Castle In The Clouds

Given the pink and blue colors of this bubble bar, I expected vibrant colors in the water. How do imagine my surprise when the bubbles were white and the water was a very pale lavender! It's so beautiful and a nice change from bubble bars that stain my skin or don't work well with colored bath bombs. The fragrance was also divine. I expected fruity but it has a soft, floral background to the fruitiness that was so beautiful. I hope this bubble bar sticks around for a while; it's a new favorite of mine!

One of my daughters has VERY sensitive skin so I'm really hesitant to ever try things on her, but she's been begging me for bubble bath and this said it had calamine in it so..we tried it. I will say it doesn't bubble up like crazy, but it's enough to thrill my four year old! But most importantly--she didn't have any kind of reaction to it! So this will be something we'll get again.

This is a really hard bubble bar. I usually cut my bars with a knife and when I went to cut this, the knife got stuck and crumbs went everywhere. It might be better to just stick it under the faucet and then let it dry and reuse it that way. But that's not really a big deal, the bar made LOTS of bubbles and smelled very heavenly. My skin wasn't particularly scented after, but my bathroom sure was. The bubbles lasted a good long time, too. I'm definitely a fan, will buy again.

It is like one of the reusable bubble sticks: hard and not easy to crumble. I got three baths out of mine and my tub is on the larger side. The bar itself is pretty, looks like a little pink castle on a blue cloud. Castle has a delicate scent for a Lush product and it was sweet and enjoyable. The bubbles were lackluster and Castle turned the water gray - i was expecting lavender or pink. Not for me and I won't be buying this again, but I can see why other people would like it. It smells great, really sweet, but soft at the same time, and has a very relaxing smell. I would hold it under the running water when my tub was about half full of what I wanted, and it generated a lot of bubbles that lasted for at least 15 minutes, and I was able to use it 4 or 5 times! So not expensive at all!

So first things first: this bubble bar is very hard. It's basically a reusable one. You can definitely get about 2-3 uses out of it if you don't actively crush it between your hands. That is a plus in my book since this bar is a bit pricey. As other reviewers have commented the bubbles are very nice and there's plenty of them! However, the color of the water...well a charitable way to describe it would be "mid-tone lavender". In other words, gray. It turns the water gray. The scent is also something that I personally am not a fan of. It's less floral, more sugary. It almost smells like artificial flavoring for strawberries or grapes. It's a very cloying scent with almost a powdery undertone, and I wish there was more of a floral note to balance it. Overall, this bubble bar isn't anything to write home about but if you have sensitive skin try it out.

This is the first one I'm using out of an order I got today and I am in heaven. It was a little hard to break, but I don't even care. It has made a MOUNTAIN of the softest bubbles that smell like strawberry candy. I can't even see the water. I have bad eczema and Lush products are great on my skin in general, but this is the best yet. I've been sitting in this for almost an hour. Definitely will buy again

I didn't like this one because it had no color, I thought it was a reusable bubble bar instead.. Didn't crumble easily but left a lot of bubbles. It was okay but not my favorite. Didn't even use the entire bar.

My bubble bar was had as a rock (I wish i was joking). I had to bang it again the tube and it still didnt break off. I finally decided to put it under water and it just started to come off but not break or make into a paste. I'm not sure if this was suppose to be a reusable bubble bar like milky bath but I just rain it under the tap. I missed not being able to crumple it up in my hands. Smell is really nice.

I have always wanted to love taking baths, but I have severe eczema all over my body and face and have never been able to sit in the water for more than a few minutes without breaking out into a terrible, red, itchy flare-up. All I could really handle was a lukewarm shower every couple days, no longer than five or ten minutes, using only the blandest products possible. In October, I started taking Dupixent (a biweekly injection), and my skin has cleared up so, so much. It has completely changed my life. I'm trying so many things I haven't been able to do since I was a little kid, and using Lush products was one that I was really looking forward to! When I made my big celebration order, I bought a bunch of bath bombs and bubble bars for my partner. It didn't even occur to me that I might be able to enjoy them; I got other stuff for myself. But she raved so much about the first bath she took (with Twilight), and this little bubble bar smelled so good in the box... I gave it a shot. I didn't even remember that it's made with calamine to be soothing for sensitive skin! I honestly just chose based on how good it smells. It's like strawberries and bubble gum, in a completely non-cloying way-- and for reference, something like Ro's Argan is wayyy too cloying-sweet to my nose. This is super light, fruity, and a little floral. The water is a pretty, subtle, purpley-silver with a very slight shimmer, but no glitter. Anyway-- I stayed in the bath for about 25 minutes, until the bubbles were mostly flat and the water was lukewarm. I was more relaxed than basically any time I can remember. No itchiness at all. Obviously, that's mostly down to Dupixent-- but for what it's worth, my skin IS still very sensitive to direct irritants. This just didn't irritate it! I wish I could explain how much of a miracle that is. I'm so pleased. My bathroom and I smell so good. I feel like I have so much to look forward to. Thank you Lush!
