For The Children, Inc

For The Children has one program and one goal and that is to supply children with challenging home environments with basic school supplies to help make their school careers successful. From teachers: “There are no words to describe the feelings of a child who wants to do well but is unable to obtain the supplies. Without the necessary supplies kids are already two steps behind in the classroom. Having school supplies encourages students to do their best. » We are an all volunteer organization- 100% of funds received are used to purchase basic school supplies in bulk and distributed by volunteers.

How we helped

Our long term goal is to include more grades and other school districts.The donation from Lush has helped us reach 2817 more children, enabling the expansion to include another grade. We serve the neediest and most vulnerable members of our community, children. Lush funds will help children get the school year started with a fresh outlook and great attitude about their school and learning.
