frequently so it's really damaged. Lately the only thing that's made me happy with my hair is really expensive shampoo.
But I finally broke down and bought this. It's weird to get used to at first but it works really well. I'm able to brush my hair after getting out of the shower (which is a horrible habit I can't seem to break) but my hair doesn't feel slimey or greasy at the same time. And to top it all off, it smells amazing.
I will definitely be buying more bars and hook my friends on them.

I love the smell and texture of the foam in Godiva. It is def. worth the small price!
However I have super curly hair ( I usually use curly whirly), and I wish it was just a tad bit more moisturing. I hestiant to use a conditioner because I dont want the amazing smell to go away. Maybe a companion solid conditioner could be in the works?

I really wanted a lush shampoo bar for a while! While looking online I was interested in karma koba, but when I got to lush, I didn't like the smell as mush as I liked godiva, it smells like it's going to be super strong scented at the store but when you use it it is actually quite pleasant :) it lathers well and when I use it my her feels cleaner then it ever felt with a bottled shampoo! My hair smells awesome all day and I love it! I use it with jungle conditioner and they compliment each other quite nicely:)

I have been using solid shampoos from Lush for over a year now. I keep returning to Godiva as my favorite. I get compliments on my hair virtually every day - and all I do is wash it and walk out of my apartment. No one believes that I use no product (mousse, hairspray, etc). My hair has never been this soft and shiny and HEALTHY, and you notice the effects the very first time you use it.

Great product! Made my usually frizzy, unruly hair smelling delicious and gave it volume--without the frizz. I use it with Veganese and it works wonders. The only issue is that it falls into pieces rather easily. Job well done, though!

Godiva is a God send!!! I have super long, thin and wavy hair. I try and wash it only ever other day, or every 3 days, to keep the ends looking nice. However, with most shampoo's I've tried, that always weigh down my hair. by the next day i have oily, stuck to head roots and frizzy ends. Not. Cute.

Then I found Godiva. I bought it to be a little more earth friendly, however, you get so much more! Not only are you saving plastic from going into landfills, but you actually get an amazing product! The smells is Divine!!! Jasmine and floral scents fill my shower! If you don't like strong scents, maybe try Jumping Juniper or Squeaky Green. The conditioning bits in this bar give my roots just the right amount of moisture! by the 3rd day of not washing my hair, my hair still smells amazing and looks great.

Also, because Lush doesn't use harsh chemicals in their products, it's been improving the health of my hair! the ends stay strong and keep growing long!!! WOOOOO!!!!

One of the BEST products by Lush! I would recommend it for ALL hair types, however, if you are sensitive to smells, you might want to find another bar. If not, give this one a go!

I love this product! I was so surprised at how it lathers. I went out with the girls last night, and I always hate the smell of smoke in my hair. With other shampoos I wash and wash and there is always a lingering smoky smell the next day. With Godiva, NO Smoke smell remains! I love that!!!
