I love this product! My hair is quite thick and stubborn, and I love a lot of volume. The girl recommended this product to me and I'm quite grateful to her!

My only problem with this product is that certain parts of my hair get stringy because of the gel- I don't really know how to describe it, but parts of my bottom half of my hair underneath the upper layer of hair feels as if it's greasy or like I've left conditioner or shampoo in when I haven't. I guess I need to brush my hair out more once I use it?

I got this with a Lush gift card, and it lives up to its reputation. I thought it was too good to be true, until I put it in my frizzy wavy/curly hair and my curls became more shiny, defined, and less frizzy after just one use. I also cant get enough of the smell! I can put a little in my hair and blow dry it for straight hair, and scrunch it in my hair for a more curly look. Its expensive, but worth it.

This product smells so great and the smell is long lasting which is great for thick curly hair like mine. Also, it really does work. It tames my frizz like not other product and trust me being such a product junkie I have tried EVERYTHING from cheap stuff to expensive salon brands.

I use The Big Tease on the under layers of my hair. Nothing else has ever controlled my curls like this. It only takes a tiny bit, so while the product is expensive, it lasts forever! It is worth it if you have crazy curly hair like mine. It doesn't get all crusty and chunky like other gels, and I love the smell.

The Big Tease is great for styling! It has a strong hold...but it has a very strong odor as well. For those sensitive to scents I would skip this one. I found that it was just too much for me, especially because the scent will last more than 8 hours.

I mix a bit of The Big Tease about 1-to-4 with water and a few drops of argan oil for an awesome smoothing milk. A light work-through with this mix works great as strand prep before using a curling iron.

I was looking for a good gel that didn't flatten my hair or weigh down its delicate curls, and the big tease is it! I scrunch it in my hair after every shower, and mix in a little R&B, and I have almost no frizz (and I live in a super humid climate), and shiny, not greasy curls. The hold lasts days. If I need to refresh my curls, I just sprinkle with water, and scrunch, and this stuff reacts just like when I first put in on.

I took a chance and gave the big tease a try. I never paid 1[$]for this small amount of hair gel. It was MY TREAT! I tried it the next morning after my shower, and everything I ever wanted gel to do and didn't, The Big Tease was ALL of it and so much more. I can't have a day without it and despite the cost, The big Tease is a Neccesity! This is by far the best hair gel Ever known to Woman!!!

Delivers on hold and softness. I keep wanting to re-order it, but then I remember how the very, very strong scent of Olive Branch would cling, and cling, and cling ... I couldn't wear any other scent while using Big Tease in my hair. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if it smelled less. Does it absolutely have to smell of Olive Branch? It can't be unscented? (I'm asking out of genuinely not knowing.) Olive Branch is lovely, if that's what you're in the mood for, but it's a scent that totally dominates.

I liked this gel. It has a great smell. I used this for a tousled look to my layered hair. It also gave my hair a piece-y look to play up the bounce in my curls.

I use this to maintain my locs and keep the new growth from forming into a haphazard mat. I was on a mostly fruitless search for a natural-ish gel that didn't offend my sense of smell or irritate my already problematic scalp. With BT, the smell, while quite strong, is good and lasts a long time and I don't seem to be developing that 2nd day itch that comes with leaving gels in my hair.

The only downside is that it's quite sticky, and if you allow it to dry on your hands, you may have a harder time than normal rinsing it off. It's not rubber cement or anything, but compared to other mousses and gels, this is definitely more on the gluey side when it dries on the hand. So far, no glue effect in the hair though!

I have thick, wavy, short hair. I knew I wanted a try a new hair gel because nothing works for me. The Big Tease is not crunchy but definitely holds. It gives me the exact look I was looking for :)

I have wavy, frizzy hair that usually just looks straight and frizzy. I've tried so many products trying to find one that would eliminate frizz and allow my waves to come through. This is IT! I put a small amount through my hair while damp, then fluffed at the roots to air dry. That's it. It looks beautiful! Voluminous! Wavy! Frizz-free! If this product didn't work, I was going to crop my hair. I'm so glad I waited!

I spend almost no time in front of the mirror in the morning, but Big Tease allows me to create an easy hairstyle in less than a minute and holds my crazy hair all day long. I am addicted to many things LUSH, but this is the single product I cannot go a day without!

I have thin and flat hair so I was hoping this product would have a strong hold like it says in order to give my roots a lift. This product smells great but is expensive, but its says that you only need a small amount so I thought the small jar would last a while and was worth the money. Ive used it a few times and it doesn't do much. I dont get the lift I was hoping for and it doesnt last very long, but hey my hair does smell great =] but thats about it, idk maybe i'm using it all wrong but I dont think ill repurchase this.

I've tried everything out there and wasted tons of money on volumizing products that do not work. The Big Tease the the most amazing product I've ever used in my hair. It gives tons of volume and I am able to style without the product weighing down my hair. I would definitely recommend this!!!!

i have very processed/damaged wavy blonde hair. i was never a big gel person because they always seemed to dry my hair out and make it brittle. This stuff is different. Mixed with the R&B my hair is soft, my waves are more defined and my hair color even looks brighter (i also use the marilyn tx & blonde shampoo) But this is the first gel I actually really like for my hair! It helps the frizz and puffiness so much! A little goes a long way.

I take a tiny bit of this product and rub it into my roots. My hair gets tremendous lift and it lasts for the entire day. Much better than any mousse or root lifter I have used in the past. Smells absolutely fantastic, too -- slightly sweeter than olive branch.

This is not your average strong hold hair gel. It is thick, concentrated with a strong Olive Branch scent. It's my preferred version of this scent in that it's not very sweet, and the smell lasts all day. I have thick, long hair, and I enjoy styling it into 1940's up-dos. I combine Big Tease with a lighter gel to create a curl on the font of my head. Then I work Big Tease into the side roots, backcomb my hair and pin the sides up with a couple of bobby pins. Big Tease is great for thick hair and dramatic styles because it really holds your hair in place. I can get away with using a single bobby pin on my curl instead of two or three and it backcombs a dream. It builds a mat quickly and easily and really holds. Way less nasty than hairspray flying everywhere and you apply it exactly where you want it. You do need to consider how much you need for the job- it will get stiff you you apply a lot, which is why it backcombs and sculpts well.

I also had good results mixing Big Tease with R & B, applying to slightly damp hair and curling it. The curls held all day and were springy and soft. The R & B smoothed and moisturized the hair, and the slightly diluted Big Tease provided the hold.

If you have thick heavy hair and want some big dramatic fun, give it a try!

I did not expect this to work. I have been through every hair product in stores, salons, and on infomericals. I ended up getting this styling gel because I Love Love Love the smell of Olive Branch so I figured it would keep my hair smelling wonderful. It transformed my hair. I used to have to use a curling iron to tame my frizzy/wavy/curly hair and now I can just coat my wet hair with the big tease and wait for it to dry. It looks amazing...people from work have been commenting on how nice my hair looks and that normally doesn't happen.
